You said you sewed 2 lines? When attaching straps or making dog collars/leashes, etc. sew 2 lines with an X between makes the strongest attachment by spreading the "pull" over a larger area. My apologies if that is what you did. I'v made lots of animal products/bags and the boxedX is always how I sew straps of every kind. Have you thought of selling your shirts? They look beautiful and I bet they will sell well at shows and rodeos.

I'm not sure why, but sewing machines have been my life long bugbear. I can do anything by hand; knit, crochet, embroider, and needle pointed an entire dining room suite by the time I was 12. Put a sewing machine in front of me, and I'm hopeless, and usually wounded.
