Hi Catherine, my wife and i have been following your channel since its early days and always make a point of watching whatever your up to in the garden or in your home. My wife particularly enjoys your dress making and soft furnishing projects plus all the early season garden planting with flowers and veg. Always an enjoyable and relaxing watch, so glad you found plenty of plant bargains at your local gardencentre and like yourself i too have lots of daffodil and dwarf daffodil bulbs to pot up. Anyway i just wanted to say Thankyou for bringing a ray of happiness to so many people during these days of winter and plenty of joy and inspiration for the new year ahead. Take care and lots of love to the cats who create an enchanting atmosphere in your video’s. Dave Hayes from Oxford England. 🙋♂️👍
Thank you for showing us your bees. Your hives seem full and healthy. I'm amazed how much knowledge you have of beekeeping in such a relatively short time.
Beautiful Catherine! I was just thinking how blessed you are to have been able to share your books and tele episodes along with your channel with your Mam. I bet she was so proud of all you have done. You bring such joy and warmth to so many of us. I hope you can feel the love and kindness we all are sending to you. Bless you for your lovely heart.
I am thinking of you Catherine as the holidays approach. I know it will be tough this year. I hope Jack and Lily bring your family some joy to help ease missing your mom. I am sending you virtual hugs. ❤️❤️❤️
Don't tell me about procrastinating when it's time to plant Spring bulbs. I planted mine in February this year. No flowers, obviously, I only got leaves but I saw the other day there are lots of smaller bulbs so I'm looking forward to lots of tulips next year!
My Sunday is now complete. I always eat lunch when your video drops so I can sit down and enjoy it. I, too, have a list of procrastination tasks. Thank you for teaching us about Bee's. ❤
Props to you for tending to your bees 💖 I don’t know why, they scare me 😱. Loved the pansies you planted my favorites are Johnny Jump Ups. Have a lovely day beautiful Catherine 💖
Good day Catherine, I saved your video to watch early this morning, got to tell you. Listening to you talking I realize you brought out joy from within myself. I'm sure I will have a good day. It's getting cold here in Canada, so seeing you purchase new plants and playing in the garden lifts up the spirit. Thank you for the video, have yourself a great week.
I do love to see what plants are in the bargain section to help bring some life back to them. I've planted my spring bulbs & packed in violas on top. I'm excited to see them change over the seasons. You found some beauties & it'll be wonderful to follow up on them to see how they're doing. Thank you for the peace & quiet time you bring 🙏 Take good care ❤x
Here in Ontario, Canada, all our garden centers close by the end of August. In fact, there's very little left in August, which is a bit sad. It's really frustrating not to be able to buy perennials for fall planting, and the only fall colour available are mums. It was so enjoyable seeing you get some lovely colour pops for your garden.
Love your videos..a gentle calming distraction which is greatly needed ..love to watch the mischievous kittens they must bring you so much joy and great company ...impressed by the bee keeping..is there nothing you cant put your hand to ..very impressed...
I planted a big load of spring bulbs, but within 24 hours, the squirrels had dug them all up! I replanted them, but with far less TLC. I have my LOADS of leaves all raked and my beds all cut back and weeded ready for a cold winter sleep, here in Ontario, Canada. No more colour for me until the Christmas lights come on! The mums should survive your milder climate. They will almost make it here, they just don't thrive. Apparently, spring is the best time to plant them, but I haven't had any better luck then, either. I just helped my daughter build herself a raised bed in her new yard, ready to plant when spring comes. We filled it with straw, leaves, soil and composted manure :)
Always love a trip to the garden center. Nice plant selections. Pots all refreshed and ready to greet you each day. The bee hives look really healthy. Hopefully you will have a mild winter. Cheeky thumbs up. Have a great week.
I call it "putting the bees to bed " for the winter. Mine are warm and toasty but fingers still crossed as you never know what a Canadian winter will throw at them.
I loved your garden & bee video. Very relaxing. Thanks. Here in Florida we are in the garden trying to reshape it after 5-8 years of neglect. Couldn’t work in it during the summer to HOT & Snakes. So now is the perfect time for us. But it will take a bit. But it’s all good time together. My back small garden (50-100)feet.loving this weather. But thanks for the time out & relaxing time with your garden.
If ur in a warmer zone, almost all mums will come back year after year if u plant them in the ground. Last year, a master gardener here told me to plant them in the ground once I was done with them in my pots so I did. This year, they’ve gotten to be these massive round balls of green all thru the spring and summer, and have burst into color these past two weeks. I’ve enjoyed them IMMENSELY! So, I’ve gotten some more that I’m going to plant in the ground this year to enjoy next year. I’m in Texas, zone 8b, and the mums I planted at the end of fall last year have been on drip irrigation all thru out this year.
Yes, you are right. I planted my mums in the ground late autumn and they come back every year. They are stunning, a huge clump of bright yellow flowers.
This whole weekend has been rain and thunderstorms. Since I can't go outside I have been catching up on knitting projects I am gifting for Christmas. Lovely video, as always. A trip to the garden center sounds like a good idea. 🙂
Hello I’ve been following you for ages and have both of your books here in Brisbane Australia. I always look forward to your videos. I also watch your friend Karen too, mostly her garden videos as I’ve never really been into the make up scene. I think you do a wonderful job with the garden. I will be waiting for the bulbs to go in the ground in the next video. 😂 it will encourage me to get my garden moving. ❤❤
I know that only too well Catherine, Do everything other than what I’m supposed to be doing 😅 great to see that “Your Girls” 🐝 are doing well , It’s been super mild in the S/W as well,it’s rained all spring & summer but now it’s been dry a couple of weeks I suppose it’s the climate change . Suze. 🤗x
I just cleaned out all my container pots and stored them for winter. Between that and the bare trees, the yard looks so sad and empty. But, I'm looking forward to the holidays. That's what gets me through the dark winter days.
Catherine, hi. I just planted over 100 bulbs in the flower bed my 3 granddaughters made me. You and them have motivated me. I even designed the layout on paper before planting. Happy November, Marcia in Minnesota. P.S. Tell your bees hello from their cousins, the bees near me. They have kept me healthy for several years now, free of debilitating allergies - thanks to their local honey.
I really enjoyed getting to see what you were doing in the garden & in nature with the bees. You also found some great bargains at the garden center!! I’m working on garden chores to put the garden to bed for the season. - Julie 🍂🍁
Hi Catherine I really enjoyed this video your pots have done amazing out the front . I’m fascinated watching you with the bees thank you for such an interesting vlog. 💖👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙋🏻♀️ Patricia xx
Loved this Catherine. A bit of all sorts. The bees are fascinating. Wonderful creatures. Your garden is still looking very pretty and I know what you mean about planting spring bulbs, forever putting the job off but then they are a delight to see in the spring. Thank you Catherine.
What a lovely sight to behold when you drive in! The potted plants look so nice. I haven't planted my bulbs yet either but I'm seriously running out of time in the northeast US! Cold last night and tonight down to 27 degrees F. Gotta do it before the ground freezes. So nice that you still have plants available in your garden centers. Ours have turned over to Christmas decor and poinsettias! Enjoy your gardening. 👍 Nice to see the bees too.
Delightful video, calming and just what was needed on Sunday evening. You are not the only one procrastinating about the spring bulbs. 😂 I will get them planted by next weekend 😊 have a lovely week 😊
Your garden is shining! A great season with the front garden. Thanks for bringing us with you today. (I just bought more bulbs. Why?? I hate planting them…)

