Hi fellow Once! Actually it was 3d printed from Thingiverse. If you have a 3d Printer you can print it here also: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4241926 What did you think? Will you get a Deck or? Thanks for your comment and view!
Got the ally x and was thinking of getting the white oled as a backup mainly cause the screen. 🤔 would you recommend to wait for when a steamdeck 2 comes if it does? Since ally x and these still have about the same specs?
@RangerxTurbo great question. IMO you have basically the best mainstream handheld PC right now so unless you really need a backup, it's not really needed. Especially since Bazzite is available on the Ally X AFAIK as well. For SD2, though it's been confirmed, it's probably going to be another year at least unless Valve surprises us. At that point though you could argue then you could turn your Ally X into a backup.
@gamers-generation well thanks for responding. Yes i will probably wait than hope they upgrade to a 1080p screen oled for the sd2. What is bazzite? I'm not too into all this tech i mainly just download a few games and play haven't even adjusted my ally system settings cause idk what is best
Valve has stated there will not be a steamdeck 2 for awhile. They are waiting until they can make massive upgrades in nearly every aspect of the device. The change to oled so quickly after launch was more so a "hotfix" for the hardware, and they stated that wont be the norm. If you want one you are likely waiting 2-3 years before a steamdeck 2.
I am upgrading from the 64gb launch model. To the steam deck oled 1tb model, and boy i never noticed how much i am missing in its whole features.and i needed to upgrade anyways due to using and some faults i sadly made along the way so yeah.
If you don't mind sharing the "faults" you're referring to, I'd love to know, we all make mistakes after all. As you said, it really is a big difference, it's just hard for me to say "professionally" speaking that it's worth a switch over, since it is a hassle and a decent chunk of change to do so, not that it isn't worth it though. Thanks for your comment!
@gamers-generation Yeah it was basicaly a fall test at the work i was doing in summer two years ago so yeah it got worn out sadly pretty quickly so that's that.
@Cookieman245YO ahhh I gotcha. Sorry, that's unfortunate. I have gone through 3 Decks myself technically between buying and setting up for friends and so I definitely agree the upgrade is pretty huge. What do you like to play on the OLED these days?
Thanks best kitten! My creators worked very hard to create a very mediocre (and thus believable) organic complexion. Shots of myself were using the OBSBOT Meet 2, and the other shots were mostly with the Sony ZV-E1! Thanks for stopping by! I mean ztopping by!
@@GeekEKittenGaming Not really, it's like $2000 for the body alone lollll... I got a good deal on it but even then, hindsight 20:20, I probably would have just spent a little more/less on an A7c/A7cii or something like that. DM me what price range you're looking at and I can recommend you some stuff!
I have the ally z1 extreme but i hate the batery, i heard that steam is like a console just turn on and play like a nintendo switch....so do you recommend me to sell my rog and go for that oled steam? Thanks a lot
Hi there, thanks for your comment and sorry for the late response. I understand the frustration with the Z1E battery on the Ally. That said, personally, I'd just go one of two routes, installing Bazzite/SteamOS as an alternative and then if that still doesn't result in the battery life I want, I'd supplement with a power bank. I think that way you can basically get a Steam Deck experience with more performance, since it really is much more console like than Windows. What do you think you'll do?
Girls’ Generation and TWICE memes in a gaming-related video?! Auto-subscribe. I was waiting for XG to appear but that was reaching. You made fair points for Steam Deck though which I also own and really love these days.
Ahhh a cultured soul after my own heart! Thanks so much for your comment! Sorry, I'm embarrassed to say I don't really know XG, but you've encouraged me to go and dive in, so thank you! Also thank you for your awesome comment, you've made my day! What do you play on your Deck?
Great and tough question. I'd have to think more about that but assuming they were the same price, I'd say go with the one you see yourself using more and playing more games on (for example, do you play COD? Apex? GTAV? (and VI when it comes out)? If not, OLED Deck will serve you well, but if you do play those games with anti-cheat, long term the Go will do better despite having only 16GB of RAM.
I only play single-player games, not competitive ones. But my only question about oled is whether it is good enough for AAA games with decent settings. Like cyberpunk, Tsushima, last of us 1
@@horticultural261Steam deck is not suitable for triple A games. If you want to play those get a windows handheld or ally x is best and load bazzite on it if you want the SD os experience.

I love this new video format! ❤ Also did the sound get better??
Great video as always! 🎉
Thank you my friend. I'm not sure? I did put a bit more effort into it than isual.
@@gamers-generation The effort shows. :-)
Sir where did you get that twice logo on the left. I want it. And I also want a steam deck so I’m looking at review vids

there is definitely a good market for this thing, personally still am very happy with my g1 steamdeck after a year
100% Handheld revolution lets gooooooo
Can the steam deck play the dvd ROM games that's installed on your computer??
I use it everyday while bed rotting, I highly recommend it.
The best kind of bed rotting amirite?
What is bed rotting
@tiaanherselman1343 just as it sounds. Slang for lying in bed just doing whatever you want these days haha.
@@gamers-generation how do you get rich if you do that? You don't deserve a steam deck haha
