I’m a born and bred South Asian British man. Will be leaving UK with my family on 25th of August. I don’t want my kids to go through this. We are moving to Oman. Hopefully no one will scream pa*I at my kids over there.
Honestly no complaint about anything though. We are just simple people who have family to take care and bills to pay for. Not trying to take over “their country”. Hopefully UK sort itself out.

I was on a two-week work mission in London last month. The truth is that I was surprised by the large number of immigrants, Africans and homeless people in London. In Saudi Arabia, we have a system in which you either reside with a regular residence permit or you are deported to your country. We have tens of thousands who are deported weekly because they violate the residency system.

Many countries that were colonized by the UK are now loaded with immigrants. The British not only colonized but also brought a large number of immigrants to the countries like to Arab Palestine land, South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia etc.
Even these immigrants now have become permanent residents in these countries.
So there is no reason for the British to reject/deport immigrants who already exist in the UK

Does anyone knows exactly how many illegal ( undocumented / assylum seekers ) are there in the UK? There seems to be no clear answer and no published statistics on this even after searching extensively on the internet. Having exact numbers will put things in their proper perspective whether there is a valid concern or just things blown out of proportions. Local brits struggling to cope economically with wages stagnating and rising cost of living due to inflation naturally gets resentful when they hear about migrants being provided for their daily needs free of charge and housed in hotels.

I am not a racist by any means as a minority who has
experienced racism and hate crimes in the U.S., but
the last time I visited the U.K. a couple months ago, it had changed
a lot culturally, socially, economically, and politically.

I do not think that the anti-protests led the riots from not happening. It was the timing question. The surprise effect was gone after a week of unrest. So it was impractical to organise anything if the police as well as the communities were much better prepared. Violence thrives when there is a moment of surprise, unexpectancy and most of the people were still dealing with shock and mourning the three deceased children.
No one can blame misinformation for the reason to come out and start causing mayhem. You have to be smarter than that and think for yourself and your future…if you have a future

I hope that this could be a positive turning point to address immigration, racism, bigotry and xenophobia. I experienced my own and I'm a white female. I saw more through my boyfriend. British citizens who have an issue with this need wake up and remember that your own country aggressively forced yourself, not that long ago, into nations around the world. Education serious needs to improve in the way that you see your nation, regardless of class and political position. The level of open racism from politicians, at times its used to attack the same demographic through hate speech. They should be held accountable. It was nothing but spreading hate. I'm blown away how refugees have been completely dehumanising, framing people who are escaping violence, economic refugees.
Maybe Qatar should worry about radical Islam instead of UK issues.
