I hate the way people are piling on Candice for being her self. It's not nice at all. Really vile comment from a troll on the previous video. We are all different and communicate differently. Horse too have preferences. Ranger for example preferred Candice.
@@NM-ub6ml exactly.Candace and Jordan are both wonderful in connecting with these powerful and sensitive creatures. Let Jordan enjoy being favored…I see Piper is already balancing that scale!
Jordan’s understanding, commitment, and gentle mastery of these magnificent creatures is incredible! Love that he explains to us novices what, why and how he’s going about winning this little filly over, all whilst comforting her. Such a master! Thank you! More like this video, please! We love you too, Candice, but watching Jordan in this unique filly situation is fascinating! So glad you rescued her! 💕
Such a sassy girl. She's gonna be a handful..in the best possible way. Looking forward to her journey with you all. Such a fan of what you do with these feral foals.
They start getting some teeth in at about 12-14 days old so that's when they will start to nibble on grass, pasture & hay They are so adorable! 💜🐎💜👍🏻💜🐎💜
She's such a pretty little filly with her blue eye!! Jordan has such a calm way about him - it's no surprise she feels comfortable around him. I'm glad she finally let Candice (sp?) pet her, though. Best wishes for this little gal moving forward!
Jordan said she pins her ears at him also, not really less, just generally wary of humans but likes both of you and associates both of you with food and pats. The name Piper is great! So far strong and positive personality.
Piper Is looking healthier! She coat is beautiful and she seems far more comfortable with no ticks. You guys came along at the right time. It would be nice to see her with the zoomies. And I’m glad to see her interacting even a little with the herd.
I envy the life Jordan is experiencing. Helping the young horses and living in the country. I doubt that I’m alone in my desire to be happy and live like Jordan, instead of the points stagnation of city life and the internet. You rock, Jordan!
Exciting update! Great to see all the progress she has made physically, nutritionally & emotionally. Thanks for all u do for the all the 'ponies' in your care. Thanks for sharing! Missouri, USA
Oh now she LOVES this man. That ears laid back approach to him letting him know she loves and appreciates him. This made my day. Hug this young man for me. I don't see this very often but when I do it makes my day❤️
Yes, I think so, too…..Jordan has a more quiet, gentle manner and Jordan was the first human Piper came in contact with! Jordan allowed Piper to follow him at first sight, as he rescued her. I really believe animals never forget that first kind person who rescues them! Jordan is very good with his soft, kind voice and easy going manner! Horses respond to than a little easier!❤️🥰💖🥰❤️🥰💖
Thank you for Piper’s update. And thank you for taking your time with her and starting her with gentle kindness while setting boundaries as she learns to be part of your herd.
Love your videos. Your horsemanship is wonderful. ❤🐎❤ Wish the audio was better. There's much wind noise & Jordan's voice is inaudible much of the time.🥺
Check your computer settings, the sound is better than average for me. If you are watching on a phone, you might need to brush out your speaker holes. Hope that helps.
Jordan definitely a Horse whisper its so wonderful to watch him n the love n trust the horses have with him . Piper will come to love you Camilla just like Jordan shes so beautiful reminds me of Ranger as a baby
How blessed this little filly is to have you both!!! You guys are great! I love how Jordan is trying to win her over - it’s working!! I see a noticeable difference in the videos you have posted since you found her until this video. It’s a world of difference!! & that’s coming from someone who knows nothing abt horses!! Piper (love her name) is very sweet!!!
Aww. It’s so heartwarming to see Piper making such progress. She’s realizing she’s safe now and can trust you and the other horses. She and the two of you are truly blessed. ❤
Thank you for all the kind efforts. Your nature and accumulated experience are a blessing for all the horses you know. Candace too has a lovely, encouraging voice. A winning complementarity for your horses.
You guys are so awesome to take in these little babies and get them healthy and integrated into your herd. ❤ I feel a special bond with this sassy girl. My last girl-cat was named Piper. Adopted her as a nine-year-old and only had her for about three years (already had advanced kidney disease), but she was the sweetest kitty. Love that your newest rescue has the same name. Look forward to watching her grow up via your channel.
Maybe Piper's defensive behavior indicates a low herd standing of her mom. Low standing mares and their foals take a beating from more dominant mares. It would also make Piper much more leery of all other horses since she might have been picked on by a lot of the horses in her herd. Poor kid has a complex from being bullied! It isn't just that she lays her ears back, her whole face tightens up and then the STARE of DEATH shoots out. I wonder if she'll grow out of that?
cadice...i can see that you both are very good with animals. do you think that piper wants jordan for herself ? i can't figure out why she treats you so differently. p.s. i know now that you are canadian...so am i.
I lost 2 mares last year one during foaling together one a week later , l milked the dead mare and gave the colostrum to the foal , then l used lambs milk powder to feed both foals , weaned them from milk and fed lambs milk pellets , for 4 months , then hay , horse nuts , now one is 1 year old and the other is10 months , both well mannered , good growth .... good luck with your orphan foals and a big thank you!
You are both doing a wonderful job with this little filly. Can you tell me why her right eye looks different from her left eye? Is it a genetic mutation or is there a problem?
Maybe it's Jordan's quiet gentle voice that gives her confidence
He’s also getting down at her level.

