I believe Dimash holds the record for the highest note sung by a male live, with this performance. So there is probably higher but not live. There were 150,000 people at this outdoor event in Gakku who witnessed it! He says he intended to do D7 (which is the norm for him in this song) but he missed it, (a rarity I know! He is human after all!) so he decided on the D8 instead, it was not planned!
Others have hit higher but they were not performing just trying to make a world record high note and kept trying many times. Performance wise I don't know of a higher note done in a live performance. Btw Dimash said he could go higher but there wasn't a point because it's not pretty and he is trying to make beautiful music not set world records 😊
@@theseusdathenes9278 Yes. The note didn't come out. So according to a theory (not sure he said this, he might have), out of sheer frustration he decided to go even higher. That does sound like Dimash to me, lol.
You are a well spoken man. I like the way you speak about Dimash and of course how you respond to his voice. You're good. 🤗 👍 Best regards from Norway 🇳🇴
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed my video and my commentary on Dimash's music. I appreciate your support and feel free to subscribe to my channel if you haven't already. And greetings from South Africa to Norway! Best regards.
This is the famous D8 of the great master and the one and only Dimash..And is not just a "simple" and "normal" D8 that simple and normal is not and is impossible for all the other singers on the planet, this is a D8 of 5 seconds with vibrato in a live performance with more of 150.000 people in the audience..This is absolutely and undoubtedly a guinness world record for a whistle in a performance live..Dimash is a phenomenal genius and is in his own league..Only Dimash can beat and surpass himself..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever
In my honest opinion...🧐 You are the Dimash Kudaibergen of reactors😎! Everything is so well rounded. You're articulate, musically inclined, funny, informative and you have a real positive aura about you. You deserve x5 the amount of subscribers you have now, keep doing what you doing! Oh and please react and analyze 'Love Is Like A Dream,' 'Ave Maria,' & 'The Story of One Sky.' Thank you very much my favorite reactor!😁

@@TheWordSmith365 a year ago i was not aware about reactor world on youtube, i was not even interested in music, then i discovered DIMASH and also i discovered this reactor world. since then i watch everything i could about Dimash from many different angles presented by professional reactors and musicians. but i also discovered that this world is full of reactors who knows nothing about music and all they can do is ask "how", "not possible". DIMASH is so popular that DEARS will join every singe reactor channel to talk, discuss and ... react but I have enough of shallow reactors who knows nothing and dont want to know anything. i dont care for "blind reaction" anymore but i care alot for people like you who is prepared to react, to know what he is reacting to and who can explain. thunder striked me about 8 months ago and since then all i do is listen to Dimash and to reactors that react to him. Thank you for this information about the song. It's always interesting to learn more about the background and context behind music. Dimash's talents at such a young age are truly remarkable and it's amazing to see how far he has come since then. I appreciate you sharing this with me.
@@TheWordSmith365 He wrote the music, and then took it to the poet / lyricist and father of one of his schoolmates, Oral Baisengir, who wrote the lyrics. There was an interview where he describes Dimash coming over with the music. Baisengir also wrote lyrics to a couple of other songs Dimash songs - "My Swan", and "Qairan Elim".
Disculpe por mi comentario sobre Diana pero en estos tiempos necesitamos mensajes con voz cálida que nos haga sonreír,soñar y suspirar como Dimash que se convierte en un aliento de vida❤
Love your Dimash reactions! Several vocal coaches brought out devices that measure frequencies in their reactions. They confirmed that it was the D8. However, I am pretty sure Dimash can go higher AND lower than what we ever heard from him. He is a tireless worker and keeps improving.
Thank you for your comment and for watching my Dimash reactions! It's fascinating to hear that vocal coaches have confirmed that Dimash's whistle note is indeed a D8. And I agree that Dimash's range is likely even more impressive than what we've heard from him so far - he's constantly pushing himself to improve and expand his capabilities as a vocalist. I'm excited to see what incredible feats of singing Dimash will achieve in the future, and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to react to his performances and share my thoughts with fellow music enthusiasts. Please react to Dimash’s performance of Samaltau from the Tokyo Jazz Festival of 2020. Another studio performance, like Ikanaide. Relaxed, yet passionate. It is a Kazakh folk song. th-cam.com/video/UvMRkiYu3Js/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FPlHBbLN1iaAqJR9
There are some songs, or parts of songs in his live concerts that are prerecorded. This is so that he can take a bit of a rest because his concerts are three hours long. It's extremely difficult to figure out which ones are. Sometimes he needs a short little rest and he flips into a high falsetto, which is easy. And yes, I also believe that he sometimes has fun with the mike and it has the added advantage of proving a point. But at the end of the day I don't think he allows himself to be bothered by critics. Once he actually said that he know that there are people say he's all about screaming and high notes. He he very nonchalantly said that he doesn't care about those people. His mother said that everyone can rest assured that nobody will succeed in breaking his will. He definitely learned from Marat how to be resilient.
You were right on about why he moves the mic like that. It's to prove he's not lip syncing. I think he did that for the first time a long time ago (when he first began to be noticed and people were doubting if he was singing live) but he continues to do it with this particular song mostly. I think it's just become part of the song itself now.
Every time I hear this note, it almost sounds like mic feedback. It's very impressive. Of course, everything he does is impressive. Its inspirational for me to see anyone doing what they love at the very highest level, whether it be music, sports, etc.

