In just two years time i'm running 25k in sales per month. 70% profit. Making more at this than i could have ever made in the past at any job while working currently less than 40 hours a week. It comes down to how bad you want it and the effort you put in. When i started i was working 19-20 hour days 7 days a week to get this set up to the point where it is now. If you want something bad enough or are unhappy with your situation then dont complain and do something about it. Such a simple concept that people fail to do.

Im watching lots of videos of pickers and resellers, and in the 2 videos ive watched of you Ive learned so much. Thank you, Im excited to see what comes of this year
I love your videos! You are so right about tracking what you make per hour! Had a conversation with my co-worker today about going part time at my job to put more into my reselling. She tried her hardest to tell me that reselling will fail. It will not go anywhere. I pointed out $9,000 in 2020, $27,000 in 2021 (triple the yr before), and I am currently up 43.8% over first quarter 2021. At that rate I will double that 2021 total of $27,000 in 2022. I also do Instacart when I am in free time and out shopping or waiting on kids or whatever, and I use them for Insurance because my job does not carry Ins and eBay don't offer insurance, LOL. Being the positive person of what I want, I broke it down to her like this, and she didn't know what to say: Full-time job $18.75 per hour (MBA...I should be making way more than that), no benefits (in five years I have been paid for a vacation 3 times & one was 3 days (the first yr I started) and two was 1 day each (both last year) any other days off I have either used banked hours (which came from being called when I was off and having to contact employees or look for placement for employees who quit or was needed immediately) or I have not been paid at all. One time I was paid for sick days, and that was only because I got sick, the boss required me to test negative for the C-19 before returning to work, I had already worked the whole week prior being sick (he did not care cause he was not there) and I refused to take a test because I had already gotten over the sickness & already knew if I had it I could test positive for up to 90 days AND I WAS ALREADY OUT OF THE 10 DAYS REQUIRED QUARANTINE WHEN HE MADE ME TAKE IT) FYI I did take it cause he made me stay off for the whole week until I tested and it was negative. I got paid only because I told him it was wrong him and his wife both came to work sick and they didn't go get tested cause they had gotten all the shots. I get weekly payroll hours when submitted and his wife (yes she is an employee & the other co-worker are paid for any days they take off (the co-worker is off three or four weeks a year..she has only worked 1 yr longer than me), The wife just started 8 months ago. The co-worker was paid for a month while vacationing plus 3 additional weeks 2 yrs ago. Reselling: Average $56 per hour (I figure it up monthly so it can be higher or slightly lower), benefits of I can do it on my own time, no boss, I work as little or as much as I need, I am still making money on my 3 tiny weekend vacas each yr, I can work two weeks a month (if we just consider hours time) and make as much as I do working full time at a desk job, I can go out and enjoy life while sourcing and making money. FYI going full time I would put more into it than the two weeks. Instacart: Average $25-30 per hour, I get health, dental, and vision ins, plus 401K, I can do it as little or as much as I want, I GET TO WALK AROUND AND DO LIFTING FOR EXERCISE....something I do not get sitting at a desk 8 hours a day. So not only do I get financially benefited, I also get health and lifestyle benefits!

I love the "make everything your fault" theory. It is exceptional - I try to do that in a different way but it allows you to become empowered and emboldened. I spent so many years unintentionally with a victim mentality - it was so freeing to throw that off. We are such powerful and creative beings but society does not want us to know or understand and thus is teaches us that we are subject to the will of others and have no say in our way. Thank you for including this in your business teaching. I believe this is possibly the key to what makes a "successful" person. It should be taught in every entrepreneurial class. By accepting the fault we can make the adjustment. 💯
Honestly I think the hardest thing about re-selling is finding good inventory that WILL sell and can be purchased at a price that leaves room to make a profit. I have no idea how to get 10 items a day like that to even list.

