Hi guys, I made a new video discussing which characters from the series are likely to appear in season 2 for anyone interested! th-cam.com/video/0vId0drm91Y/w-d-xo.html
I think and I hope House is the canon ending. I think after the destruction of Shady Sands, the NCR tried yet again to conquer Vegas and take the dam and the NCR were further weakened by the conflict. And House likely lost a many of his allies, such as the three families as well as a large amount of his securitrons. Maybe House is in a sort of powerless state, were he is unable to do pretty much anything, and Hank in season 2 finds a way to reawaken him.
I too believe this is the canon ending. NCR probably tried to take Vegas but it wasn't going as planned and with all their problems they had to retreat at some point (maybe after the nuking of shady sands) but left the strip in pretty bad shape
House Ending is definitely an option. But an ending where the Courier failed (basically an ending in which you die during playthrough) would be interesting. As this would mean the Battle for the Mojave is still going. And considering the Enclave still exists and is powerful enough to have Cold Fusion Reactors, means the Enclave could also appear as another enemy. They accepted Project Purity in the Capital Wasteland due to the distance and the Western Branch of the Enclave almost fully destroyed. But losing tech for a 2nd time would too much for them too accept. They may send a hunting party to the Mojave to ensure no more of their tech is used again.
I think people are forgetting about the Tunnelers from Lonesome Road. They are probably the most serious threat to come to Vegas after The Second Battle of Hover Dam.
I did think of them too, but I doubt they would be included in the show. If anything, the outro at the end of episode 8 hints at a deathclaw infestation at Vegas, knowing how the deathclaw is much more iconic, they can also go with that instead of the tunnelers.
And yet we don't see anything related to them in the show at all. Just a bunch of deathclaw skulls. To me it looks more like the deathclaws raided the strip and rampaged throughout the area.
My friends and I were thinking they'll go with the Mr house ending. But last night high af I thought what if they did the yes man ending. Also they need to tell us if 6 gave the power to the strip or the region.
@CouchPatroll if am being honest, it could be anyone as you can choose your gender in the game and even the game rewards you by being bisexual, so.... it literally don't matter but I would prefer him/her to be like a dude who never gets his or her helmet off and just keeps up wondering who that guy might be. It would be cooler that way and you just don't make any specific courier canon imo
@@theconspiracyguy6993 I keep seeing articles about Aaron joining the Fallout cast, idk if it'd be as the courier though, It may not be a good idea to add the protagonist of the game as a character, since every player has his/her own version, best to keep him out of this In my honest opinion.
I'll be honest, I would be SHOCKED if the NCR wasn't a massive part of this series. First, we realize the NCR isn't around LA, then we learn Shady Sands is gone (but also confirms that the capital was long moved), then the theme plays as Lucy sees the NCR flag for the first time, then the Vault encounters with refugees and finally we were left off with New Vegas, which was the NCRs was last known place they were pushing. Not to mention the NCR powered an entire city at the end of S1. The entirety of the first season was a setup for the NCR and won the battle to get the infinite energy. There is no way they spent hours on this setup just to reveal that the NCR is destroyed.
I think so as well, as I said in the video though, I think they are going for an underdog story where they slowly re-gain power and become a major player in the coming events, I don't think we will see them as a big player straight of in season 2, but I could be wrong, either way, the NCR is coming back, that's for sure! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
We all know Hank isn't running right back into the hands of the NCR, who he just got away from😅, so the best bet is he's running to one of his business partners, which we all know who controls the the stip, which is Mr.House
The whole shady sands twist has me puzzled. They are acting like almost all of the population of the ncr was at shady sands. Most of the military was spread through the 5 faction states that made up the ncr. Major presences around and in new vegas of ncr military. Ultimately shady sands was at most a 20 percent loss of people but less so of its military. Hopefully season 2 clarifies what happens at hoover dam. I was thinking the courier or ulysses decided to nuke the ncr from the divide but they went a different way with that.
@@mrbreck1 The "fall of Shady Sands" stuff is pretty telling. New Vegas makes clear that even by 2281, the NCR despite its size was dividing and stretched too thin. Losing and/or nuking their capital may not kill the majority but it would be a good way to go about throwing the scattered battalions into chaos. Notice how the only "NCR" we see in season one might as well be another band of raiders operating unto itself. What I love about this is it's the *exact* fate that so many characters in NV predict for the Legion after the death of Caesar.
Why would Hank be running to the NCR, when he just got away from them😂, it was the NCR that captured him due to his crime of blowing up Shady Sands, it makes more sense that Hank is going to visit one of his business partners, Mr.House.
