I want to say this. The Kamloops Indian Band really knew what they were doing when they made Jordan a Range Rider! He does such an amazing job looking out for the wild horses in your area!
She has a similar blaze to them, I guess they are too shy to get closer? Wind blowing towards them, but your scent & gers 🤔😒🤗💯👏 Ps I guess the Stalluon wkn't allow Mum to find her baby, rebred already?
You gave this precious filly a chance to find her way back to her herd, but it wasn’t meant to be. The next best chance for her is with you, and I have no doubt you’ll do everything in your power to see her succeed. Kachina would be my name suggestion, it means “dancing spirit”, and as she is leggy and graceful, it would suit her imho. Thanks for all you and your family do to support the wild horses and to care for the orphans.💕
People like you give us hope in humanity. God Bless you for saving this baby and trying to reunite her with the herd. I don't know where you are but it looks heavenly!
God bless you both for trying to get her back with her herd. God knows she'll be well cared for in your hands. God works in mysterious ways and even though we don't always understand the reason behind everything the real reason will be revealed to us in His timing.
She's a keeper! She"s so smart wanting back to the trailer; that barb wire made me nervous if she spooked she'll be a stunning mare with those blue eyes thanks for sharing
You guys have the best intentions for these little foals. I wish this had worked out. But I’m the end, the foal is safe, fed, and cared for. Good try, even if it didn’t work out.
I am so proud of you two for trying to reunite her with the herd. We know that would be for the best and that's what you wanted, but I am sure she will grow up strong and healthy and well loved in your care!
Thanks for taking us along! It was an amazing attempt. Sorry, it just didn't work out 😢 Looking forward to watching her new life with you and her new horse friends. BEST to the new baby 🐴 and the hard, but loving, care ahead...💖 💟 💕
You are such wonderful stewards of these beautiful horses [and foals]. The little one will do so great-im with another person that left a message-I am looking forward to watching her grow!😊
You made a great effort to reunite baby and mom. She will have a great life with you both. What she looses in being bottle fed, she gains much in tick relief, vet care, loving people around, and much more...
You two are amazing. Thank you for your dedication to the wild horses and their babies! I’m sad that the BLM caved and wants to rid the wild lands of wild horses. I support groups who are fighting to save them.
You two are without a doubt the BEST. To try to get her back with the herd is amazing. To bad it didn’t work but I think u have a super sweetie now. 🥰🥰
Might not be worth the time and effort. She said the horses had full attention on the foal. If no mare came to claim her, then that's pretty much that. Candice said they stayed out there quite a long time.
You gave her a beautiful "choice" and she picked YOU. I look at this as a blessing in full because she had the opportunity to pick the life she wanted, felt safe with, and chose home with you two. We also have no way of knowing if her mom abandoned her or a stallion chased her out of the herd or some other event that spooked her to leave the herd in the first place. She acted not too crazy about being near the herd, like she knew she wasn't welcome, not the attitude I would have expected. Their instincts run so deep and strong we may never truly understand or relate to all of what they sense. So it all seems simple to me; God gave her to you guys for a reason and that's that. Thank you for sharing this event with us. Beautiful. ❤
Ohh poor baby girl, it must be so confusing for her. What would have happened if you had not had a ranch so close?? I hate to think of the outcome. Nature is tough. Glad you guys are their guardian angels.
Thank you for trying. I have not watched it to end, yet, but,I’m thinking that the herd would never get her if you are both near by….do you leave.farther away to take the pressure off them…?
Happy Gotcha Day to Ranger!! You both tried to reunite the little one with the herd and her Mom. I’m sorry it didn’t work. Maybe you can call her Annie? Like little orphan Annie?
Our 'assignment is to do the best that we can'. Thank you for including us in the difficult attempt. When we see, we can better understand . The young foal now becomes dependent on you two. I pray that the foal and you two may be able to enrich each other's lives and become family. We see that you are willing; may the foal adapt to you both so it can survive and grow into what it was created for. Blessings, Grace and Shalom to you all.
Horses respond strongly to comfort and although this baby is wild, she will forever be imprinted with the comfort you provided her. She was miserable with ticks and who knows maybe she would not have survived them. Some do, some do not.
Every mare recognizes her own foal's voice...scent plays a big part also...a separation of several days would preclude a regular bond from reforming sadly. Baby is in a better place with you two! Nice try though.
Aww, that stinks ! You guys did a great job trying, tho! So look into food grade diatomaceous earth flea and tick control 40 lbs bag. You can get it at any tractor supply. It's the best! Just with any powder, you don't want to breathe it in. Also, look into using it for worming 😊 Stay blessed
