Project Hellcat: Our Racing Season Is NOT Off To A Good Start!

We recently had the chance to get our 2015 ‪@Dodge‬ Challenger Hellcat project car out to the drag strip for the first time this season. On our first pass with a minimal cool down, the car ripped off a 9.82 at 143 MPH, which was a new personal best for both the car and myself. After that, though, we ran into a major problem. Let's dig in and see if we can find it.

A friend had this exact thing happen to his drag car. The car in front of him in the waterbox kicked up a small bolt and it went right into his blower scoop. I wish more tracks used a plywood gate behind the waterbox for this reason.
