I have the Caseology Parallax case and I love it. It's the same color as the one you reviewed here. I also had the same case on my Pixel 5. Very good cases and I have yet to get a scratch on either of my Pixels. Great feel and good grip.
@@AldorCrap I've had mine about 15 months and I haven't noticed any loss in color. I do have some wear on the back just from normal use. It looks to me the color is built in during the manufacturing process. It doesn't appear spray painted.
Great video. How does the Caseology compare to the likes of Dbrand and Otterbox, especially for normal drop protection? Not the kind of tests some reviewers do throwing their phones around.

If you're looking for a transparent case that's of a sturdier thicker quality and hugs the phone well without space, check out the one from Ringke (Korean brand)
I have 2 Spigen cases... no it's Korean not German 😀 They're both smart and protective. One is fully smooth black like one here, the other too but it has a large transparent window below the camera bump so you can see one of the 2 colours of your phone. It is much smarter and better built than fully transparent (which looks cheap to me) and is available in India too.
Do not go with the Google case. Did not protect my phone against drops. After the 2nd drop, the corner of the case cracked and my screen was damaged. Cost me over $300 to fix.
You left out one of the most protective cases you can buy especially against drop damage, it's "GHOSTEC" cases. It's the best one, the other brands aren't even in the running IMHO! It's probably not the prettiest case but it's the best for if you ever drop the phone especially from a higher distance from the ground! I dropped my Google Pixel 6 over 25 feet onto concrete, not even a scratch to the phone or the case itself.

Eh, none of these cases have a kickstand, which was one of my requirements. I got a Poetic Revolution case and will probably also get the Zagg's Glass Curve Elite (wherever they decide to have them in stock) to round out the full protection. In the meantime, Poetic has a crappy plastic screen protector that came with the Revolution. At least they thought about adding an index-matching interface material for the fingerprint sensor. Many other case manufacturers totally botched that aspect.

I'm seeing a lot of cases with a top and bottom raised lip but the sides are flush so something on the phone in the 9 to 3 position will be touching the screen. So I've changed to screen protector plus the case.
with the google made case, are the curved edges still exposed enough so they are vulnerable to damage if dropped? I want a case that has raised lips to absorb any drops and not crack the screen. The only screen i ever cracked was an exposed screen on my curved glass Galaxy S8
The Google brand case does have sides exposed as you can see in the video. Should provide ok protection but not as much as a case with thicker material in that area.
These cases suck. Get a dbrand skin or case, I know Moment has one that turns you pixel into a magsafe compatible phone just like the iPhone and BellRoy has a nice leather case also

I have the Spigen Tough Armor case and it's brilliant. Solid back and has a stand but also has that same camera protection. I love it!

Hey How it went with the case? I heard some said that particular color (grey ash) was spray painted and the painting was getting lost over time

Ringke transparent case is hard TPU and not flimsy like that one
I've had the parallax case before but after 2 years the case finally gave up and my phone screen cracked so I changed to a OtterBox defender pro

i know the pixel 6 pro has the "double tap" feature on the back. Is that still usable with these cases?
I have the silicone case from Google and Dbrand grip case. "Double tap" works flawlessly on both of them
IF ANYONE ELSE IS CURIOUS...I bought this phone and the otterbox defender case. The doubletap feature still works with this thick case.

I have this 9:55 case, it's a terrible case. Don't looks nice and is bulky and slippery.
the Google case gets warped within 4 months and needs to be replaced. Complete waste of money
over a £1000 & they don't provide a case with it, they don't deserve your custom