Aww guys at least you tried to get her back to her mother, sorry it didn’t work out, but she’s in safe hands now, and don’t forget to check for ticks too, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Here's an idea you might try. I was watching a dog rescue video on TH-cam where the mother dog had clearly just given birth to a litter of puppies. The rescuers caught the mother dog, but they couldn't leave the puppies hidden in the woods, because the puppies would starve to death and die. So, the rescuers found a recording online of baby puppies whining for their mother. They played the recording for the mother, and she led them to her puppies. The whole litter was rescued. Maybe if you were able to amplify the sound a foal winnowing for the mother horse, the herd would respond. With the sound of the traffic passing by and the wind blowing, the herd probably couldn't hear the foal's cries. I don't know, just a thought. Great channel, keep up the good work.
Sadly it was too windy to use the drone at the time, it would have just been carried off by the wind or crashed to the ground somewhere. It's a good idea under better weather conditions.
well you tried 😰 and that counts for something! she seemed really fixated on that fence though, and especially with the fact that it was broken and she was at that site, i feel like mom went that way? idk though because you think someone would've seen that horse if she went that way. it's a real mystery
Guess she was just meant to take the roads you can provide for her. She will be a great horse for someone, but you had to try. Thank you for caring so much.
You both tried so hard, it's admirable. Seems to me, the longer mother and foal are separated, the harder it might be to get them back together. Or maybe not, I know next to nothing. Still, you did your best and your viewers appreciate you.
She knows where she's safe. As for names, Sassafras comes to mind, Sassy for short. Little Miss Sassafras, lol. As much independence as she shows, she may have come from a lead mare, someone high on the hierarchy. She will be really smart and easy to train.
I suppose it could have been a different herd. Seems like some of them would have checked her out or if she had a mother, she would have come. I hope all those horses don't have ticks but I bet they do.
I was hoping you would be able to try. Glad someone suggested checking her ears. I also wonder, with the herd being so close and no mare checking baby out, if the mom died and that's the reason she was abandoned. She looks so much like Ranger at that age, I wonder if they might be related.
I just remembered today that on another channel, they used recordings of horse's calling and neighing on thier phones while doing photo shoots to get thier attention and focus. It works very well. What if you recorded the baby and then used a bullhorn to amplify the calls to get the herd- possible mommas attention?
Dang cute and so spunky! 100% effort for you and Jordan to try and get her reintroduced. Perhaps her Mum is not part of that herd or perhaps something happened to Mum. Looking forward to watching her grow up. Bless you both.
She seems to have chosen her own destiny. Thank you for giving her every chance to live free. Seems to me if the mom was with the herd she would have claimed her. ❤
I want to say this. The Kamloops Indian Band really knew what they were doing when they made Jordan a Range Rider! He does such an amazing job looking out for the wild horses in your area!
wait, this is in kamloops??
@@13wolfy13Yes, I believe so! They have mentioned it a few times over the years,
@@pattimessenger6214 I didn't know there were feral horses in Canada. Thanks for the heads up. I'm new to this channel so it's kind of cool!
Awww, such a great effort trying to reunite baby and mama. I guess you have a new member in your herd.
I was worried about the stallions attacking her. . . At least THAT part went right!!!
Baby: "Feral No More", Ranch life is cushy, I Really like being a special 🐎princess👸"
Finding her in such an unusual place sourrounded by concrete pipe, what about naming the foal Piper?
Love that!
Perfect name for the girl! Call her Piper!
I concur
Piper! Perfect Name for a pretty girl
So glad you tried, but really not surprised with the outcome. I know you will love and give her the best possible care.
No!! She ran the right way😂😂😂
She does not want any more of those nasty wood ticks. She wants that nice clean barn and her bucket of milk!!
🤩🥰🙏🇺🇲
❤❤❤❤👍
She has a similar blaze to them, I guess they are too shy to get closer? Wind blowing towards them, but your scent & gers 🤔😒🤗💯👏
Ps I guess the Stalluon wkn't allow Mum to find her baby, rebred already?
Great effort.
Lovely sweet philly. She knew what she wanted.
What a shame the baby and her mum didn’t reconnect. That would have been so wonderful. Thank you for trying.
At least you tried. You're mum and dad again!❤ Love to the little one❤
Oh, I just got another look at her beautiful eyes!
I sure appreciate you trying to reintroduce her to the herd. You tried. What a loving thing to do.
You gave this precious filly a chance to find her way back to her herd, but it wasn’t meant to be. This is a beautiful name and I love it!
Love this name! I think it suits her well
Great name!
I love the Kachina name for the filly too
I like the name Kachina it fits her.💕🐎
Bless you, Bless you sooo much for your compassion and hard work 🙏🙏🙏
She's just Precious♥️
She feels safe with you. What a lucky baby. She would not have survived without you.
Maybe her mother was hurt somehow, and she’s just not in the herd anymore?
I really hope someone takes a ride to see if she’s hurt or stuck in a mud pit!
I really hope someone takes a ride to see if they can find her. She could be hurt or stuck in a mud pit.

