  • Hi and thank you for visiting my channel today.
    First of my apologies, I am not sure what happens to the sound in the middle of this video it was lost. However you can still watch along and see the progress.
    I hope you enjoy this video on how to make master boards for your journals. I love making these boards. They are so handy to have in your ephemera collection. They can be cut up into tags or used as pockets, tuck spots and used as an entire decorative page.
    You can also scan them and have them printed to use over and over again!
    In this video I also show you how I store my scraps and how I prep them so they are ready to go when the mood hits for making master boards. Some people might call them “Frankin’ pages” Whatever you want to call them they are an excellent source of quick and ready to use ephemera.
    Materials
    Scrap papers
    Ink
    Glue stick

    I can't overstate how much I love your process, for so many reasons! I love the idea of using even scraps, and I love the idea of letting the process itself guide you, and I love the whimsy/style overall. Thank you so much for sharing your thought processes and your work, it's so generous of you.

    I love using scraps and I use 99% of even the tiniest. They all look good when you glue them together, paint over them, layer them, etc.

    I would like to see how you cut them into tags as well. How would you treat them as book markers. Should I seal them?

    • @thecreativecove6898
      @thecreativecove6898  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can do another video on that process. I don’t seal them it’d they are just being used in junk journals. You can seal them with modge podge if you wanted them sealed. 😊

    Why the different glue for the watercolor tree? Wow all that in 30 minutes. I’ve got to learn to work faster.

    • @thecreativecove6898
      @thecreativecove6898  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I used the 3 in 1 glue for the watercolour paper because this watercolour paper is a very heavy weight and need a stronger glue. If all your scraps are prepared you’ll be amazed how fast this goes. 😊
