I know this is an old comment, but I'm late to discovering their channel. I'm in a 25 year age gap relationship for 6yrs. Now and we are perfect together but he keeps it as a secret from most, out of fear of what others will think and his family not accepting it. To be fair, he battles anxiety and has past trauma in relationship so I think that also plays s part. We've had many ups and downs because of his own worries and fears. But he's DEFINITELY discarding her input in the relationship and tossing it aside because she's too young. Healthy relationships aren't built that way. Both partners have to contribute. It should never be one dominant opinion or it will turn into a dictatorship and the one unheard will become resentful of the other.

Ha-ha Rafal...I love how I met my husband to be. It was not in a club or a bar, God brought me all the way from NY to a small place in ME. I t was at a singles retreat through the church of Christ. We vowed to not have relations until the marriage bed...and I am glad we didn't "cloud" our relationship with that. I have made a lot of mistakes in the past with that, and it didn't work out for me. God is good and he helped me to trust in him, and not in myself. Peace and God bless!

I notice that he tries to shut her up a lot by kissing her or trying to charm her. My husband does this too....but it's not because he doesn't listen or care. They're sharing personal info and allowing us to hear their convo so He's protecting their privacy and setting boundaries. I used to live with an a 19 year old and her 45 year old boyfriend so the age gap dynamic isn't unfamiliar to me! Relationships where there are obvious inequalities can feel cringe to me but if he's able to be with her and still encourage her to live out the same sort of 20s she would have had outside of their relationship, that would be super healthy.