Dimash doesn’t always do vocal gymnastics in a song. Quaragym-ai is a beautiful song written by his college professor who died from covid. Dimash sings in an empty theatre with just a fellow student on piano. It is hauntingly special. Or Amanat which is like a prayer to his country, sang at the digital concert. But he does some pop songs, Zhalyn, Give Me Your Love, be with me, Weekend etc. they are pretty straightforward but unique in their own way.
Thank you for your insightful comment and for highlighting some of Dimash's lesser-known but equally beautiful songs. I will take a look at and react and analyze Quaragym-ai and Amanat. While I have heard that some of his pop songs may have more straightforward melodies, Dimash's unique voice and interpretation will most likely make them stand out and be captivating to listen to. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and expanding my understanding of Dimash's diverse repertoire. Thank you for your support!

Yes, exactly! Dimash often adjusts his microphone or moves his hand away from his mouth to show that he is genuinely singing and not lip-syncing. It has just occurred to me, having heard this many times, that many of his songs are sung as conversations or conversational stories…like Love Is Like a Dream, and Olympico where he is commanding an army of athletes and encouraging them. So his technique is not one where every word starts and finishes like poetry, but rather it is to enforce the storyline. His wording is precise and beautifully pronounced, as the Kazakh phonetics are really good for singing, as is Russian, compared to Mandarin, and so his consonants are exhilarating. This is at Gakku, which is an event company holding a type of fete with 140,000 people there, and I think Dimash flew home from China for the event. Dimash was very well accomplished in Kazakhstan, but was not overly well known there, but his parents were. His style of singing was too out of the box for many of his judges in contests at home, but was appreciated in outside nations, and then especially in China where he was blessed with immediate international fame. However after this, and possibly a bit before, Kazakhstan was totally on board. He was previously awarded as a National Treasure, so he did have some wonderful recognition. Dimash and his Dad wrote and composed this back when he was 15 years old. There are quite a few beautiful versions of it in various concerts. This and SOS are go to songs from his youth. P.S. it is standard procedure in Russia to use pre-recorded techniques so that they do not stuff stuff up, so there may be occasions where this happens, but Dimash is totally in sync with sound via his earphones and sings along anyway. I have noticed he has the characteristics that go with a photographic memory, so I’m sure he is always singing irrespective of the times when sound and motion do not match, which you see from time to time with fans, non-professionals, doing vids live at concerts. Another thing about Russia, they are culturally inhibited in response at concerts, so when you see a good response, they are international fans that follow Dimash around the world. And…..some of us presume he was going for his usual F octave, and the way he was shaking his mic with no sound, it must not have come out, so on the spur of the moment, he just continued up to perhaps where he had never been before. So, a D8, which he does not talk about.
You are again spot on with your Analysis and 'Theory',that is exactly why Dimash waves the microphone about,to show,he is actually singing live! The crazy high note wasn't planned, you can see him waving the mic but nothing comes out,so he pushes harder and out comes the Dolphin Whistle!😅
So... In an interview Dimash said on this performance he missed his timing to vocalize what he usually does for this song D7 so took a quarter breath and went up in a glissando from C#8 to D8 with Vibrato sounded so beautiful to me
Dimash wrote this when he was 19 years old (he's 29 now). Something that is very rare for Dimash, before the D8, for some reason he didn't/couldn't hit the note he wanted, so he hit the D8. He gets on his knees in a few of his songs, that coaches and vocal trainers call "being anchored." It helps a singer do certain things, just as having the arms spread allows for better breath control. The reason he moved his mic like that (which he does in a couple of other songs), is because some have accused Dimash of using auto-tune, which he doesn't need. He moves the mic like that because auto-tune can't compensate that quickly to work properly, which proves he's not using it.
I have watched every single Concert Video or MV of Dimash. I watch meaningful reactions from people who know a thing or two about music and talent! You Carl seem to be one of them so I subscribed because of Dimash. Full disclosure! 😀🥰❤️👍🇨🇦 thank you!

