Battlefield 3 and everything before it were gold. BF4 is good, but not gold. More so like "silver" if you will.. Hardline is just.. well.. lol no answer.

Battlefield 1943 was amazing...
Battlefield 3 near launch made some of the best experiences I've had with the franchise. I've played every installment (Minus 1943 and the F2P versions) since BF2. But I tell you what. In my 6-7 years with the franchise BF3 was the first time I legitimately was scared of a tank.
If I had to pick a favorite, it would be BF3, with 2142 as a close second. (Future war done right)
Bad Company 2 is my favourite, but the gun sounds in Bad Company 1 were by far the best. That m16 sound was beyond satisfying

What a great franchise and amazing evolution in gameplay! Brigs back so much good memories. I remember how I started with Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII demo. It was just a demo with a couple of maps, but everyone was playing it and it was fantastic, had so much fun with it. And then Battlefield Vietnam, it was first full Battlefield game for me, countless hours. It's just amazing to look at it now.

This brings back so many good memories. I was around age 10 when my dad got 1942 and i played that and most of the other games growing up. Played 1942, Vietnam, Battlefield 2 and special forces, 2142, Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3...so all the best ones! Its hard choosing a favourite but it'd be between 2 and 2142 as i spent most hours on those two. Or 3...just because of Metro! haha

Nice video man I love the layout . Been playing since 1942 so brought back some great memories. The environmental destruction in BC2 was incredible I miss that. BF3 was well balanced infantry and vehicles alike easily my favorite. They got the color schemes and maps down to a tee. It was popular amongst real soldiers because it really was an accurate depiction of war and current weapons they use not all this new fancy stuff. They need a BC3 or a new BF3 reskin to revive the series. Hardline won't stay in my book as true Battlefield for obvious reasons. Thanks for the upload though.

BF2 was brilliant and 2142 fantastic. Spent days playing. BFBC2 and the Vietnam expansion was the last Battlefield I can say I truly enjoyed. But even then was losing some of the aspects of BF2 and 2142 that I enjoyed. Squad play and voip. I was playing alot of BF2 mods as well, which ramped up the teamplay even more. The franchise graphics today are awesome and cannot be denied, it's all a bit to COD for me now days though. For my team play fix, I go to SQUAD.

Hardline is still fun to play , but i agree that BF3 is by far the most addicting

Remake Battlefield 1942 with current engine - bring destructable: surrunding, buildings, vehicle parts etc. Throw away all that lightning thing, we don't need it!! We need vast space of battlefield with destruction of all on the map - including vehicle parts as tires, wings, engines etc. That would be a must have!!
It's a shame that 1943 doesn't include European or Vietnamese maps.

The first BF I ever played was BC 2 on my PS3 which was fitting since it's considered the best in the series. That game hooked me on the series. I bought the Vietnam expansion later that year along with the reboot of Medal of Honor which DICE did the multiplayer. Then BF 3 which was also awesome. BF4 and Hardline are good but not great

I wasn't allowed to play the first Battlefield game because everytime the mission Operation Market Garden started I always roared "Operation Market Garden whore!" to the computer and my mother took it away from me. I loved Bad COmpany 2 though.
