Please watch more of Dimash's performances, Sir. He takes us all on a magical carpet ride that is out of this world. New viewers to Dimash, prepare to take an amazing musical journey. Everything you said was true, Sir. Thank you for an amazing reaction to this amazing song. Igor Krutoy, the man at the piano for those who do not know, composed many songs personally for Dimash to sing. If he is on stage, you can bet it is one of his pieces.

Thank you for your kind words and the valuable information about Igor Krutoy's role as the composer for many of Dimash's performances. Dimash's musical journey truly captivates and enchants audiences worldwide, and I'm thrilled to be a part of experiencing and sharing this magical carpet ride with viewers. If you have any more insights or if there's anything else you'd like to discuss, please feel free to let me know. Thank you once again for your message and for your support!

Carl, thank you for your reaction. My favorite part is when your heart overrides your (very intelligent) head and you cannot help but burst into smile and joy when Dimash opens up at the end, in his high belt. This is because my awe for Dimash is reflected in your face too -- and that's what I love most about your reactions (despite the musical insights -- which are also great, but they alone won't keep me coming back ...) It's the moments when your raw awe and wonder ignite in you -- and I get this feeling that we are both in the presence of magical greatness (not just me on my own), and that reminds me that the world is full of wonderful people who are all different and scattered across the world, but we all feel and love and cherish life, like Dimash)! You are a gem, keep it coming! 🙏Lee

Dimash always says for us not to focus on his octave range, it is just a tool he uses. He just just wants you to enjoy his performance and be transported away from your troubles for a little while. One of my favourites is Quaragym-ai. It has no extreme notes or complicated runs. He sung it in an empty theatre with just a pianist. The two of them wanted to pay their respects to their beloved college professor who had passed away because of covid. The professor had written this song when his own daughter had died. Dimash finds it hard to get through the song. It is beautiful, stunning and breathtaking.

As with so many of DQ's vocal paintings, but even more so with this piece, the deepest emotional response hit me hard when he produced the Angelic vocalese....just the most Divine Glorious Angelic sound, and I'm not even religious.

For me it`s alway important, what the singer radiates to the outside. And Dimash is a big exception. I love his high and low notes. But Dimash also sings songs without high notes. And these are very powerful.

yess this is also my top 2 arguably even number 1 favourite of dimash, other song are also extremely good with beautiful performance, daybreak is emotional, ikanaide is sadness, and this one is just so delicate that it pierce through your soul. If you read the lyric it's also very "honest" and pure that you can't help but feels like you can relate to the dude in the song even though you never had his experience. Definitely beautiful.
Oh yeah please check the daybreak bastau version if you haven't yet, it's an emotional song about cable car accident where a couple died saving their child by lifting him up, he then get adopted by the song writer and she (the song writer) wrote that song for him. The song is from the view point of that child. It's interesting.

Love your reactions. But no, he doesn’t always use his soprano voice. Try some of these songs, that are amongst my favourites of his: Samaltau Tokyo Jazz, Amanat (Dimash at his most soothing and healing, my current favourite) and If I Never Breathe Again Arnau 2019 (love song to the Dears that he sings at every concert). Love from Belgium.

I'm with you, Carl . . . this has been one of my Dimash faves from the first time I heard it. But, of course, with that magical, beyond human combination of Dimash and Igor, how can you possibly pick just one favorite. He is truly the voice of angels in human form! As I heard one reviewer say one time, "Dimash IS music" . . . or, to put it in my own words, Dimash is the very definition of music.

@@TheWordSmith365 for me last song i hear is my favourite, meaning it changes everytime :) DIMASH has songs from every genre there is and if there is a genre he did not sang he will in future, so if you want our recomendation, first pick a genre or technique so DEARS will help you pick a song. Also... some of the songs has more then one unique performances so even if you aready reacted to one, sometimes it is worth reacting to different one (KNOW, AKKUYM). Also in this song he sang part of AVE MARIA, but he has his own version of AVE MARIA written by IGOR just for him, so i think it would be natural if you react to AVE MARIA next

Great reaction, one of my favorits too. The thing with Dimash is that after watching anything for the first time you think, oh this is great and my new favorite. see you next time….
But I definitely love„Passione“. It based on the work of Dante Aleghieri, „the Divine Comedy“ and describes Dante's journey through hell to the heights of paradise. You can also understand it as a fight between good and evil and both are built into us. It is not „only“ a song, it is like an opera performance, it is surprising and a little wild, it‘s just Dimash, no one else does anything like this, the creativity blows my mind. I've watched it probably 20 times and every time you discover something new.
I would love to see your reaction to this.

