Went to Poland a few years ago with my mom; one of the best experiences of my life. The people there were unsurprisingly curios lol there’s little to no people of color but I did see some while I was there. I met some adorable and extremely curious polish school kids in the salt mines. I felt safer and more relaxed in Krakow than in my home state. The clean streets everyday was something I wasn’t used to especially being from NY.
You mean multi-ethnic? Being of a different race doesn't inherently mean you come from a different culture. Millions of black people are born and raised in France, speak French, have been part of French society, and know everything French. There's no multiculturalism in that case. Only multi-ethnic.

In Poland people don't smile that often like in USA and make small chats to strangers they're more cautious but if they get to know you and get the feeling you don't have bad attentions they will open up and be very friendly and helping every tourist.

I travelled to Poland with my black boyfriend. It was hell for him (and for me), the constant arguments we got into due to the nasty comments. The stares are not good let me tell you, they are very hostile!

Not sure what age group you had experience with but older generation is normally the worse one. I am not saying that every Polish person is like that but there are few of them. I am Polish myself and absolutely hate Polish mentality. I have been living in UK for last 15 years now and have been back to Poland maybe 4 times since. I have to admit that when I have visitors from Poland I feel embarrassed and awkward when they stare on people different races and always tell them off 😂

Glad your experience is well. I visited Poland last weekend and my experience was one of the most racist I’ve experienced. I was in Warsaw, and I was called a monkey, and told by a polish person to “ enjoy his racist country”. Not comforting or welcoming. This happened in the first 2 hours of my trip at a bar, so it kinda ruined my trip and my desire to continue to experience the country. To add context, I was traveling solo, and I have lived in Europe for 3 years.
I am currently in Poland with my daughter. The best vacation ever! Polish people are just not used to see black people in some places. They are amazing people.

@@johnwellington5754 Yep, I visited with my black boyfriend and he had a terrible experience. The poles are soooo racist towards black people (or maybe just black men!) Never again! I am so proud to be British.

It is nice you like Poland, no matter what or no matter where you want to live you have to learn their culture, etc. And of course the language. You look like you feel extremely comfortable there, why not consider yourself and your future kids born there also, would be cool, no? My husband is white white American Irish and I am latina dark skin from Puerto Rico and people around look at us strange but is not that, is that we are a different looking good couple, so that is all, and not only that, they are and they always remember us. Btw, I watch tennis with my husband and there are many great Poland players. Keep having fun!

Poland a stare zone 😂😂😂 Yes it is in deed ! It is a part of Polish mentality , this awkward habit disappears when people move to different country and absorb their culture.
I travelled to Poland with my black boyfriend. It was hell for him (and for me), the constant arguments we got into due to the nasty comments. The stares are not good let me tell you, they are very hostile!
@@kelliejackson3563 I do understand what you mean, Polish people are not very tolerant especially for things that are different to what they got use to. Not sure what age group you had experience with but older generation is normally the worse one. I am not saying that every Polish person is like that but there are few of them. I am Polish myself and absolutely hate Polish mentality. I have been living in UK for last 15 years now and have been back to Poland maybe 4 times since. I have to admit that when I have visitors from Poland I feel embarrassed and awkward when they stare on people different races and always tell them off 😂

I know its not every polish person but it was majority, and yes mainly older generation, but some young people tried to get in on the act. I soon told them to fk off and do one! Its a shame because I loved visiting the actual country!

One thing I know about polish people is that they love when you try to speak their language. Specialty men, they will always smile. And they love ss😎. I only visit Warsaw once years ago and I love the architecture. Very Beautiful 👍 I enjoy watching you guys 😂always smiling/laughing at some point in your video. I find Poles very tolerant . I have a polish nephew I love so much and sadly like every country there are racists everywhere. I sadly faced racism in Łódź when I once visited.

Glad your experience is well. I visited Poland last weekend and my experience was one of the most racist I’ve experienced. I was in Warsaw, and I was called a monkey, and told by a polish person to “ enjoy his racist country”. Not comforting or welcoming. This happened in the first 2 hours of my trip at a bar, so it kinda ruined my trip and my desire to continue to experience the country. To add context, I was traveling solo, and I have lived in Europe for 3 years.