I think the House Ending makes the most sense. It explains the NCRs decline, Hanks interest in New Vegas, and a likely connection to help Cooper find his wife and daughter. Plus since No one in the game actually likes house it makes it easier to create discord against him which ruins his vision for Vegas
I do state something similar in the video, bethesda and east coast are going way too far with the apocalypse..civilization should be back to some degree, makes everything more interesting.
I prefer it that way. My biggest issue with fnv was how it didnt feel like a post apocalyptic role playing game. Im desperate to get back to the more desolate hopeless feelings of early fallout like fo1 my beloved.
@@amymorgan886 I think the game should have both tbh, It should have the growing factions and pieces of civilization, but it should also have the dark desolate feeling when in between those settlements.
Did you ever side with yes man? Even if you really try there will still be lots of chaos in and around Vegas. If the Ncr won and then got nuked that would have caused chaos etc….
Yes-Man feels like the most neutral ending for the show, possibly without upgrading the securitron army. It leaves the most amount of the courier's actions unspecified. My headcanon is the House is alive but disconnected from the network and Yes-Man's programming has fallen into ruin since the courier left. Hank is going to confront Yes-Man and plug House back into the system to get more info on the Enclave which seems set up to be prominent group in season 2.
i actually like where this is going, disabling his Cerebral cortex the turning it back on, compared to NCR with disabling it then someone else would finish the job.
Personally, I believe that the NCR won the second battle for the Hoover Dam and shortly after the NCR got the News about Shady Sands, I think the story is setting up a reform period for the Republic, plus now that the NCR has given power back to all of LA, I'm interested to see what they do with this storyline moving forward, plus one side note from the video is that the population of the NCR is probably way higher than 700k as that was the population of them when they only controlled SoCal, it is probably closer to over a million by now
And most definitely more as Baja was part of them too (I suppose but wouldn't surprise me if they are indeed there too) and we don't know if arroyo is part of the NCR as well (I mean, why wouldn't the NCR tried to get that place? Just because tandi was friends with the chosen one and vault dweller? What about the other presidents after her? It is not so far fetch), also, new Reno and vault city might be part of the NCR and they weren't exactly small, same with San Fran, so even by cutting the bears head, you still have more places that can make the NCR a thing but very wearing and most definitely in odds with all that land they covered
@@TheinvisibleTV19 I think lore wise all of Northern and Southern California is under NCR control, new Reno remains independent I believe but NCR basically controls the surrounding areas
@@Tonius126 I mean we don’t know, at this point we either have the NCR ending or the House ending since the Nuking of Shady Sands happened after the Events of new Vegas
@prezmeji5641 it wouldn't surprise me if New Reno is part of the NCR as well and still keep the families around as the main "presidents" of sorts because of how greedy the NCR were in NV, but, they remaining independent doesn't surprise either as they have power back then and influence to the extent of manipulating Vault City and parts of NCR in Fallout 2. Still, they can use arroyo or parts of Baja as bases for remnants from the NCR or keeping those cities together after the bomb of shady sands, you can cut the head of a nation but there always be air in the other limbs.
My feelings say that the Mr.House ending is right. It is just when Mr.House attempted to extort the NCR. The NCR did what they said and decided to attack New Vegas. The NCR obviously got really messed up, but Mr.House might of had something to do with Shady Sands being destroyed. We know Hank had a big role in it, but House isn't ruled out and we can assume that House would have contact to the vaults. So it is fair to say that is why Hank is heading for New Vegas. He probably never realized House was under that hard of an attack.
My theory is that the cannon ending is the ncr one (maybe without killing mr house) and due to defeating the legion and securing the mojave, they moved to a new capital which would be near the new territories thus creating the 'symbolism' of the (political) fall of shady sands start after the first battle of the hoover dam. So the NCR would still be a thing somewhere between shady sands and the colorado river while thw brotherhood at lost hills was calling back troops from other chapters and establishing themselves in the coast of california but depending a lot on the (former) east coast BoS (I hope Elder Maxson is now High Elder Maxson)
The BoS are survivors (mainly due to plot armor). They are a faction set up before the bombs dropped, have a tendency to collect the best toys, and Ad Victorium. I can see them absorbing elements of Caesars Legion.
