    Story 1: Karen: *complains about how her boyfriend left her, she can't afford her rent and needs alone time away from her kids after I refuse to babysit for her*
    Me: So when do you think you'll be moving away?
    Story 2: Sadly I've heard of instances like this where a thief will accuse their mark of stealing from them then getting the police involved to 'get it back'. I remember hearing a story where a guy had his car stolen because a lady called the cops and accused him of stealing it, all while saying to his face before she called that he was too young to own such a nice car and that he must have stolen it. The cop who sided with the thief ended up losing his job or something, and the woman was eventually arrested though the car had already been stripped down for parts. And I agree with another commenter who said that the cops should have seen to this woman being escorted off of OP's property in this instance.
    Story 3: "Like, abandoning your own child, only to come back years later demanding what they think they deserve."
    Sounds to me like all they deserve is a giant middle finger.
    Story 4: If anyone came in close to close bitching about losing Airpods and refusing to leave until we found them, she wouldn't have been the one calling the cops. I have no tolerance for that kind of shit, so I would have called them, telling them we have someone who is tresspassing and refusing to leave the store after we offered to take her info in the event we find them. Also, don't just let your 4 year old child/grandchild play with your expensive airpods because they're bored and you can't be bothered to deal with her boredom.

      @HappilyHomicidalHooligan ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@gothgirl4evr881 Under normal circumstances, contact through a Lawyer would Violate the RO...
      However, IF they're initiating Contact via a Lawyer due to current/pending Litigation, it's allowed because when 2 Parties are involved in Litigation (Lawsuit/Trial etc.), they MUST be able to pass information/Evidence/Affidavits between each other and the Lawyers will NOT allow the passage of information not relevant to the Case or that could even remotely be construed as Harassing/Threatening etc. (or at least they'll block all such communications if they want to stay out of Jail and keep their License to Practice Law anyway)...
      Basically, if I have a No Contact RO against Karen and she Sues me, she tells her Lawyer what she wants me to know and they in turn will tell my Lawyer the message who will then tell me the message, usually by Email to prevent distortion of the information as it passes through multiple hands, her Lawyer and my Lawyer would be aware of the RO and the reasons it was granted by the Court and thus block any message or portion of the message that Karen tries to send that violate the RO unless it's relevant to the Lawsuit...and if it is relevant, they'll tell Karen that rewording the message would be wise as it currently Violates the RO and could cause issues later in the Trail/Hearing...

Then, he had the gall of demanding him his inheritance ? Daddy don't deserve a single cent. Instead, he should be made to pay back for the child support that he should have paid before OP's majority... With interests.

    Story 1: as a mom of 2 kids, how does one even fathom leaving their kids with strangers. How do you know Jeffery Dahmer or John Wayne Gacy doesn’t live next door.
    Story 3: I really hate it when parents blame their kids for ruining their lives. The kid never asked to be born. Should have used a condom. The parents also made a choice to drop out of high school. Difficult but the parents could have found a way to reach their goals or at least one could have made the sacrifice. Although my parents never said it, I know I was somewhat of a burden to my parents when I was born. My dad was 9 months away from getting his Ph.D and having a baby didn’t help. My parents still wonder why I chose to be on birth control my first 2 years of marriage.

      Story 1: Because in their minds there's no way monsters live right next to them
      Story 3: They can't accept a mistake that won't go away or benefit them in any way so they put blame on it. Not realizing that doing that still won't make anything better.
      Side Note: Your parents don't understand because it's not in their wheel of experience. Not always a bad thing, but it's a fact that our understanding of how things work or done are best understood by one's personal experience. I doubt you dropped out of school yet still found your way into college like they did, so you wouldn't understand that experience, so they wouldn't understand your choice of being on birth control because either your mother chose not to, or she couldn't for any number of reasons.

I’ve seen people like that before but I was on my way out to go do something else so I didn’t give it much thought, EXCEPT I truly wished that the people that worked there didn’t have to deal with it much longer. Since I’m a regular at that business I asked what the aftermath was and then the help that I talked to about how that turned out, the help said that her husband was a police officer and made SURE that my question was only one to back up the shop owners rights. I found it hilarious, because the entire shop (owner included) knows me by name and realizes that I would TRULY only ask such a question if I meant well for the people that worked there.
