- Keep in mind the videos are a voice over so I had to cut out all the audio so TH-cam doesn’t kill the videos. That I add the voice when needed.
In this video I’m gonna show you how to replace the torsional rod above the differential it’s the same technique for either one and most trucks. So take a look at yours see see how your bushings look.

I've learned so many things from you since I started truck driver that I can't tell. You are doing a very valuable job. Thank you very much.
Always appreciate that positive feedback. Can’t do it without support from you guys out there. Gets me motivated to actually make some more since I’ve been slacking.
Thank you so much. Your method really worked. Your videos are always very helpful, keep making more!!! I appreciate all your hard work.
Glad it came in handy for you. Hopefully more of the vids on this channel do the same. Keep grinding out there.
I use a forklift to lift up the ass end, help relieve the stress and comes out and goes in a lot easier. I also like the Atros brand, allows to bushing to pivot.
Good video 👍🏼
Done a few of those! They either seem to go back together in 5 minutes, or fight you for an hour no in between lol
That’s exactly it. 50/50 shot of it kicking your ass. I think my longest one was 40 minutes of just trying to figure out different ways to get the p/s to line up with a jacked up alignment on a drive axle.
Do you have to do the alignment after?
So will this also cause trailer to lean and rock when turning or going across rough bridges
Great question. This will affect your tractor more than the trailer. If your trailer of having those issues then I’d be concerned with springs shocks or bags on the trailer
Nice .was this a cascadia?
Yes it was.
can this be done without the impact gun
Yes sir it can be done without an impact. But you have to remember those are usually rusted on there and require crazy torque to remove. So unless you have arms like The Rock a gun will be your new best friend. You can try a breaker bar and socket but spray those bolts down with penetrating oil first.
Is the volume supposed to go in and out?
Yes because it’s a voiceover. All the audio had to be cut out during filming.
@@bustedknucklebydieseldr3228 Dang that sucks
What happened to the sound
TH-cam tends to cut out my sound when they say there’s a copyright issue. Sometimes I’ll try to beat them and I cut out all the sound I just do voice overs so one or the other happend
Could have been a good lesson but you have sound problems. The audio cuts out intermittently.
I know it’s so sad. TH-cam tends to cut out my sound when they hear a copyright issue.
He’s not a pro.
On a box truck do you need a wheel alignment after replacing this?
Great question. No you do not. Is it recommended, yes. Something is moving
