As someone born in the 1940s, I can attest that (for me) that Dimash is a once-in-a-generation talent. He truly has no equal.
I totally agree as I was also born in the 40’s. The very first time I heard him sing, I immediately thanked God that I had lived long enough to experience and totally appreciate this once in a hundred years voice (at the very least, once in a generation). ❤❤❤❤❤

This song is expressed in 3 parts in my view- the deep breathy intimate song to himself that we are eavesdropping, the message from above-a heaven sent origin of love, then a courageous declaration of love to the world!

Maestro Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash presented the song first on Alla Pugachova's 70th birthday on April 2019. She is a famous singer in Russia. The event took place in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
Maestro Krutoy composed this song 28 years ago for Alla Pugacheva. Valerya Gorbacheva wrote the beautiful words. Now Igor and Dimash have refreshed the song and Dimash made it his song, incomparably beautiful. The interpretation is completely different from the original. I melt away every time I hear the song.
* Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'.

Dimash’s interpretation of this song is absolutely stunning, showcasing his unbelievable range as well as his exquisite control over the dynamics of the song. The arrangement with Igor at the piano and the string orchestra in the background is both lush and elegant like most of Igor’s compositions. His beloved Grandfather/Papa died earlier this week.
This was the grandfather and of course Grandmother who solely until age 10 when the entire family moved in together. This is a Kazak tradition for a first born son.
Dimash and his Father, (Kanat) led the carrying of the death cot which had long wooden handles. on it.
Papa taught Dimash to play chess, to pray, to speak blessings and to be an upright man.
He was in his 80's. No matter the age, it is a blow to Dimash and the family.
I also recommend the song "Passione"....

Dimash sings almost always perfect but since he is still human he some times makes a mistake. But he is able to fix it within seconds and he always stays in character so most of the time you will not notice the mistake.