With his appearance in the TV show, his involvement with Vault-Tec, and that New Vegas is somewhat still standing (mainly the Lucky 38). I believe House is still around and that he is part of the reason as to why Lucy's dad Hank headed to Vegas. As for the fate of Vegas, since the show runners aren't going to use any of the in-game endings, I think they'll at least fudge it so Mr. House can remain alive. From a speculation angle from seeing Vegas in the end credits and that in TV series canon the NCR capitol of Shady Sands was vaporized (At least a good portion) I speculate that once word got to the NCR stationed in Vegas about the fall of Shady Sands, they tried to take over Vegas in a desperate attempt. This could've caused a chain reaction were other factions started fighting for control and would fit in with Hank's speech to Lucy about factions. The factions wiped each other out on the Strip and any survivors escaped to the smaller settlements outside the Strip as we do see campfire smoke rising from a few of them. This leaves Mr. House as the only living sole left in his beloved city and possibly open for agreements in helping Hank or not if Lucy can get to him first and convince House otherwise. From my own perspective, I'm hoping the show will do more justice for Mr. House instead of turning him into a greedy capitalist that was for Vault- Tec dropping the bombs. I'm hoping it'll turn out that he was smart and insightful enough to conclude that the dropping of the nukes wouldn't be from Pre-war Americas enemies and that the reason he was at the meeting was to confirm his suspicions and counter act Vault-Tecs plan to save Vegas. I think it would be a good addition as to why the platinum chip was delayed would be due to Vault-Tec intervention because they figured out Mr. House used them for his own advantage by playing along.
You can nuke shady sands at the end of the long road dlc I'm surprised more people haven't talked about this, it's very possible courier #6 is the one who destroyed both the legion and ncr
yep and since our main villain is propably heading New Vegas it's a guaranteed possibility plus what did we have in fallout 76? Oh yeah more silos with the overseer of that vault 76 knowing of their existence...
you nuked the “long” I-15, but just by the border at Mojave Chapter…though interesting if Shady Sands is along I-15 like real life Barstow or Victorville
IF they are careful with New Vegas I am willing to cut them slack, because so far they went the responsible way with the series. They will have to be careful and just be kinda quick about it, so they are gone before the audience really knows they were there.
The NCR is alive and kicking. Somewhere. Maybe even Legion is still around to a minor extent. I just can't see them being given much airtime. But why do they even *have* to mention past events in a canonical fashion? "There was a major battle over Hoover dam" but they could leave out how it went. Or "several factions fought over the control over the Mohave" ... Clearly New Vegas has fallen and that would be explained (probably death claws), but canon ending to NV the game don't actually *have* to be mentioned. Making all endings a possibility. It's a TV show. I expect lore mistakes to be made despite best intentions not to, and I'll probably be quite forgiving about it. Depends I guess - Mothership Zeta being run by Tunnel Snakes would be too much. 😂If they *do* make an ending canon, I'm going with Mr. House only because he was featured in the show and Hank is looking for someone there. Both with ties to Vault Tec. But based on his lines, he might not be as bad as he's been portrayed until now. Just like Moldaver and The Ghoul. As for the other NV factions (except Brotherhood, NCR, and Legion), I doubt they'll be given more time than some random encounters. (note that I'm not *too* well versed in Fallout lore, I came in at FO3, FONV, and FO4 and stopped there)
I think it would make sense to hint at who won at the very least, due to the repercussions of that battle. Hah, but yes I agree with your comment! I came in around fo3 too! I don't know 76 lore either, not at all interested in that. :/
Ncr wins the hover dam but spread too thin so house tooks over is the most logical think because mr house is an opportunist he would just wait for the perfect opportunity
On that much I agree, but that's a big if, it's been a long while since the events of Vegas so..we will have to wait and see, hope we get at least a glimpse of the Legion though!
Considering how New Vegas looked in the Tv show, I’d say it’s either a house ending or NCR ending. Houses win could explain why just about everything fell apart aside from the lucky 38. As far as the NCR ending goes I think they take Vegas and fail to keep it after the destruction of Shady Sands, as Tod Howard did say Shady was nuked just after New Vegas.
NCR kept on pressing House. Hank comes to House and requests his help with nuking Shady Sands. House views this as a way to knock the NCR down a peg. House assists hank. NCR has some idea of House's involvement and went to war in New Vegas. And now Hank is returning, seeking further assistance.
Just finished season one. The date given for Shady Sands' destruction leads me to believe this is an alternate continuity which may or may not be corrected later in the series. If Shady Sands actually had been destroyed in 2277, you would think there would be some mention of it in Fallout: New Vegas, which is set four years later. Furthermore, some dialogue later in the season seems to imply that some time travel shenanigans may be going on. It's also heavily implied, based on what we see, that it was the whole NCR that got nuked, not just Shady Sands. People in California shouldn't be living like we see them living if the NCR is still whole and functioning. As for New Vegas, without the NCR, Mr. House couldn't have piggybacked off of its economy, nor located the platinum chip and had it delivered to him. With the NCR crippled or destroyed, and Mr. House unable to upgrade, the Legion would have overrun the Mojave Wasteland only to fall apart after Caesar's death. In short, everybody lost. On top of that, depending on whether Mr. House ended up collaborating with Vault-Tec or if he went his own way, Vault-Tec may have destroyed New Vegas as well so as to eliminate another potential rival.
