Just saying we went from 2k to over 7k since watching your stuff. Thanks so much again I absolutely love your channel and you have a perfect mentor presentation.

I'm glad you mentioned not buying cameras and label printers right away. I understand doing it Tech's way is fastest but have always thought you need to balance that with what you can afford to do. Instead of buying those things out of the gate, let your business eventually pay for them
Which Elph do you recommend? I thought when I checked your link it was $500+, but I know there are other models. And the label printer is 200-250 plus labels. Most people have a phone and a printer. It is hard to switch, I'm just starting to think about it. But it's not because I want to be slower or am stubborn, it's making sure it pays for itself.
Love the mental health tip at the end. Trying to suppress or deny negative emotions makes people the most unhappy. It's been proven with scientific research.
Thanks for your videos Chris I want to go full time with my eBay business this year, I’ve just been having trouble with people discouraging me despite the fact the I enjoy it. I will keep pressing forward toward full time
Hey bud I want to let you know I’ve been selling since 2007 and while I don’t sell much right now I have always sold my items. I don’t think I have ever had any not sell knock on wood haha. I’m just a part time seller. Sporadically. So I was thinking if a person listed more it would help immensely haha.
Chris, your "Live" format is Amazing! All those real time sales within seconds! Your demeanor, auctioneer style, quick witted style ROCKS!! Oh my gosh, are you signing autographs with each purchase too? Wow, wow, WOW!! Reseller extroidernaire! =)
Best of luck with posh. I stopped listing there because their customer service is non existent and they “accidentally” suspended my account for a week, no warning. Took three days for custom service to respond with an “oops we’re sorry. That was a mistake” response.
Tiny Tina's Wonderland is a videogame. It's a spin off of Borderlands which is pretty popular in gaming communities. So that was a gamer hoodie collectable.
Refridgawear is work wear made to keep you warm for long periods of time in work situations like blast freezers and frozen shipping/recieving facilities
This was really helpful. Interesting that you will buy some brands if the item is a jacket, but not if it's a shirt. But then other brands you'll buy even if there's a logo of a random company embroidered on the front! I would have thought that random logos would drive the value down, but apparently not. (I guess the jacket is just as warm!) Also, I pass on professional sports stuff all the time (in my area that's Red Sox and Patriots mostly). Maybe I should start picking it up!
I don't buy usually buy used clothing. But that Carhartt Vest I would buy in a minute, especially the size 4XL. I have trouble finding that size in certain brands. I wear 3XL now, but it is astounding how different brands have such a range in sizes. I have a 2XL Campor Raincoat (it is good quality, even with the made in China label), but it is really tight like a 1XL, yet I bought a Columbia Rain Jacket 3XL (its like the size of a tent, almost too big , but in this instance I need it larger because i wear an inner down jacket in the winter).
How is it that you are selling things for $1-$5? Are you getting things for free? I wouldn't even bother listing something for $1-$5 for anything. I usually say if I can't make at least $10 on something I'm not buying it. Obviously you are the expert, please explain.
Also not feeling well but got 2hrs of RA done earlier and lots of inventory. Currently doing listing while watching you on YT (2 monitors ftw). Hope all of your inventory is safe from the flooding!
I'm sorry, Chris, about not being real active on your videos lately -- I haven't been selling much lately or making videos. I am trying to get back to it, though and you have some excellent info in here!
Maybe the weather is getting you down Chris and contributing to not feeling well. I need sun to feel good and energetic. If it’s not sunny, I make sure I am getting in a Vitamin D supplement at 10,000 IU per day and some natural light lamps in my house. Maybe a short trip to a sunny location is in order. ☀️
13:36 Oregon Ducks my man, not the Beavs those are the rivals! Also if you find Oregon swag with Puddles, much better! Oregon Ducks vintage had Donald Ducks as its mascot with the unofficial Disney collaboration back in the day so keep an eye for that! 16:52 San Diego Aztecs, SDSU.
Great content as I am a power seller. Problem I have is that I sell collectibles which is harder to store I buy pallets of items at a time. With same or similar size items Chris' inventory method is ideal.

i dream of being a good reseller. so far i cannot eem to get things that sell, i look up comps, seems to sell but when i list them, i get nothing unless its oofos mens shoes, those sold super fast for good money
i have been a reseller for more than 5 years, i never make too much money and im in between a home so i have lost many items tht have sold and created a low seller rating. i am trying to find more free stuff to list and see what happends because i am not working right now ....
What is your average cost per item of these from the thrift? I need to start sourcing from the flea but I'm honestly intimidated walking in there with so many other resellers that can buy such large quantity as yourself. Or maybe the question is what can I expect to pay at the flea (rough range) for only about 50 items of these type of brands?
May not be far enough into your channel but would be curious what you suggest acquisition price should be. I live in SF and the only way I'd pick up any of the mall brands like Madewell, Pink etc. is from the bins because the prices at Goodwill would give me maybe $1 per item profit
*acquisition price as a percentage of list price. My understanding from watching another reseller's channel is I should be aiming to acquire at around 30% of the cost I'll list at and as I get to know the SF market it seems like that will be tough until I have local hookups or go to the bins.

What does that mean sellling manually?

So, when you are calling out people and you show the dollar amount, is that dollar amount how much you sold it for?
So, you are making from $3-15 per item? Alot, less than I thought.
If you sell a $10 item or less do you still use promote or is it better to just leave it as is??
depends on the item