It’s been fairly mild in Ireland for the last few weeks, the winter chill hasn’t quite set in yet! I hope the frost isn’t too bad for you ❤️ definitely time to get cosy for the winter x
Going to see if I can also find garden center deals 😊 thanks for sharing your bees and I planted tulips but racoons got them here in northern California USA
Thanks for inspiring me to fix up my fall garden beds. Just an idea, but can you glue on a faux front door on their bee hive box above where they go in and out? It would be so adorable.
I was wondering if you could do a video (or include in another video) regarding your experience and thoughts about your HOTBIN? Thanks for all your sweet videos! 👏🏼👍🏼💐🍁🍂🥰

Thank you Catherine for such a lovely video. Love the bees xx. Your little cats are about two weeks older than mine - but I am too afraid to let mine loose in the garden, my neighbour has lost 3 in 18 months, cars!! 😢 do yours wander out of the garden, or stay with you?
Hey, so I don't have a main busy road in front of the house, and the cats stay out the back garden, mostly because the other gardens have dogs so they don't wander into them, and I only let them out for 2/3 hours during the day when I am home, I don't let them free roam. If your neighbour has lost 3 in a short time, I would keep them in, have you space to do a catio?
No planting for me. I've been dealing with raking and mulching the leaves and still need to get my perennials tidied up for the winter. Then s upcoming spring will require alot of pulling plants that no longer suit their spaces and redoing my front beds. Lots of planning and day dreaming about that once Christmas is passed.
I'm having a rough pain day and I had to cancel plans today. I just wanted to tell you thank you for always putting a smile on my face.
I’m sorry to hear you had a tough day ❤️ look after yourself and do something that can cheer you up ❤️ that’s what’s important!
I can relate, I hope you feel better soon. Catherine is a great person to help us forget our troubles for a while. 🤗

So lovely! Your garden videos are just a delight.
powder mildew is probably from inconsistent watering.
same here..still not planted all the bulbs! I started other jobs. Look forward to bulb planting soon ☺
Thank you, Catherine!! 💜 Hope all is well!!

Thanks ❤😊

Could you please tell me what the white flower with yellow center was at 13:21?
!long time viewer from coastal SC in the US. You have a far reaching audience. That's a tribute to your hard work at producing good content. This week's camera work was very good. How do you get such smooth transitions?
Hey, thanks for the kind words! X That plant is an anenome, I think the smooth camera transitions are a happy accident lol, I try to keep my hand steady but I have thought about investing in a gimbal for smooth shots x
Lovely video❤
Those silver looking plants you got for $3 we call them lambs ears I think. They will come back every year once you plant them. Good deal. What was that white looking plant you had in The front yard pot ? So cool
That is an anemone, great for autumn colour but they can spread x
Great video Catherine!!
Do the kitty girls get along with the cute orange and white kitty?
Yes, they do, sometimes they chase each other x
Lovely as always 💕
Lovely video
No planting for me. I've been dealing with raking and mulching the leaves and still need to get my perennials tidied up for the winter. Then s upcoming spring will require alot of pulling plants that no longer suit their spaces and redoing my front beds. Lots of planning and day dreaming about that once Christmas is passed.
Welldone! I do love mulching, so satisfying to see it all tidy with a fresh mulch x
You are such a good bee mum. Is that fondant the same as what you put on cakes?
yes it is, you can use cake fondant as feed, I get the one form the bee supply shop because it has some extra minerals in it x
