Of all things, that's what made it a better game? I'll never understand statements like this. The most baffling one to me is when you are allowed to pet a cat in a game, everybody gets so excited about it and talks of it like it's the second coming of Christ. Smh I've even seen a video about Mortal Shell where the creator talked about how great it was that you could pet the merchants cat. Just my opinion, but things like that are utterly ridiculous. I'm just glad we can all agree Blaspemous is an excellent game because that's what matters most and will guarantee more sequels to come. Personally I like Blasphemous better than most AAA games I've played in the past 10 years. It seems all it takes to make a successful game is Keep It Simple. Blasphemous does that to a T. AAA game devs and publishers need to take notes on games like this so they can finally stop letting fans down. Anyway, take care Penitent Ones and God bless!
I've been playing this game blind for the past month, only thing I looked up is if donating tears did anything and how to lantern jump. The ability to transport to any save state and have it refill your magic is great!!! Thanks
Bro, I just finished my second playthrough and decided to donate. I had 1 FUCKING BOSS LEFT, before fighting crisanta. I unlocked the ability to fast travel when there was about an hour left in my playthrough, smh
i have 58 hours, playing blind, and a i just give up and start to use some videos and maps to find some things 🤣🤣🤣 and after this 58 hours i still love this game
I had a lot of money and I was near the end of the game and I never donated so I went to the church. I straight up donated 50k and it turned into a palace. Didn't know it can affect the prie dieu as well.
I have a question. What happens if you destroy all the statues that absolve you of your guilt? I notice that when I destroy them there’s a red ring left behind on the ground. What does it do?
If you equip the immaculate pearl(don't know if that's it's name) and die three times you will be able to enter those rings, however I suggest you do that after finishing the game and beating the final boss
Is it 100,000 altogether or 167,000? I swear I just dumped the last 20,000 of 100,000 I'd put in & nothing happened. Christ I sure hope I wasn't supposed to do it in the exact numbers it calls for, instead of dumping in 10,000 at a time.
You can do it at the end of game, and to get more tears from killings there is a rosary bead, after this, if you are playing true torment mode, there is nothing to spend money on.

Yeah just keep donating, it will add up the sum and once it reach the number, you will get the reward. I tested it, you can donate random amount without worrying of losing the tears. The church remembers.