She will turn out to be an amazing horse to help in future reunions. She's a beautiful little girl.
Not going to lie I wanted the baby to stay 😊
Thank you both for your Patience and persistence in this matter.
She seems like a very docile and sweet horse
Thanks for taking us along! It was an amazing attempt. Sorry, it just didn't work out 😢
Looking forward to watching her new life with you and her new horse friends. BEST to the new baby 🐴 and the hard, but loving, care ahead...💖 💟 💕
Look's like another cutie has joined the gang , the more the merrier and Ranger welcomed her and looked on approvingly. 🐴💕😍❤️

She is meant to be yours. Lucky, lucky girl
It’s a shame that she didn’t reconnect with her mum, but she’s got a good life ❤
That baby was loke. " take me back to your home"! Life is hard out here and i dont want any more ticks. She probly feels the love from ya all to.
You two are amazing. Thank you for your dedication to the wild horses and their babies! I’m sad that the BLM caved and wants to rid the wild lands of wild horses. I support groups who are fighting to save them.
Little Orphan Annie. Shes a smart one. Life is easier on the ranch.
Thanks for all you do! They make a fuzzy microphone called a mouse that helps with the wind. ❤
I'm looking forward to watching her story - she is such a cutie and lucky to have found a wonderful new family!
How about the name Piper. She was found between the cement culverts so Piper makes sense. She is just beautiful
She is so beautiful...Call her Twiggy...after the British Icon Model of the 60s...
Elsa as a name as she was born free but frozen out of the herd! She will thrive with you.
You two are without a doubt the BEST. To try to get her back with the herd is amazing. To bad it didn’t work but I think u have a super sweetie now. 🥰🥰
Bummer! So sad it didn't work out! Can you try again? Thank you for all that you do for these little ones 😊
Might not be worth the time and effort. She said the horses had full attention on the foal. If no mare came to claim her, then that's pretty much that. Candice said they stayed out there quite a long time.
@@watch-me-now9531But,the horses won’t come if the people are around,right? Darn… Still,gratitude for trying…

0.40 is that an eagle, playing on the wind?! That is quite amazing!
Happy you're gonna take care of this scared fur baby! Excited to see how she is during the next few weeks. Love this!

Pehyokatey….. means alone… in cree! You guys do amazing work!
You did your best! This foal has the best chances now, staying with you!
Happy Gotcha Day to Ranger!! You both tried to reunite the little one with the herd and her Mom. I’m sorry it didn’t work.
Maybe you can call her Annie? Like little orphan Annie?
That’s a cute name for her❤
Misty
I’m so grateful you tried. I’m sure all the horses are suffering with the volume of ticks this season. Not seeing many foals.
Our 'assignment is to do the best that we can'. Thank you for including us in the difficult attempt. When we see, we can better understand . The young foal now becomes dependent on you two. Ember would be a good name!
I wonder what would happen if you played baby calls over a speaker
Every mare recognizes her own foal's voice...scent plays a big part also...a separation of several days would preclude a regular bond from reforming sadly. Baby is in a better place with you two! Nice try though.
That baby knows you got rid of the ticks and now wants to stay with you forever!
Interesting, can you give her a tick treatment like a dog, to provide her with enduring protection?
Tick prevention like Equi-Spot and ProForce 50 are not recommended for foals, but they work on adult horses.
Oh well, she is yours now! Thank you for saving her.
Aww, that stinks ! You guys did a great job trying, tho!

Thanks for trying to reunite this precious baby with the herd. ❤
Run's back to the trailer, ready to go home 😂❤
Maybe the mother rejected that happens in tamed mares
Weird how she so strongly decided on her own direction.
I have so much respect for you guys and attempting the reunification. Thank you for all you do!😊
All you can do is try. She is use to you and Jordan. You will do the best for her.❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for trying! That was a lot of work that not everyone would do.
Aww guys at least you tried to get her back to her mother, sorry it didn’t work out, but she’s in safe hands now, and don’t forget to check for ticks too, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
The mum of this cutie pie is you both now. She made her decision ❤
Here's an idea you might try. I was watching a dog rescue video on TH-cam where the mother dog had clearly just given birth to a litter of puppies. Sorry it didn’t work, always impressed with your effort❤
Oh goodness. What an adventure. Would have been great for a mare to claim her. But she is definitely yours now. Precious little girl. 💗
You could have steered them towards the foal with the drone not enough to spook them but to get them to leave the area
Sadly it was too windy to use the drone at the time, it would have just been carried off by the wind or crashed to the ground somewhere. It's a good idea under better weather conditions.
I was so hoping she would get back to the herd, but you tried. 😊
She is gorgeous
Oh bless you for trying, you really are awesome guys. I know it’s disappointing but she’s in the most beautiful hands with you both. ❤
I love how the goals walk so well next to Jordan!
I wonder if she's Ranger's little sister... DNA test could show that.😊
Thank you for protecting the wild horses And the little ones too

She needs a strong name like Eleanor Josephine, Anne Marie, Hannah, Stella, any way can not wait to know what you name her.
Hope alls well. Would love an see an update on all the babies.
