Because steam deck is not like those Chinese toys rog and go any year a new model and it was supposed to be longer age than Playstation like between 7-9 for new model
My toughest decision on a daily basis is whether to play my Steam Deck OLED or my Ally X running Bazzite. As much as I love the extra power (and added frames), there’s something about that SD resting so comfortably in your hands. So torn about which to use as a daily driver.
I have a first batch Steam Deck, I feel the upgrade to a mid-tier is worth the buy if you are a heavy battery user (me). My daughter can get a LCD with a 512 SSD while I put my 2tb on the mid-tier OLED.
can you please tell me what shell / skin you are using. I also love the orange under the joy. do they still have touch sense, want to know cause I want to use gyro. thanks
I'm waiting for my SD OLED to arrive and I'm going to use it as a PC since my desktop is not working anymore and I travel a lot. My question is, do I need antivirus? The internet says you don't need but it's good to have, but then they say the antivirus for Linux is useless... What is your opinion and if you have a recommendation for antivirus
Most viruses aren't made with Linux in mind TBH. I don't really use antivirus myself. If you want you can use antivirus on Linux but do know that it'll affect your performance.
I feel like theses models shouldn't be just limited editions why not just make mods so that way we all can experience it instead of spending another 600 something dollars with no major changes specs wise that makes more sense instead of steam taking the iPhone route but other companies been doing this remember the GBA PS2 GameCube N64 even the original Xbox had a green transparent color way
@ performance is better since games can run above 60hz in the 80ish fps range, there are a lot of higher spec PC games that play similar to desktop PC on SD OLED that couldn’t run satisfactorily on the LCD model. I’m happy with my SD and have already sold off all my modded Windows handhelds due to the various issues each of them had.
There's error in your video steam deck lcd had better buttons quality than the oled and the plastic used stronger and more fit unlike oled model had weak buttons like of those unoriginal ps4 controller and the plastic tuch had noises and the reason valve made the orgianl deck to be stronger and they made more test videos unlike the oled was made after fans asked valve to made deck and less heavier i don't understand why i used my lcd deck more than the oled maybe because the tuch and the buttons make it better
Now with audio!
YAY =D but i do miss the old version because it simulated my Steam Deck when the audio would stop working which always required a restart to fix lol
In 3D!
I don't need it. I don't need it. But just in case, I have it on my calendar.
@@CuriousTinkering you need it :p
A new steam deck might not be coming for 1-2 years, so I wouldn't suggest waiting to someone who doesn't own one and wants to get it

But the minute I buy the OLED (have lcd since day 1) they will announce sd2. I guarantee it.

which one do you prefer when playing RDR2, cyberpunk, elden ring, dg3, etc? The oled screen worth the performance lost?

I wish the video links were in the description. On mobile it's hard to go back and find them after watching everything
Added! Everything is in an easy to access playlist!

never mind, just saw that you have the limited edition!

Performance on Steam Deck OLED is alot better, it’s perfect now. If you want more performance then go drop some money 😂
The screen is indeed a lot better. Performance…negligible at best. Better battery life and runs cooler but games play virtually identically.

Valve shouldve given it 65whr battery.
How did you get that switch joy con look for your steam deck?
dbrand.com/shop/limited-edition/switchdeck
It's dbrand's Switchdeck skin. It's pretty good stuff they sent it a while back.
@@paulwilliams2024 it’s the limited edition version
Wow, he talks now!
My favourite console ever.