Just a bit on listing. I really have only been running my store seriously for a few months. Don't be put off when you are new. It may take you 20 minutes to list something to begin with. Hell I think it took me 30. You may think "God I will never get down to under 5 minutes". But you will. Just keep listing, update your templates, periodically, with everything you do over and over again. After a few weeks you can list in your sleep. Just make sure you update the templates. If you find yourself writing the same thing over and over again, pop it in the template.
This is the first video i watch from you and i completely understand and feel everything you talked about, especialy tip#7 "take responsibility for everything" 11:45 because i resently adopted that mentality hearing it from Hamza and Adrew Tate and you could say it has given me some more peace of mind. Also tip#10 16:41 is very important, i have started to give less attention to friends and people that i know are holding me back, not that they are bad or they are doing it on purpose but unfortunately they can not keep up with me. I know it seems cruel and i dont feel good about it but its something that must be done for my own growth
Great video and a great mind set to have on all points. I am still learning this many things about reselling but I am always willing take responsibility and fine tune what I am doing in anything.
Great point about geographical niches! Locally, I find golfing items, Denver Broncos items, Harley Davidson, & Pro Rodeo stuff and western wear. I consider them ALL my bread and butter even though vintage jewelry and accessories is my favorite niche.
A business that becomes a substantial income source, the term for that is probably "a going concern." Or, at least, that's a term closer in meaning for this context.
10,000 hrs would be expert level and that has been something that is an idea that has been repeated but not 100% true. (Search Ted talk regarding the 10,000 hour rule) This would be true if you wanted to be at the top level of whatever you are doing but to do this full time I don't think you need to achieve the top level of reselling knowledge. If you want to become highly effective and efficient at reselling then I would consider Pareto's law/principal or the 80/20 rule is a better guide for someone looking to go full time. What 20% action/input do you need to (understand, know, do, source) to drive 80% of your results? You may find that the ratios vary but generally speaking they can be 10 to 30% and 90 to 70% output. The point being is to, just like Chris said, focus in on the important things. Identify and remove all the unnecessary and unproductive time sinks so that you are as efficient as possible.
First of all i love all your vids! Been following for a while. Started my ebay business about a month ago, im listing about 15 items per day and i sell right around 3 items per day. Only got about 280 items in my store so far. Im in hawaii, what do you think would give me an advantage niche authority to resell on ebay? Thanks again!
It helps to know what you profit on each item sold This way you can know what you can spend in buying inventories I not to spend more than you are earning
Chris your stuff is awesome. We are somewhat new at this. Few months in and are doing an average of 2 sales a day with 190 items listed. Where do we find out what are the right items are needed! Do you have a list or video? Ty!
I have a friend who loves the thrill of the chase as far as sourcing goes but then hates the rest (photos, listing, shipping) so has a HUGE death pile. Do you have any advise as to how to get her motivated and get her booty in gear?!
1) Understand or have a "why?" Why are they doing it? Is there a goal that they have in mind that they started doing it in the first place? To eventually buy a home? To quit their job? To afford a vacation? If they already had a why, and they still aren't doing it, then maybe the why isn't strong enough and not important enough to them. They either then need to find a new why or just quit altogether, since there isn't a strong enough reason for them to be doing it. 2) Start with a few items at a time. Grab 10 off the pile, turn their back to the pile and do those 10, start to finish. They will never accomplish anything and continue to be discouraged if they think all about how much work it's going to do in order to knock the entire pile out. Do it a little at a time. Even if it's just one item. Once you do one item, you're already in motion, so it's easier to keep with the flow and do one piece, then the next piece and the next piece...
Hi Ashley, your friend is lucky that you care so much to ask. I'm curious about the hate. How much hate on 1-10. Ask her that. Hate not all the same. Some is fear-hate. Other can be imposter-hate. It likely isn't all hate-hate. I tutored 2 adults in algebra. Both hated math. One had fear hate. I got more out of her. Both passed their classes. Success is always possible. Target the problem.
And there are LOTS of ways she can get to success. She has passion. The next step is important. I don't mind death piles. Try to get her to expand on her love of sourcing and she might be able to tell you more about why she stops there. You can help her.
Hi Chris, I started with sports cards and moved to an everything store, but now I am 90% clothing. I would like to get back into cards I’m thinking 80/20 split clothing/cards or should I start a new store dedicated to cards and keep my bigger store (goal is 30/30/30 in clothing) ?
I went the other way. Started with all clothes then moved into cards/games and anime merch (mostly signs postcards). Clothes take a lot of space. Cards are value dense. I just stopped buying and posting new clothes. Kept up existing clothes listings till sold
is it good idea to list different category products in one ebay shop? Like I have toys, cosmetics, cloths to sell. Can I list all these different product into ONE EBAY SHOP? Is it good idea or keep selling cosmetics only in one ebay shop and dont sell cloths??Please advice, thank you