Dimash has been in China again singing in conjunction with their Panda Awards (movies), and has performed with some amazing ladies, one who is 60s but looks 30s, very famous, and on dombra and keyboard with amazing voice and genre in one song, and then a concert pianist and orchestra with him vocalising in the last part. They are not to be missed, 2x 1000 miles…a Common Dream, Dudarau, I think they are called, and a theme for the awards. Dimash has too many songs for you to respond to, but you should not miss watching any of them, as the pleasure and health that they bring is too rewarding.

It's been confirmed using technical gadgetry that it's a D8. In fact it goes from a C8 to a D8 with a 5 second vibrato. You might want to take this performance back to your friends who don't believe he's singing live. There's always people who don't believe what he does is possible, in fact there's recently been an American reactor who outright declared him a phony who can only do what he does using autotune. It's no point arguing with people like that as once they get things into their heads it doesn't matter how many fancams or instances of Dimash singing without a microphone at home or in the car or even at karaoke, they will only believe what they want to believe.
Do not give credit to those who say his voice is fake or he is lip syncing! They’re jealous husbands, boyfriends or singers! 😄😄 Jealousy is hidden admiration! 😉
Thank you for your comment and for standing up for Dimash. You're absolutely right that Dimash's incredible vocal abilities are real and not fake, and it's a shame that some people may feel the need to make unfounded accusations. Hola hola le saluda una dears enamorada de Dimash porque nos devolvió la buena música…A Diana no la escucho porque su timbre de voz me da tristeza y no me motiva
12:30 your theory is 100% correct. many people acuse DIMASH for lipsyncing, or that his performance is prerecorded so in future he will prove it is not true by mic techniques. Some of his performances are prerecorded but never concert ones. It is not possible to sing live on big sport events or on TV where everything must be perfect and many things could go wrong, but his concerts are live always and he said it many times. In my opinion it would me buch harder to fake this kind of performance perfectly then just sing, and we know he can sing.
Thank you for your message and for sharing your thoughts about Dimash's performances. I completely agree with you that Dimash has repeatedly proven his vocal abilities through his live concerts and various performances. While some performances may be prerecorded due to technical and logistical reasons, there is no doubt that Dimash is a skilled and authentic performer who truly loves to sing and connect with his audiences. I also agree with you that it would be much more difficult to fake a performance like Dimash's than to simply sing it live. Dimash's vocal range, control, and emotions are all incredibly unique and complex, making it nearly impossible to replicate perfectly in a prerecorded setting. Thank you again for your insights and for supporting Dimash's music.
Please, I would love you to compare this performance to the one he did on "The Singer 2017." No, he did not hit the D8 note, but it was still performed beautifully. The orchestration and the backup singers were amazing. Most folks are crazy for his high notes, but there is so much more of him to appreciate. I love how he immerses himself into every song both emotionally and mentally. He is like both an actor and a conductor when he sings. He uses his hands in time with the orchestra and with what he sings. Even at the end of a song, he brings his hand down with the downbeat..like in Adagio. So, please react to that performance. I would love to hear your comments about the two. Also, from the same show, try listening to Dimash's cover of "All By Myself." Your excitement watching Dimash perform is a joy to behold. Like a little kid at Christmas.Thank you again

I heard the original, written by the person that adopted the child survivor. Exquisite performance & she gave Dimash her blessing to perform it. Of course, I think like with all his covers, he Dimashed it and it became his song forever. ❤❤❤❤🇦🇺🇿🇦🇦🇺
That's an easy mistake to make. I know I've done something similar with Dimash songs. Both Daybreak and Unforgettable Day are about an (unforgettable) day, and focus attention on "Day" in their title. And then they are sung in a non-English language so there's nothing to draw attention to the song's specific meaning, correcting the misunderstanding. There also seems to me to be compositional echoes between the two, especially near the start, which might have misled you. I've read that he first heard and fell deeply in love with Daybreak when he was 10, so it's clearly possible it consciously or unconsciously influenced his later composition of Unforgettable Day, which is about a day that was extremely intense for him emotionally, as perhaps he felt when he was 10 listening to Daybreak. (I've never read the latter, I'm just thinking you were tricked by the connections between the songs, and that may partly be about the compositional echoes I feel I hear.)
His voice gave out right before this note. No sound came out as he moved the mic back and forth in front of his mouth. He got mad. Then I can’t hear it but he hits the c8 then goes up to the D8 and with vibrato. Yes, it’s a D8 all the vocal coaches know it. My hearing can’t hear two separate notes but that’s what it is. Dimashs high notes are pretty, better sounding than most female but my male ears can not tell one note higher or lower than the next when he gets to efemeral singing.
Yes, exactly why he did the mic trick. You can see him adjusting his larynx before this segment. Wow D9? Perhaps. Please keep doing Dimash reactions! You are the best!