Hi, it is not an alternate continuity, I state as much in the video, the showrunners confirmed, the bomb dropped after the events of new vegas, and the year given was to show when the faction started falling off politically, which does make sense based on things we hear in New Vegas, they are a failing state by that point.. I do agree we could end up with a "everybody lost" kind of situation though.
An issue with going back to new vegas is that they will have to address some of the events from the game. A huge part of fallout is storytelling through the environment and its history.
Wouldn't that be a sight! Surprised you are commenting on so many of our videos, interested in a lot of things we are I see, really cool! I also sometimes make fan tributes and stuff, maybe you will find those cool too, cheers!
I hope you have made a different assumption since this video because technically Fallout 3 includes the enclave, The brotherhood, Aliens, outcast brotherhood(Yes it is it's own faction) And Slavers both from Paradise Falls and The Pitt and also the institution during the synth/Android quest within rivet City and if you put it in terms of time span progression would be considerably different after the lone wanderer of vault 101's canonical ending
I think the Enclave and its Remnants may play a big role. Specially considering the Enclave still exist, and the fact they can still produce Cold Fusion Reactors probably means they have regained a lot of their former power.
The canon ending to New Vegas is The Legion takes the dam, but not New Vegas itself, and pushes the NCR out of the region. But none of it matters because in the long run history won't remember it as a singular event but instead how the dam changed hands multiple times over a short period of time until The Legion eventually collapsed.
There was a cut ending of New Vegas that can be restored with mods where House will sign a treaty with NCR. Also tunnelers from The Divide could be an answer.
@@CouchPatroll the tunnelers are damn weak compare to deathclaws i think that the deathclaw population went unchecked but also gives me another question what happened to black mountion if nothing happened to black mountion then the super mutants may able to stop the deathclaw population for a bit
I think a combination of the NCR and Mr. House endings make the most sense. The NCR would have been weakened from the battle for Hoover Dam and in no position to annex New Vegas, they could have tried to do so out of greed and lost. I think isolated Legion groups still exist and some of them easily could have joined the Brotherhood of Steel.
I am really hoping that there's no canon ending in new vegas or any references to any of the endings to support the choices that the players made The fate of new vegas in season 2 should rely more on the events after the ending(s) of fallout new vegas
Lanius could still be around. We know that what he actually craves is just violence. With Caesar gone, he takes over the Legion, and they just become even more ruthless. Less organized, but far more violent and destructive. Also would make for a formidable enemy. So far The Ghoul has been able to take on anyone. But Lanius would definitely give The Ghoul a hard fight.
Here is my theory: NCR ending was the canon ending. They took control of the Hoover dam and New Vegas and somehow incapacitated House to gain control of the Securitrons. Shady Sans is bombed and the frontiers of the republic sink back into wasteland anarchy (this is backed up by the end credits showing a supposed death law attack and a breached NV), essentially repeating what happened to House right after the war. McClane travels to New Vegas to seek House’s aid and “resurrects” him. But House plans to betray him once he has enough manpower to retake Vegas once and for all; now that the legion is gone and the NCR is too crippled to militarily approach in any meaningful capacity
The only way they can do it the way th way Bethesda said they were going too is if all endings are "cannon" and what I mean it's unk9qn house or yesman won, the ncr daughter legion at vegas wtc
I think the only person that would survive regardless of ending would be Yes Man. And it's not hard to see that anyone including Hank can use him to basically restart House's robots. As for who blew up New Vegas, I'm going with the Boomers as all the factions wanted to use the Boomers so they most likely would have survived as well, and they would have every reason to want to blow up New Vegas for no other reason than just to see it explode. It's not the Courier's smartest move to give people with an explosives fetish a bomber, and even if the Courier refused to do it, they would have eventually gotten around to doing it as they already had everything they needed to raise it anyway.
Stop thinking like a gamer. To keep all canon endings intact, whoever controlled Vegas was wiped out as you can see in the shot of new Vegas. Vegas is ruins. Most likely the enclave who is always the secret mastermind behind everything in fallout
Hah Ironically, I'm a film maker by trade. :D The logical thing is to take a few endings and re-mix them for the show, adding in original content, still, since they are coming back to the same location, they should at the very least aknowledge past events (not because it makes sense to, but because this is a tv show for a popular franchise that people care about, and the writers/showrunner know this) , Vegas was in ruins in the events of the game too, only the strip was somewhat saved, the only thing they showed was there is no power..which could be due to hoover dam being destroyed after the events of new vegas, and also oddly enough in the post credit scenes, they showed fighting took place in the streets.. there are so many ways the story can move forward, it's fun to speculate, cheers for the comment!
