- Hey everyone:) we just did a performance in Chiang Mai. With the help of our good friend John we were about to shoot a killer video of one of our favorite songs “Unchained Melody” by the righteous brothers. Hope you enjoy the performance:)

"Unchained Melody" was NOT "by" the Righteous Brothers. They, like many others, just did a cover version, which was released in 1965. The song was originally performed by Todd Duncan in the 1955 movie "Unchained" (hence the title). This song is, by the way, one of the most covered songs in pop music, especially given its origin as a piece from a sound track of a movie that hardly anyone has seen.
Yesterday I'd never heard of the Chapman stick. Now I'm hooked; and on Cascade. Thanks for the music.

Have watched and enjoyed many of your videos now. Have never heard of Chapman Sticks before seeing you perform. Are they effected pitch wise by temperature? I make flutes and they are, temps sharpen and flatten with temp changes.
They are a bit temperamental with temperature changes. we always try to avoid direct sunlight on the front board because it throws the instrument out of tune. Extreme cold isn’t too good either. 😅
You can still play the Chapman stick in those conditions. You just have to tune more frequently.

How long do you work on a song. They are so beautiful
That depends, some songs are a bit simpler than others, but to really perfect them and play them emotionally and fluently It takes a few weeks.:)
