    Love your paper, all the textures and layers. The long beetle looks like a giant water bug.

    I love how they turned out. I'm going to make some as they would be perfect embellishments for a nature journal I'm working on. Thank you!

    I love the texture and look of the neutral strips before you did anything else to it. I've never tried it with just neutrals because most of my scraps are colorful scrapbook papers or text. I will try this!

      That’s the fun of a master board you can stop at any point and use the strips for other things or carry on and keep going, to embellish further and further 🦋

    I love making master boards like this. I usually flip it and cut it from the back so I'm not influenced to chop it up a certain way. It's my favorite way to get rid of scraps. 😁

    I think the very large beetle stamp is a Cicada. Great video.

    Very fun project! I think I’ll replay it tomorrow when I can stamp along with you. I love that you’ve torn out the insects to make interesting embellishments. And speaking of insects…I do believe your unidentified beetle is a cockroach.

    • @TheTreasuredPage

      A Cockroach yes of course!! Thank you for that. Yes definitely stamp along with me, it’s fun and very therapeutic. Thanks for your lovely encouragement.

    Glad I found ya! Been looking for different types of glue that work that aren't too expensive. Junk journaling for a bit now, but what is PVA glue, I'd like to try this. thank you for sharing

    • @TheTreasuredPage
      @TheTreasuredPage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      PVA glue is usually a white school glue in the UK similar to Elmers glue in the US. It’s just a little more runny. It’s waterbased and can be diluted to make a glaze for decoupage or paper maché. It’s a cheap wet glue. More recently we have seen a clear version. It’s also non toxic and very versatile. Thank you so much for your kind comments

    I also just come across your page as well and subscribed right away. I have made a masterboard before but it has been a few years. Have you ever created a masterboard and then after you create it you turn it over and cut it up looking at the backside without looking at the front. I have not done this yet. I have seen it done on TH-cam but it was done by collage and the papers already had images Thanks for the inspiration. I am in the US

    Just remembered that I've been meaning to ask you the brand of your tear ruler. I keep collecting them but nothing ever works the way I want it to. Yours looks like a great one though.

    • @TheTreasuredPage
      @TheTreasuredPage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bought my rip ruler on Esty from Ed’s Emporium however he is currently closed at the moment. Some are available on Amazon.

      I have found that metal ones with a cork or silicone backing to keep them from slipping once you start tearing; or with a silicone strip going up one side and preventing the slipping also both work great for me. I did buy a set of 3 with off eBay that I like so far. Just got them last week. They hav a slot in the center but I am not sure what it’s for. They are thin and can bend but don’t seem to unless u do it on purpose. One side has a gentle roll as it’s design. The other has a much smaller but nearly natural looking tear design. Best designs I have had on one so far tho.

      @vel0811 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I've had the one with the slit in the middle but I don't have it anymore. I need to look for that. Thanks for the reminder!
