They need to add an item when you can check what is missing in map like Hollow knight
you have one item you can find in desenchated cistern in a golden chest( you need the item to jump higher in the water), it's a cut hand. bring it to the guy in the salt dream (foutain in Albero) he will transform it in a hand who rings when you enter in a room if some secret item hasn't be discovered yet.

the worst part is when you have 37 out of 38...
so I decided to check ALL of them one by one, because you never know which one you could miss...
and imagine that, the last was in Mercy Dreams, one of the first locations! I just didn't have a lightning spell when came there, and this little bugger was flying somewhere at the ceiling!!!
I spent a entire morning to find the last flying in a area even before Mercy dreams. "Contrict be the heart". These game delivers a promise: suffering

My last one was in graveyard of the peaks and I accidentally found it lol, was falling into the abyss's as usual and found it.
I think its best if you add a pin to your minimap with the yellow pins that look like the children

Making an entire checklist to find the single fucker I missed. If I ever recommend this game to someone, I’m telling them to IMMEDIATELY start using the pins so they don’t end up spending 40 minutes watching this video looking for babies.
It was 24 for me. I had to start at 1 and work my way through. I couldn’t leave this game with 1 more to find lol thank you for making this!
I love you. Instead of watching the whole video and going through each one manually I just looked at the comments to see where my missing one could be and it was this one!

Important fact, if you can't get the 21 because you don't have the relic that allows you to jump over the abysses, with 32 cherubs the picture already gives you that relic and you can look for the remaining ones.

I managed to find no. 38. It was where the olive trees wither. Also found the Saeta
Dolorosa prayer and 100% the game! For those having trouble finding the last few Cherub's, I suggest following this video from the beginning and mark off every one you've found so far. Managed to get 100% in the game with this method

It was #21 for me. The drop from Where the Olive Trees Wither required the Linen of Golden Thread relic and i thought i had already discovered this whole area!

FINALLY, I was combing through the whole map, somehow ended up overlooking number 10.
Same. I backtracked thru the whole map several times. I never even went in that room becsuse the map show I cleared it
Yeah i watched the whole thing and im still missing 1, not about to spend 3 hours rechecking every location. So obnoxious that there isn't a way to narrow down the one you are missing without just revisiting all 38 locations. oh well, moving on.
Some times its the easy ones that you cant find mine was number 24

I ended up actually finding it, ended up being #16 somehow. When I watched the video i immediately ignored that one because its so out in the opening i just assumed there was no way i missed it, but I guess when I first got there I had no way of getting it and forgot to mark the map.

Just finished the search for the babies, was stuck at the last one, which was #20!
It seems that most of the time, the last ones are located on initial areas that were unavailable...
I was going absolutely insane, it was number 6 for me!
Fuck I had 37 out of 38 and after about an hour of finding the needle in the hay stack it finally paid off. Thanks for you video.

I was just messing around just now and found no 24 by falling down a pit. One more to go.
Edit: I found it. No 20 was the missing one. What a horrible place to hide it. It's impossible to get early and there's no way youre going to find it by accident on your way back.

The greatest penance - the greatest suffering in this game - is having 37/38 cherubs. I was missing number 20. I had to check at least 30 spots to figure out which I'd missed. Never again.

you unlock this elevator later in game when you reach the mountains, you come back here later dont worry about it now

I had 37 and my last one was number 11. Wish there was a mention than you had to get the Uprooted From Dirt Relic to access it!! CMON MAN!! I'm grateful for this but damn that whole process was annoying AF. I like this game but this mess is the same or worse than Metroid with all the damn mysterious items. Most of which nobody would find without a guide. Ugh.
