If you’re doing a smash dark Link I’d recommend starting with the Twilight Princess Link amiibo. He’s from a much later generation of amiibo after Nintendo realized the value inherent to these things. As such he has a significantly more detailed sculpt that will result in a nicer looking figure. The downside of course is that TJ’s how to doesn’t apply as much because TP Link is in a completely different position from Smash Link so you’ll have to figure out how to repose it yourself.