I’ll say though we don’t know that’s the Prydwyn. The alluded to other airships in FO4, and it would seem strange for the west coast brotherhood to speak of receiving a transmission from the East coast chapter about the escaped enclave scientist if they were physically present.
Hello there! You can actually see the name of the ship in the show, I think they sent the ship as support, it would also explain how the Eastern chapter has this model of power armor.
@@CouchPatroll Oh snap. I guess I’m blind. I just assumed they were retconning the T-51 and T-45s out as the west coast BOS’s main power armor. I suppose that would also help explain how the BOS was able to capitalize so strongly on Shady Sands being nuked.
Y'know? There's a very slim chance that the independent vegas could be canon as yes man says about getting an upgrade of sorts and then we dont know what happened, I wouldn't surprise me if house always had like a back up plan of sorts that can keep him around even after his death because a man that smart I highly doubt that he could never see his own mortality as an ecuation to keep an eye on, so, that could make house to "appear" without actually being there. And still, even by going with the others endings it doesn't mean anything (yet) because hank knew about house and his importance with the end of the qorld and such, so, of course hank will be more interesting in tne technology of house instead of house himself to which can make any ending canon (for now) because hank isn't trying to outright reach out to house instead it would be his technology, but if I am been honest, it is most definitely that the house always wins. And even be house winning that makes a little sense as we all see how the state of new vegas looked like in the show and it was a very poor place but vegas seems normal, that goes in par with what house was promising to the courier as he had the intention to rebuild ONLY vegas and not its surroundings, and we can "see" it in some restoration mods that showcase how house started to rebuild the city, not only that but the independent makes everything a caos and with the "virus" that house can have in his own programs I do belive it can make sense but time will tell
Either a mix of Independent and House. Courier 6 in both wouldn’t stay in Vegas for to long before wondering the roads again. That would leave leave yesman/house in whatever state it becomes NCR wouldn’t back down from keeping Vegas which probably collapsed the region. House is either dead or in a useless state
Caesars Legion wins, but shortly after, Caesar dies and it splits into two or three successor states. Civil war ensues and with most of the fighting happening in the core territories to the east, New Vegas is abandoned.
Any one of the 4 endings could happen and work with the show. NCR would have been destabilized after the fall of shady sands and the residents of the casinos might have wanted to take back over causing a civil war. Caesars Legion would work if Lanius took Vegas then left to consolidate power. Caesar himself would have wanted to stay in NV so I find this to be the least likely of the endings. Mr. House would have relied on the NCR for political muscle, revenue and legitimacy. Without the NCR House may not have been able to maintain his hold on Vegas with just his securotrons despite their upgrade. And I can totally see Yes-man running the place into the ground. Or it could be an entirely different reason that has caused NV to have its lights off. OR Lucies dad is the courier and he nuked shady sands from the divide, lol that would be....something. Either way NV is not gone the way shady sands is so the devastation might not be quite as bad as we are being led to believe. I mean IRL Vegas is in the middle of the desert and we all know that without power and water it would not remain habitable on its own. MAYBE something happened to hoover dam that caused the city to become abandoned. But that is my 2 cents
Not a legion fan but without courier intervention Legion would have won the battle for the dam. also they make it somewhat clear that the ncr doesn't exist or is divided in the show and this would make sense if they lost a large power source and massive amounts of forces. Ceasar dying would mean nothing since like mr house put it, they would want to take the dam in his honor anyway. There's no way this would effect the legion entirely since both the military forces and spy networks are lead by two capable people who will still go along with these plans either way. They also have turned many of the factions in the Mojave against the NCR, who btw cant even defend against ants on the roads. Also house would lose the chip if not for the courier intervention as well, which would mean he wouldnt have a strong enough force to hold back the legion and other factions after the ncr is defeated. Benny is also reckless and would inevitably be caught and the chip taken by the legion as it does in the game. Ceasars legion is the logical answer and it would explain why vegas looks dead in the show.
Well.. We will see soon enough, I stated my thoguhts on the legion based on real history..if say, the germans won ww2 (It was never really possiblle but lets say they did) after H's death, the german regime would have changed over time.. just like back in the day, the roman politics shifted, each dictator regime sort of dies with it's dictator, human nature just works that way, otherwise we'd live in a very different world.
I do not believe the Legion would fully die as an entity. A power vaccuum may just happen and kinda parallel the civil wars of Rome. Until a new Caesar is chosen to lead the Legion.
I think either mr house or yes man won but only the battle but they lost the war after the battle that’s why you see ncr planes crashed into the ground at new Vegas because of they were looking for the courier and mr house
I really don't think they'd go with the ending that kills off most characters though. In the case of fallout 4, what seems to have happend, is they went with the Minutemen ending, which is the only one that has most factions survive..apart from the Institute of course. The Elder ending is so grim, it's a good guess but I hope you're not right, it'd feel like a wasted opportunity to me.