You are spot on! Dimash's voice is not only gorgeous to listen to, touching his listeners' hearts and souls, but he is the most technically advanced singer in the world. He has revolutionized music with his novel "Dimash-style," yet too much of the world is still unaware of him, and what he contributes to music today. I'm so glad you are reacting to Dimash. Your videos are informative and enjoyable.
"Oceans Over the Time" is an early song from several years ago that I don't think you've reacted to. It's one of my favorites (so hard to name favorites, so many of his performances are amazing), and though it has fewer vocal fireworks, I love it for its sheer beauty. It's my go-to song when I need a peaceful place. I happen to like best the visuals put together by fan Gloria Wu to go with this song, but there's another official video with less engaging (to me) images. The same vocals accompany either video.

At last!!!! This has been my favorite for the longest time until “the story of one sky”. How is wish you turned on the close caption. The lyric is so poignantly beautiful. Thank you for your reaction.
Before the new songs, I would suggest those that had made a huge impact on his life… no high register, no soprano. The “qaragym-ai”.
The song "Karagym-ai" was created about 30 years ago. The music for which Kenes Duisekeev wrote in his youth, has its own romantic and dramatic history. The Kazakh poet Shomishpay Sariev is the author of over 15 books and 300 poems and songs, including the lyrics of the song "Қарағым-ай" (Qaraǵym-aı). The poem was created approximately 25 years ago. He dedicated the song to his daughter, who was getting married. The father puts his feelings into the text, his worry, how the life of the daughter with her groom will be formed, what awaits her ahead. Shares with daughter about the meaning of life. The poet argues that the most important meaning of life is Love. Life lived without love is empty. The poet asks: "All life lived without love is equivalent to one day lived in love?" It is always sad to leave home and cross the threshold of of someone else’s house. That is why a bit sad moment to a daughter too. After all, the tears of the girl are not from grief, but only regret when parting with the native village, relatives.
Poet asked his friend the famous kazakh composer Kenes Duisekeev to write music. The composer during writing the music to the song, recalls his only sister, who did not have time to get married and died at the age of 19. He dreamed what a father would have felt if she would have married.
Therefore, the song turned out not only about the poet’s daughter, who is getting married, but about the composer’s sister, who did not live to see her wedding. Therefore, the song feels sorrow, sadness of failed love.
There are 3 versions of the song that could be found online . The first one in 2016, kenes (dimash teacher) will having a birthday concert. Dimash approach him to sing the song qaragym-ai. Kenes was hesitant thì going how could dimash give justice to the feelings of a father when he was just 21? But he don’t want to disappoint Dimash so he said practice and I want to see it in the rehearsal (though he have someone on his mind to sing the song). Dimash sung and he said Dimash have a capacity to move hearts. He sung it that night then. In July 2020, kenes died of Covid and the second version of the song was sung. Now dimash sing it differently. If there’s a voice grief and anguished and what someone felt as you see someone being lowered in the grave, it was how it wound sound. And the last version was in his virtual concert. Both 2020 and 2021 version is so poognant.
Another one was marigold(for mothers sung on Mother’s Day), and if I don’t breathe again dedicated to his dears.
Another standout is “daybreak” bastau concert. He sung it first in the singer but he was sick and needs 6 steroids in order to sing. The most beautiful rendition is the bastau. Put the sub title on. It’s a true story of a cable accident in China, where a father put his two and a half old son to safety but he and his wife died. Later the boy was adopted by a famous singer. And the song is about the anguish of a child. You will definitely go crazy with his runs. Not like a 12 note down in less that a second in bastau diva dance but phenomenal. I know you will be tempted to close your eyes and savor the moment, but don’t. You might miss some of the incredible things he will do.
Don’t go too long to react to dimash. A lot of songs awaits you.
