Reframing your thoughts of needing dependency is true wisdom. I am dependent on many due to my PTSD. I relate with this a lot because I always beat myself up over it daily. Thank you for this, but none of this is your fault. We are all a product of the cards we are dealt. You are loved dearly Mark.
@@cessationofconsumerism and you're very welcome. I'm glad you could see this. Because yes, thank you, it's not my fault. And I want you to know it's also not your fault. I don't want you to be beating yourself up or blaming yourself. Because I understand the dependency. I'm glad you could see this today so you can be forgiving and kind to yourself
@@markehlert979 Yea No problem, and exactly! Sometimes we have to accept that we need help and we can’t do everything alone. I have accepted it is apart of life and my condition. Keep drumming and changing the world my friend! Everyone can see your wisdom and motivation
Preach brother!! Yesssss- sooo true- so much wisdom in your advice- thank you for being so transparent and real Mark- you are a true inspiration. Attitude is everything. We will experience things and circumstances that suck, sometimes through no fault of our own, sometimes as a result of the choices we make. Initial feelings of anger and upset are completely normal and part of what helps us to survive as humans- heck, even Jesus himself got angry at hypocrisy and flipped over a few tables :-) What you shared is so important- and I'll add to not beat yourself up for initially feeling upset over sh*tty circumstances or events- but its essential to pivot from that and take a step back, look at the big picture, cool down, and take an objective look at things. And there are times when even after all that, there is no good excuse or reason for what has hurt you. Hopefully those situations are far and few, but that is where the gift of forgiveness can go a long way. In many instances , the forgiveness is not merited, but for the sake of your own emotional well being, is necessary, because bitterness of the emotions and soul is a destroyer. There is nothing more valuable in life than inner peace. And that my friend, is how we keep it sexy 😁
@@denisegrant5150 and I truly could not have said it better! Sometimes I want to shoot the video so I can incorporate some of your comments into the content! Because yes, especially that even when you feel it's not warranted or merited, it is best to forgive so you can have that internal peace and not have to deal with this struggle that was already unnecessarily and unfairly subjected to you. and yeah, we are entitled to our emotions, for self preservation, but it's not good to sit with them. It's best to step into that rational thinking. Because that's where the sex appeal comes in! Keeping it sexy and being rational! and right? Even Jesus had his emotions, but that's why he preached forgiveness; knowing how beneficial it can be for our internal soul! God bless you friend! Keep it sexy, and keep watching; I'll keep publishing!
@@mitch5222 I manage it because I've learned to love myself. As hard as my trauma and my struggles are, they're not my fault and it's nothing I'm doing wrong. So I can still find a way to be happy and do the things that I enjoy, and learn to forgive myself. I really really hope you can do the same Mitch. I don't want you to be hurting and struggling so much. Remember it's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong. You can do the things that you love that can make you happy

Brilliant and inspirational. Thank you, Mark.