Yes man is the canon ending its makes sence, we deactivated mr house not killed him sided with yesman and reprogramed himself to make him a conscious being. My guess is he needs the power from the strip to do so hence why it looks dead when hank turns up. Hank will seek houses help and reactivate him not relising yesman is under the strip waking up after 15 years off reprogramming. Hank and mr house hade ties before the bombs hit and proberly hade a part to play in tye bombing off shady sands, its the only explanation why hank is going to new vegas. Its been 15 years since the events off the courier and new vegas so god knows what happened inbetween the ending off new vegas and the shows timeline. They wouldnt show mr house if he wasnt going to be in season 2 but i honestly think yesman would be a much better storyline for the show.
I honestly doubt that the courier would be mentioned in any way in the show, and the yes man ending is heavily tied to him/her. It would make for a cool story but overall yes man is a far more boring character next to Mr House
i think it would be funny if they build all this hype up and then they go to the lucky 38 and yes man is just sitting there to completely dumbfound us all
The only thing cannon in new Vegas is. The carrier got shot in the head. Everything else is player choice on what factions live, what factions die, everything
i dont see why they would let mr house out of cryo, only to have his shii pushed back. i think they are gunna go with a totally different route than any game ending u can think of
You also failed to Mention that NCR Rangers Decended from Texas Rangers which means there's open possibilities for A Larger But Divided(By distance) Military
I highly doubt they will go with the one that destroys all factions, having one where you keep most intact would make more sence for the long term franchise, that way they can use them later on if they wish..
This might be the best Fallout thing they've been a part of, and it's not even their writing. I do like Fallout 3 though, what is your favorite fallout?
My raw bet is House and the hidden bunker BoS survived, co-operates with each other and help settlements nearby. Expanding on that.. yes NCR have a spare bear head😂 So they ARE around due to say a political nuclear bomb. And the yellow+red🟡🔴 BoS flag may indeed indicate the Western BoS assimilated a decimated Legion OR just happens to be a different chapter. I would wish for the Mid Western but they are in around Chicago. So maybe Minnesota, redesign only for the sake of it or... well.. a retconned Texas BoS from the dreaded BoS arcedey game😅
Hahah, Great comment! Thanks for being a part of the conversation! Man I really do believe we will see Chicago in the next Fallout game, or in a future season of the show, there are so many mentions of it in the last games!
I feel like the courier ending is canon as house would have been able to control the battle and would be able to predict a post battle contrary to the courier plus I prefer the yes man ending as it would give so much agency to all the pkayers that would be great to see
There are like 5 that would be considered for this counting dlc though hah the details of what happens to each character and factions are not things we would see in the show, they would stay as far away as possible from those but big things like who took Vegas are harder to avoid..
It's generally much more grim and there are far fewer cities and operating factions, diamond city is a single stadium, how can it compare to the boneyard, vegas, and now rip but shady sands? In part, one of the best fallout 4 features is to blame for this, the settlement building. I love the Bethesda games too, but things are generally worse on the east coast imo, thanks for sharing your thoughts!
@@CouchPatrollimo they definitely have to talk about him. They can't just talk about him in passing like "yeah one this guy showed and took over everything funny guy😀" like nah we need to see him or maybe Raul or one of his companions are looking for him like Liara in the newest mass effect trailer. It'd be neat to see his companions looking for him.
@@CouchPatroll I wouldn't mind it they need to mask their voice though which showing how brotherhood armor works their advance riot armor could do the same thing. Rather keep the identity a secret behind the mask cause its our player character and they are how we create them.
Hi guys, I made a new video discussing which characters from the series are likely to appear in season 2 for anyone interested! th-cam.com/video/0vId0drm91Y/w-d-xo.html

YES MAN THE BEST!
DIPLOMATIC? WE CAN DO THİS WITH OUR BRILLANT SPEECH?
THE WAR? WE CAN FIGHT BETTER THAN BOS EVEN WE HAVE WORSE GUNS THAN THEM
I think people are forgetting about the Tunnelers from Lonesome Road. They are probably the most serious threat to come to Vegas after The Second Battle of Hover Dam.
Nah tunnelers are overrated i think mr house can clean them
I did think of them too, but I doubt they would be included in the show.
@@ClintOrris why you must show every single thing in season one ??
@CouchPatroll a deathclaw skull could just as likely mean tunnelers they hunt deathclaws
My friends and I were thinking they'll go with the Mr house ending. But last night high af I thought what if they did the yes man ending. Also they need to tell us if 6 gave the power to the strip or the region.