The more you post "the more you'll make" but it can be worth it
Another favorite video!! LOL @ “you can’t get rid of your kids”
I'm doing from a storage place 👍👍
I have been listening to you for a while. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you!
I appreciate that!
Great video and a great mind set to have on all points. I am still learning this many things about reselling but I am always willing take responsibility and fine tune what I am doing in anything.
I like that this guy also drops little nuggets of life advice too lol
Great point about geographical niches! Locally, I find golfing items, Denver Broncos items, Harley Davidson, & Pro Rodeo stuff and western wear. I consider them ALL my bread and butter even though vintage jewelry and accessories is my favorite niche.
Awesome content! Thank you!
Always enjoy your analogies
Thank You!

All about the upgrade!!!
Thanks chris you rock
A business that becomes a substantial income source, the term for that is probably "a going concern." Or, at least, that's a term closer in meaning for this context.
Everyone be sure to Will Smith that like button!!
Easier said then done lol I list 20 and maybe one might sell
I like your hoodie... where did you get it? Macy's?

Good vid
First of all i love all your vids! Been following for a while. Started my ebay business about a month ago, im listing about 15 items per day and i sell right around 3 items per day. Only got about 280 items in my store so far. Im in hawaii, what do you think would give me an advantage niche authority to resell on ebay? Thanks again!
It helps to know what you profit on each item sold
This way you can know what you can spend in buying inventories I not to spend more than you are earning
Thx I'm starting to buy and resell on ebay, Poshmark, and Mercari. Any tips?
Shes gonna run out of money eventually.
Best video! What’s the best program for book keeping? I sell on eBay.
Good morning! Does anyone know why the ebay standard envelope is not working for shipping $20 bill using the ebay standard envelope rate?
How many items did you start off with selling on ebay?
10
Hi Chris, I started with sports cards and moved to an everything store, but now I am 90% clothing. I would like to get back into cards I’m thinking 80/20 split clothing/cards or should I start a new store dedicated to cards and keep my bigger store (goal is 30/30/30 in clothing) ?
I went the other way. Started with all clothes then moved into cards/games and anime merch (mostly signs postcards). Clothes take a lot of space. Cards are value dense. I just stopped buying and posting new clothes. Kept up existing clothes listings till sold
great video man …. need to reset my store with free returns
Good stuff
Just won an auction on some supreme airforce 1 while watching haha
is it good idea to list different category products in one ebay shop? Like I have toys, cosmetics, cloths to sell. Can I list all these different product into ONE EBAY SHOP? Is it good idea or keep selling cosmetics only in one ebay shop and dont sell cloths??Please advice, thank you
is it better to be included in fewer or more listings ... be found in 20 listings or 100 listings when you put in a search using different key words
Much appreciated
Maybe post 30 plus a day to make sure you make sells or even 25 posts...
former squirrel brain hahahhaha
Hey sir, I’m a new subscriber and I started selling a month ago. I’ve been selling stuff from my house and have had inconsistent listing and haven’t had much sell, should I start opening up inventory and start buying stuff to grow my store? My current store consist of clothes and bags totaling 15.
Word is getting out that I sell clothes with friends and family. They want me to do consignment for them. Do you do this? How do you make it work for everyone? Thank you!
Thank you
Can this use for Poshmark?
Is 10 listings in a hour including photography?
What size poly packers do you use or do you mainly use ziplocks? Ty
9x12,10x13,12x15,18x18

Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
