British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has suffered another setback. The UK held local body elections on May 2. The results are out and Sunak's Conservative Party has been hammered by the main opposition, the UK Labour Party. The Tories lost about 400 council seats, and only 1 out of 11 mayors in the UK is from the Conservative Party. The result has emboldened the Labour Party leader, Keir Starmer, who has called on Sunak to hold general elections immediately. Reports say Sunak has decided to delay the general elections by a few months to try and win over some voters.

@MajesticSwan666actually uk had a positive growth rate in 2023 overall despite almost all agencies predicting a recession for the year 2023 as a whole especially after the Truss Mini Budget.
Inflation down, Small Boats down, Deficit down (although partly through increased taxes).
But that said there is anger against Conservative Party because people are judging them for their 14 year performance and not the last year.