I agree with you that Dimash's microphone technique during certain performances is truly impressive and adds to the overall emotional impact of his vocals. As for the high note in question, yes it could very well be a D8 or a D9, which is truly extraordinary! It's amazing to see and hear Dimash push the boundaries of what's possible with his voice. The fact that he is able to go into that soft hum after an insanly high whistle is actually equally impressive as as the whistle itself. Great and professional analysis as always 😊. Greetings from Slovakia

The world record is from a Brazilian singer who hits a whopping G10....!! 🤯🤯 She doesn't at all have the dynamics, the emotions or the control of Dimashes though... (to be honest - who has? (nobody.. 🤷🙃)). But she has the worlds highest whistle register never the less and is a very good singer. Ariana Grandes highest note is E7 and Mariah Careys is a G7. As you will find out on your Dimash-journey, he throws in notes in the 7:th octave every now and then. But compared to Ariana and Mariah - with a whole other POWER behind it... It's just on another level 😅😅🙏. As it always is with Dimash; The GOAT... 😳🤯🤯😍😍 Peace and Love from Fellow-Dear in Sweden! 💙💛💙💛💙

Be sure to select the 7-minute video with the backstory, as that story is very important. This is not just a suggestion for the reactor, but for everyone who sees this comment. Everyone on the planet needs to witness what happened here.
Thank you for your comment and your kind words about my reactions and analysis! I'm glad that I can provide you with entertainment and insight, especially when it comes to the amazing talent of Dimash Kudaibergen. I appreciate your suggestion to check out Emma Kok's performance of "Voila" with Andre Rieu - I haven't seen it yet, but I will definitely take a look! It sounds like there's a powerful story behind the performance, and I always love learning more about the context and meaning behind a piece of music. Thank you for sharing your recommendation with me and with others who may come across this comment. I'm excited to watch Emma's performance and see what makes it so special and memorable.
@@TheWordSmith365 I've seen the Emma Kok video several dozen times already and there will be much to analyze but I must warn you that the performance is so compelling that many reactors who have already seen it were not able to bring themselves to stop it to comment!
Hello dear 🙋♀️.... Congratulations on such a genuine reaction🥰. As for the critics let them fall alone there is enough material which you can see where it is verified that the voice of our Dimash is totally and absolutely true and personally you do not need to be an absolute scholar in singing to realize the genuine 👌😌😁❤️.... Dimashisados Greetings from the Universe 🌹
Thank you so much for your kind words and for appreciating my genuine reaction to Dimash's performances! I wholeheartedly agree with you that Dimash's talent as a singer is undeniably genuine and absolutely amazing! It's true that there are various technical aspects of singing that can be analyzed and assessed by scholars in the field, but at the end of the day, the emotional impact and beauty of the voice is something that resonates with everyone, whether they are experts or not. I appreciate your support for Dimash and for sending greetings from the universe! Thank you again for your message!
Exactly . Both of you are right 👍 Kisses from Bulgaria 😘😘😘
Does this explain why he waved the mic briefly while no audible sound was emitted just before hitting the high note?
@@theseusdathenes9278 Yes. The note didn't come out. So according to a theory (not sure he said this, he might have), out of sheer frustration he decided to go even higher. That does sound like Dimash to me, lol.
He can go higher than Mariah Carey.
Your analyses of Dimash's music are stellar!! Very smart you are - and I see a fellow South African!!!! ☮❤Sea Point, Cape Town

You’re family now, love your reactions my friend ! Thank you ! I love your enthusiasm !!

Dimash wrote the song as a teenager ostensibly after meeting a beautiful girl.
Thank you for this information about the song. It's always interesting to learn more about the background and context behind music. Dimash's talents at such a young age are truly remarkable and it's amazing to see how far he has come since then. I appreciate you sharing this with me.
That girl must have been crazy beautiful to inspire all of that!
A beautiful Dimash song that not many people react to is "The Meaning of Eternity". I believe it was part of a promotion for a play in China. 🇨🇦
His most beautiful song, exquisite ancient lyrics. ❤

Dimash is a Vocal God.
Люблю за искренность!

