The roaches are mostly outdoor roaches or bush roaches. They usually aren't associated with bad hygiene and trash like the other kind. They do come into the house but usually because is warm. Not to find food ect.

My 7 year old yelled from the bath the other night “hey Mum, there’s a spider in here can I call him George?” I said of course he can. Then his sister went into the bathroom next and he bangs on the door to say “don’t kill the spider. He’s my friend.” Needless to say the huntsman is somewhere in the house but we have no clue where any more.

G'day Guys!So good to see the two of you doing this!!!! Fun Fact! The "Spider Wasp" in black and orange did not kill that spider...She just paralyses the thing so she can take down her burrow and lay an egg onto it so when the egg hatches the baby wasp has a live food source to feed upon...They frequently visited our place when I still lived in Sydney...Awesome little creatures...BTW they are not aggressive and reluctant to sting anything other than their prey and don't want to waste good paralysing venom on a dumb human! bit of bush dentistry haha, love the reaction :) the cockroaches would have been attracted to the heat and once enough of them in there thy would have created a short circuit. I bet that would have been an electrician who found the nest. I'm Aussie and man enough to admit, I don't play with snakes or spiders unless I am 100% certain what type they are. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread comes into my mind everytime I'm in a situation like that, were not all stupid here. Cockatoos are very intelligent, can talk and live to about 100 years, we have huge flocks that regularly turn up wher eI live and other birds as welll. Alcohol makes people do stupid things, it's not just here haha

I don't know if we're necessarily more fearless as a nation, or if we're just more educated on things like how to respond when you see a nope rope in your backyard. By the way that was a python under the barbeque lid, they're harmless, and very pretty. Now if it was something like an Eastern Brown snake then you would immediately take several steps back and go call the local snake catcher. Having said all that though I do think we're probably a bit more chill in certain situations. I've been at the beach when a shark alarm has sounded and never seen anyone really panicking; we all just kind of saunter out of the water and stand around waiting for the all clear. I've also been in a situation where a shopping centre had to be evacuated for a bomb threat, and that was like people walking to the exits going, "So what are we being evacuated for?"..."Oh they reckon they're might be a bomb"..."Oh right, fair enough".

    • @emmagriffis9135

Hi guys, "Bob's your uncle" is an Australian colloquial term meaning, " & there it is" or "there you have it" or it's done" (Google 2023)
So basically after removing the man's tooth he's saying, "There you go, it's all done".
    I hope that helps.
Tiger snakes are extremely venomous too. So to use another Australian colloquial term, this poor guy if bitten, would be, "up S..t creek without a paddle". In other words if in a remote area without any form of communication & being that close to a venomous snake, he'd be in real trouble.
Kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺

When your camping, or out in the wild, we wrap the meat in aluminum foil, put it under the bonnet of the car, go for a drive and by the time you come back the meat is cooked.
