- CN 3023, and CN 2692 lead a stack train (Q199) north, up the CN Waukesha Subdivision. This was filmed on Scenic Road, in Polk, WI. It's about time I catch 3023! This was my last CN heritage unit to get, and I finally did! I thought it was gonna be a short wait, and that short wait turned into 45 minutes... The train came, and I finally got a backlit and slightly shaky shot of 3023, yay! The shot wasn't one of my best, but it was awesome to see 3023. The Dash 9 trailing was neat to see as well. I'm a huge sucker for CN Dash 9's.
It will always look strange to see the EJ&E unit on a stack train since they didn't run them when they were independent. Yet you frequently saw well cars online as they had two big repair shops located near Joliet. Nice catch
Interesting. I never knew the EJE never ran stackers. You'd they would've being so close to Chicago!
Nice catch SE!
Thanks!
CN Q199?
Other people were saying that's the symbol. I'm not sure if that's correct or not.
