... hooooly fuck that's incredible. All you can really say is congrats, this is the culmination of so much hard work and amazing grinding from you. Highly, highly deserved! GG!
@@lollolrk That's a great idea actually. SSX gameplay is so deep and multi layered, it is hard for people without experience to see how good this is, especially with how easy Kelecat made this look here. Plus, without very specific knowledge it is very hard for ppl to really understand just how optimized those runs are.
@@lollolrk Great idea! I don't know if Kele is planning to do a video like that himself, but I'll wait and see if he does first, he should have first dibs after all. But that might be a fun and educational video to make in some time!
I am actually playing it now over the 2012 funnily enough because it just feels so much more polished and cared for. The gameplay being open world basically makes me feel like the newer ssx title totally dropped the ball. It could’ve kept the progression system but they wanted to be able to do micro transactions for absolutely nothing worth paying for in a weak ass game 😢😢 still love playing it, just can’t believe how much better ssx3 is
@@Bittamin Going back to 2012, it makes me wonder how everyone would have been able to get characters to level 15 AND also be able to get the best gear. Because practically no one plays the game online anymore, you can't participate in events to get big ingame money. The only way forward is of course the microtransactions lol.
it blows my mind how you took that wipeout and kept going. it was surprising. great job. i've watched this run like 5 times now, still learning from it
Absolutely epic, loved the metro city run especially, and timing the super uber to get thru those transition areas is brilliant. Didn't know about the teleporters, are they phone booths // Matrix reference or something??
they're an easter egg set by the developers, and possibly a reference to the track in Tricky that Metro is based on, Merqury City Meltdown - which has a UFO that teleports just like these phone booths do.
4:47 I have NEVER heard that voice line before lmao Was that Red Station rail miss intentional? Also WTF THAT GOOD BOOTH WAS IMPECCABLE Take the W, what a run.
…idk I played ssx1,3, on tour & last I love 3 and on tour for the free Rome and putting all in one map Deadly was a good no gear challenge BUT I feel it would reign superior if they did the all slopes on one map-well 3 peaks. BECAUSE it would be one heck of a map so many highs, lows, crevasses areas that would FIT the 4 deadly decents. the last 2 though would probably have to do with weather and night (whiteout and darkness) I think that work idk. Plus it would’ve made a really cool city track as a bonus
I don't do those "pulses" in this game as much as I do in Tricky or 2000, but typically the purpose of doing that is to maintain top speed on friendly terrain (not uphill, not deep powder) while using less boost.
Everytime I try to do that short airtime then spinning just as I land to try to go faster I slow down Wth and how do you even do that? I see the control's but still can't do it properly
every single one of them (besides the one in Red Station, that was recovering from a mistake) are all planned ahead of time, and give a time advantage over riding the course without using them
oh i think the bottom ones are supposed to indicate digital L and R inputs. the top ones are analog L and R, and I think the display doesn't correctly pick up when I press L or R all the way. it doesn't matter if you press digital or analog for this game, thankfully
Peak events don't have platinums. You can only get gold medals for them - in order to get the golds, I believe the times are 11:10 for Peak 1, 16:20 for Peak 2, and 25:00 for Peak 3

7:00 is a technique to skip ahead - you just need to reach the edge of that rock and reset to save time. sometimes you'll wipeout, sometimes you won't... it works either way 15:06 is an easter egg in Metro City only that instantaneously teleports you to set locations - there are three of them in the map, and all of them combined can save over 20 seconds versus the next best route!

@@Daggy898 you should analyze this run, would be a great watch
EA really outdid themselves with this title, even when compared to SSX 2012; it just hits different, the lighting, the ambience.

That flawless metro city after a pretty much perfect all peak race blew my mind! Congrats Kelecat

All peak free ride is zen af
Decided to revisit the APR record to see what had changed over the years and how optimized it's gotten. Great run kelecat
Watching your videos actually helped me beat the all peak race against the time set after you beat your rival. Seriously entertaining videos.
Damn I had to watch Dilated People's Who's Who after watching this. You smashed it Super Mac! 🤘
Those transitions, especially into metro city, were INCREDIBLE. I never knew it was possible to make it with boost to spare. 🤯
I love all your SSX videos, I don’t speedrun but I love playing the games and it’s so fun to try the paths that you take. You’re awesome
I didn’t even know that some of these respawn points existed what an amazing run man well done👏🏻👏🏻
Nice work on that big run right there. Under 16:00. Congratulations Kelecat!!

I'm just happy to take 4 minutes longer than this...
Sub 16 lets go!!!
insane run I learned so much. I discovered spots I never knew existed :O
Good god, your Metro was SUPERB. Great run!!!
Kelecat is a national treasure
after struggling a week to even get a 30 minute time on this, maaaaad props
Incredible, man
That has to be one of the most impressive things I've seen in a good while. Nice job!
OMG, what a run!! GG kele
15:57?!?! What on earth💀
Good stuff as always.
That was fucking amazing
Congrats Kele you are amazing!!! this is amazing and you should be proud :3
very nice
brilliant
They do multiple laps on a downhill track, ssx 3 exists in non-Euclidean space
gg
yo this is crazyy
thought this was a tas for a bit
nice intimidator jump :]
at 12:36 my favorite trick from that game
Damn boi you're good
Sub 16 insane

yep, Mac shouts out the band K-Os for big air sometimes!
rail miss was unintentional, i just did my best to recover from it

Only going out of bounds to skip a part of the track ?
Sub 16, niiiiice.
What the actual fuck man. You're a fucking god at this hahaha sub 16 is crazyyy
And still only gold medal smh

Did you stop running ssx tricky cuz you got the max points possible on all levels or?
Voice of this boarder sounds like Sonic the Hedgehog.
Why do you do little pulses of boost instead of holding it down?

Just use the Transport menu, the checked-off All Peak Race is still playable.