Piper needs that mental stimulation and social interaction as much as she needs milk and safety! You guys do an amazing job with these little orphans!

I have thought the same thing.
He's just magical with them ❤
She’s doing well and starting to settle in, I love her feisty attitude I think she’s going to be quite a character.
I am glad she is starting to accept where she is.
Her little ears! 😂💖 She so expressive!

Great that you are giving her a home and the chance of a good life.🎉
it's interesting to see how how you guys are teaching her the social aspects of being a horse in addition to meeting her physical needs.
She is so cute! Her ears look so enormous, very expressive red horse ears!
Hey, where'd them ribs go?!!!
Piper: Jordan is the best Mama ever!🥰
Happy to see she is doing better!
Love her spunkiness! Thank you for the update!
Quell'occhio azzurro.....che ragazza affascinante diventerà 🎉😊😊
Awe, I asked you gave. ❤
Just today, I asked Candice to post showing Jordan and Piper. It is so cute how Piper is with Jordan.
Thank you, Candice ❤

She sure is looking good, .. getting a kick outta those pinned ears.... so cute. I think she is going to be a pretty good size, with lots of sass.....

Beautiful eyes ❤
It's so good of you to save her.😊❤❤❤
Thank You Jordan
Piper is so cute. She is so fortunate that you found her. Does she have 1 or 2 blue eyes?
looks like it
Love that and big white face
Hey there Jordan,piper love,s you..tc all of you.❤
Wonderful baby steps!
Her momma must've been very bossy 😂
So lovely to see her thriving. She would’ve died without your care! Blessings on you.

Does one have to consider gastric ulcers when caring for a neonate? I know the condition is common in mature horses
@@redbirdsfan8341 I don't recall them ever mentioning gastric ulcers. There have been occasional diarrhea problems.
A lot of personality in this little red head. You all do great work. 🐎😊
All the horses love Jordan. Look at that cranky baby sidle up to him for scratches.
She’s too precious.
Piper is doing well I see... Thanks for sharing her with us. Love to y'all

She is simply adorable!
Lots to think about and discover for her. This is great. I've never seen a more skilled mare face!😡😆😠😁🦄
Thank God you found her and she has a chance at life. She’s a beautiful foal.🤗❤️
She needs to meet Ranger. They may be brother and sister.
You guys are fantastic with her, I love the one blue eye she has so adorable. She'll warm up soon
Aww. It’s so heartwarming to see Piper making such progress. She’s realizing she’s safe now and can trust you and the other horses. She and the two of you are truly blessed.

Piper is coming around! She’ll be like James someday!❤️😀🐗🐎
Aww❤, pretty soon she'll be playing & running around.
Thank you for all the kind efforts. Your nature and accumulated experience are a blessing for all the horses you know. Candace too has a lovely, encouraging voice. A winning complementarity for your horses.
The ear pinning is just letting you know her opinion about things. She has the making of an alpha mare; every herd needs one.😉
She seems to be a daddy’s girl. 😂
Utterly goregous eyes..they are captivating
You guys are wonderful with these babies! Thank you for doing the rescue work. ❤❤❤
great video love what you do for the lost foals , like your sweat shirt too keep up the great work

Yes! Lots of "feralfoaling" videos!
You are both doing a wonderful job with this little filly. Can you tell me why her right eye looks different from her left eye? Is it a genetic mutation or is there a problem?
Probably genetic. The vets checked her over.
@@ronmccabe7164 Thank you for replying.
She is the feral Piper and Jordan is the Pied Piper because the baby horses follow him.
❤❤❤❤
Hip hip hurray 🎉🎉🎉

🥰
I just noticed she's got one green cremelo eye and one normal brown one.
Can you Please say what ever happen to Sage and Shadow? Thanks 🤗
Sage and Shadow were re-homed about 2 years ago. They went to horse therapy groups. Candice posted an update on sage a couple of months ago.
Is she an appaloosa?
Piper is very clear in her ear-o-grams: don't touch me; back off; unless you are Jordan :)
?earmail?
Do you have to worry about ulcers in babies this age?
My observations over the years is no. Sometimes the foals get some diarrhea and have to switch to a different formula.
Ranger was soooooo snuggly. I didn’t know that was even a thing until y’all started posting him snuggling.
Can she nurse from the other mare that just had a foal?