At the end, the courier used helios as a weapon stolen from the kid instead of any parts of the region XD
I hope they go with Mr House, just because he is a very interesting character, killing him off would be a big loss. :/
@@CouchPatroll yeah I want house on screen it'd be really cool to get more mr. house dialouge
plottwist: the courier decided to do funny enclave and reunified america in the mojave
Imagine that, who would you cast as the Courier? :D
@@CouchPatroll Arnold Schwarzenegger
@@CouchPatrollAaron Paul since he loves new Vegas
There were going down in baja california chasing ghosts at the same time i guess
We all know Hank isn't running right back into the hands of the NCR, who he just got away from😅, so the best bet is he's running to one of his business partners, which we all know who controls the the stip, which is Mr.House
I think the NCR ending makes the most sense, as you said, they can win and then be brought the bad news from shady sands, cool video!
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Nah, Vegas just fell apart because Fallout is Mad Max now.
@@CouchPatroll i can get behind that
Did you ever side with yes man?
So like that house is dead then? No way, they are getting rid of him when he had that great cameo.
Elijah launched bombs filled with the cloud.
DUST MOD 4 THE WIN
You don’t nuke SS
you nuked the “long” I-15, but just by the border at Mojave Chapter…though interesting if Shady Sands is along I-15 like real life Barstow or Victorville
The enclave's potential for the future seasons kinds scare me
it be interesting if they incorporate ED-E storyline instead of going to Navarro, being routed to a different Enclave area
IF they are careful with New Vegas I am willing to cut them slack, because so far they went the responsible way with the series. They will have to be careful and just be kinda quick about it, so they are gone before the audience really knows they were there.
I completely agree! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! What character would you like to see in season 2?
The city would not be in that condition if House is around.
Ncr wins the hover dam but spread too thin so house tooks over is the most logical think because mr house is an opportunist he would just wait for the perfect opportunity
Agreed! How do you feel about him being the main antagonist in season 2 though? If they go that route?
@@CouchPatroll he will be the best villain ever if they make him good
@@Muncuq Agreed!
I think if Lanius is alive then it's inevitable that at least a minor amount of devote legionaires will still be around following his orders
House wouldn't nuke shady Sanda. The NCR are his best customers.
If they do show Hoover Dam i hope we see Courier 6 in the background taking 200 bullets like a sponge
This just highlights one of my biggest gripes about new vegas. You have to kill house for every ending that isn't the mr house ending.
Yeah that's one of the things I dislike too.
I think the Enclave and its Remnants may play a big role.
Specially considering the Enclave still exist, and the fact they can still produce Cold Fusion Reactors probably means they have regained a lot of their former power.
Maybe the Enclave is hidden in the mountains near Jacobstown?
The canon ending to New Vegas is The Legion takes the dam, but not New Vegas itself, and pushes the NCR out of the region.
But none of it matters because in the long run history won't remember it as a singular event but instead how the dam changed hands multiple times over a short period of time until The Legion eventually collapsed.
thats a good one but dont forget about the soler place
You just straight up ignored that yes man exists, usually the canon ending is the most one you can’t be locked out of
Yeah, I just don't think the ending relying the most on the courier would be picked but I may be wrong of course
There was a cut ending of New Vegas that can be restored with mods where House will sign a treaty with NCR. Also tunnelers from The Divide could be an answer.
I don't think it's going to be the tunnelers tbh, they may re mix that story and make it be deathclaws instead though..
@@CouchPatroll the tunnelers are damn weak compare to deathclaws i think that the deathclaw population went unchecked but also gives me another question what happened to black mountion if nothing happened to black mountion then the super mutants may able to stop the deathclaw population for a bit
Man, it would be sad if House was just a footnote in the tv series.
I would like a very blasé courrier 6 with an impressive amount of stuff in his presidential suite. Other than that, I'm with you!
All I know is I better see hank take a shortcut through quarry junction
Hah, that would be a fun watch for sure!
Yeah, it makes the most sense to me too!
“The house always win”. It’s honestly the best choice for story purposes too.
Though I hope we hear of Caesar or the Legate.
Mr House is confirmed alive
I am really hoping that there's no canon ending in new vegas or any references to any of the endings to support the choices that the players made
The fate of new vegas in season 2 should rely more on the events after the ending(s) of fallout new vegas
A "cannon" is a large gunpowder weapon that fires projectiles in a ballistic arc across great distances. That's what's "cannon"...
I'm glad someone finally noticed this. hahahah
@@CouchPatroll Cheers!
I hope it's the anarchy ending. It was my favorite.
Anarchy ending seems to be the one they are going for unless it's the other way around mr house would be badass to see in the show
I’ll say though we don’t know that’s the Prydwyn.
You know what would be crazy if all of the endings happened and New Vegas was just abandoned for years at this point
Only machines in new vegas after yes man got his upgrade. Then he took over. Is my theory
It'd be more interesting if it was like what happened in DUST.
