I just ordered the Pixel 6 Pro because there is a really nice promo going on with my carrier. I typically spend more time researching phones and then start researching their accessories. Well, I am doing both at the same time. As for these cases, I really like both but I need the kickstand so I am going with the Defender. My wallet is wounded. I've always managed to find suitable less expensive cases over the years but for some reason, I am just not finding anything so OtterBox it is and I suppose it's about time. LOL
I had the 1st case and my screen cracked after month 2 or 3, I just recently updated to the Defender Pro to protect my replacement phone. I love the slim design of the symmetry but it just didn't hold up well especially with a curved screen. Without the big front lip protection of the Defender. Thanks for the review, wish I would've seen it prior to purchase.
I got the defender for my 6 pro and i like it but i hate how squeaky and creaky the case is. For the price I’m extremely disappointed. Ive actually seen people in the medical field talk about the antimicrobial phone case and I’ve heard them bring up the fact the bacteria can become resistant just like with medication and it just wont work. I use alcohol wipes to clean mine once or twice a week.
Defender pro all day since I have had an OtterBox defender on my pixel 2 xl & 4 xl I've never had to replace the phone & I work at a mill and keep my phone in my pocket all day but life dose happen and otterbox has my back every day defender pro on my pixel 6 pro no questions

A couple of questions - How heavier and bigger is the Defender Pro compared with the Symmetry? Is the Symmetry comparable to the likes of the Spigen Hybrid? Both Otterboxes are out of stock and I cannot wait since my phone is without protection since a week.
New subscriber, great info! I've had a symmetry case in black for my Pixel 3XL and was very pleased. Now upgrading to the Pixel 7 Pro and looked to get the Symmetry 7 Pro but see they don't have it in black. I've seen some customer reviews saying the clear version "yellows." Any thoughts on this?
The defender is just real thick, reminds me of my old cell mate but we used to call him Sweet Potato mainly because when he would shower it looked like he was swinging around a yam. Anyways, the case is great but wait until 2024 because Amazon will lower it to $20.
I love other cases they definitely protect the phone from drops an I add tempered glass protector. My phone has bern.dropped more than I've counted an still looks n works as new buy on.ebay cheaper.
Did you try the Defender with the new Pixel Stand? I was wondering if it will do wireless charging on that one since the case is so thick. Not sure if the coils are different on the stand and the charger you used.
@@TheJabberTech literally the comment I've been looking for. I have the ghostek for my pixel 6 and it's great but it has the red corner protectors and it just looks meh with the sorta seafoam. I ordered the clear symmetry today hopefully it doesn't yellow fast.
@@TheJabberTech I work 2 fairly dusty/dirty jobs. So I've had dirt and stuff in my cases. Some cases more than others. So keeping out a good amount is a goal.

I just bought the clear OtterBox case for my pro! It's expensive but definitely worth it to protect an expensive flagship device. No regrets!

Symmetry case is way slimmer and lighter..not as light as the Spigen but more protective

The screen has cracked twice in a year with this case and a screen protector. Love the phone, it just breaks really easily.

Are the sides raised higher than the curved edges? Ghostek covert does but I would like a hard back case like the symmetry