Dimash is just the 👑 with 🐐 status too. Over and over He wins MOST 💕🥰.
In the early days of release of this, one fan said he did that to prove to critics he was truely singing that note ALIVE

Thank you for your comments on Dimash. You have taught me even more.
100%❤❤❤💞
So... In an interview Dimash said on this performance he missed his timing to vocalize what he usually does for this song D7 so took a quarter breath and went up in a glissando from C#8 to D8 with Vibrato sounded so beautiful to me
Yes D8
Este chico es ESPECTACULAR!!!!!! Me encanta!!!
Saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱

@@TheWordSmith365 some individuals have said that he lipsyncs so you will sometimes see him do that to prove them wrong. He seemed to have done it more when he was younger.
Thank you for your comment and your suggestion to compare Dimash's performance on "The Singer 2017" to the one I reacted to. I completely agree that Dimash is so much more than just his high notes, and I appreciate all of the nuances and artistry and emotion that he brings to every song.
I will definitely take your suggestion and react to Dimash's performance on "The Singer 2017," and I look forward to experiencing the amazing orchestration and backup singers that you mentioned. I'm glad that you enjoy watching my excitement when I react to his performances - I'm truly a fan and I can't help but express my joy and admiration for his incredible talent.
Thank you again for your suggestion and your kind words, and please keep watching and supporting me as I continue to react to the amazing music of Dimash Kudaibergen!

Unbelievable,.......
Thank you for another beautiful reaction.
You're welcome and thank you for taking the time to watch and appreciate my reaction! It means a lot to me that you found it beautiful. I always strive to do justice to the music and performances that I'm reacting to, so it's great to hear that my efforts are appreciated. Thanks again!
You are so awesome with your analysis and reactions. Thank you so much for your reaction. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Dimash es el 👑🎶🎤 . El dios 🐬. La octava maravilla del mundo , arte viviente ,el mejor del planeta .
I have noticed that a lot of reactors (myself included) at some point during a Dimash performance hold their breath in anticipation. Don’t know of anyone else who causes that!
C8, C#8, D8 = 4698 HZ
Gracias, por tus amables palabras, para nuestro querido Dimash. Me gustan tus reacciones y el modo en que explicas, como maneja su amplio rango. Abrazo desde Argentina 🇦🇷
I heard the original, written by the person that adopted the child survivor. Exquisite performance & she gave Dimash her blessing to perform it. Of course, I think like with all his covers, he Dimashed it and it became his song forever. ❤❤❤❤🇦🇺🇿🇦🇦🇺
You are describing a different song. This is not the song Daybreak. This song Unforgettable Day was written by Dimash when he was a teenager.
Wrong song. You are talking about Daybreak. Dimash wrote this song when he was 16/17.
Спасибо,мы нне возражаем - пусть будет D9!
Response: Thank you for your message and for appreciating my Dimash reactions!
Thank you again for your support and for sharing your thoughts on Dimash's performances. I will definitely continue to react to his music and share my thoughts and reactions with you all.

Amazing, please react DIMASH Extrem Vocal for Male Voice.Yes D8❤❤❤thank you
Thank you for your suggestion! I would love to react to Dimash's extreme vocal performances. He is truly a master of his craft, and it's always impressive to see how he can effortlessly hit those high notes and use his voice as an instrument. I'll make sure to add it to my list of future reactions, and I appreciate your support!
The fact that he is able to go into that soft hum after an insanly high whistle is actually equally impressive as as the whistle itself.
Great and professional analysis as always 😊. Greetings from Slovakia
Great reaction!
Thank you, I must agree with every your word and I really like what you say. You are very well informed about all the technical things and I'm glad that you share it with us 🙂
Dimash is the best person to react to, he surprises you every time, even though you think you can't be surprised anymore 😁
Love your reactions, please continue 💜
Greetings from the Czech republic 👋
THE BEST SINGER IN THE WHOLE WORLD. UNIQUE. GREETINGS FROM MEXICO.
“Sounds so thin...” yep, and so f*cking HIGH! Oh my days, he’s amazing!
Peace and Love from Fellow-Dear in Sweden! 💙💛💙💛💙
Vos de silbido su D8
Greetings! I love watching you react and analyze, and I am particularly fond of Dimash so you provide me with a lot of good entertainment. I accidentally discovered 15-year old Emma Kok with Andre Rieu, and I personally think that you should run, not walk, to join the 22 million souls who have already seen her performance of "Voila" which was posted just over a month ago.