That would also be interesting!
The Yes Man Ending works and we can still meet mr House. Albeit just... You know...
@@CouchPatroll yeah they will change ofc but they would win without courier intervention is what im saying
I want Yes Man ending is canon so I hope everything would be like in fallout dust
Might be yes man with no courier six to guide him why everything that went bad
I wondered about the Elder ending of dead money, the red mist wiping out everyone?
It would be sick if the courier made it in season 2
Who would you cast for him or her?
@@CouchPatroll The courier only shows up as a picture in full ranger gear in a sexy pose in Yes Man's / House's private room.
All i know is, they better swing hard or wallow in their failure.
i think it would be funny if they build all this hype up and then they go to the lucky 38 and yes man is just sitting there to completely dumbfound us all
The only thing cannon in new Vegas is. The carrier got shot in the head. Everything else is player choice on what factions live, what factions die, everything
In season 2 I want a song singed by Yes Man roosting the Courier, saying how he was the bigges douchebag of the whole wasteland
Hahah, that would be hilarious!
Imagine they pull up to Vegas expecting house and get yes man 😂
i dont see why they would let mr house out of cryo, only to have his shii pushed back. i think they are gunna go with a totally different route than any game ending u can think of
It's possible, but the events of new vegas still took place, and they to some degree should matter I think..
You also failed to Mention that NCR Rangers Decended from Texas Rangers which means there's open possibilities for A Larger But Divided(By distance) Military
Rip nuka break
I think that most probably the ending of Lonesome road where you nuke both factions is canon.
I highly doubt they will go with the one that destroys all factions, having one where you keep most intact would make more sence for the long term franchise, that way they can use them later on if they wish..
The only thing we really need is fisto in Season 2.
😏😏
Bathesda are just annoyed they havent made any good fallout games
This might be the best Fallout thing they've been a part of, and it's not even their writing. I do like Fallout 3 though, what is your favorite fallout?
Yeah, Bethesda might be annoyed that they're raking in cash now. 😅
“the wasteland progresses” fucking ironic with how they treat the lore
Yeah, I find it kinda dumb, coz as I said, the east coast has nothing going on.
Yes Man ending is basically Mr. House ending but good guys win so I think I has a chance to be canon.
>Good Guys win
But Legion didn't win in that scenario ?
Wait, shit, that IS Kimball. RIP
Hah, yep, guess he got back in shady sands just in time for the fireworks.
has to be house.. These no way they introduces him as a character just for him to be Dead immediately when season 2 starts
I agree! It would be such a waste otherwise..
Courier dies in Goodsprings. That's the canon ending.
Cannon fire projectile
Cheers for catching that typo, I left it in for the lolz. :D
The House always wins!!!
im gonna bust if mr house will make the show
Hate the entire concept of a canon ending. It's an exercise in imagination, gang, there's no correct answer (except for "two bears high fiving.")
Can you just say “……you killed my father, now prepare to die?” Please
Haha, because of my accent?
Mr house is Batman Jesus may Bethesda be kind on him
The House always wins.
cannons shoot explosives projectiles, answered your question. your welcome.
Thank you kindly! I was waiting for people to spot the typo, I found it funny enough to leave it and wait for the answers. hah
I feel like the courier ending is canon as house would have been able to control the battle and would be able to predict a post battle contrary to the courier plus I prefer the yes man ending as it would give so much agency to all the pkayers that would be great to see
What's canon for Fallout 4 for that matter.
Based on the Prydwen, it's the BoS ending most likely.
Which ending theirs over 1 trillion btw
There are like 5 that would be considered for this counting dlc though hah the details of what happens to each character and factions are not things we would see in the show, they would stay as far away as possible from those but big things like who took Vegas are harder to avoid..
How can you talk about large cities and not mention Diamond City, The Pitt or Filly? There is shit going on East Coast its just condensed.
I think the boomers are still just in the Nellis Air Force Base.
I think it's possible as well!
Yes man ending
I think the Boomers will play a big part ngl
Oh really? Care to share more of your thoughts on how?
nah anarchy courier ending is canon
Hahah, How would you feel about the Courier being a character in the tv show?
@@CouchPatrollimo they definitely have to talk about him. They can't just talk about him in passing like "yeah one this guy showed and took over everything funny guy😀" like nah we need to see him or maybe Raul or one of his companions are looking for him like Liara in the newest mass effect trailer. It'd be neat to see his companions looking for him.
@@CouchPatroll I wouldn't mind it they need to mask their voice though which showing how brotherhood armor works their advance riot armor could do the same thing.
Rather keep the identity a secret behind the mask cause its our player character and they are how we create them.
