i used to be obsessed with watching productivity videos and doing the aesthetic notes and stuff. and of course, none of those worked. than i was burning out over piled studies so i finally decided to take a long -term break and choose what will work for me best. after about a year or so of changing productivity tips that didn't work for me, i found not one, but several ways to manage my time and it was worth it! right now, my only problem is being distracted easily and my attention span but surprisingly enough, everything in this video was already the stuff i found out over the years! so thank you for reminding and summerising what i've achieved and thanks for dedicating your time for this.

I think this is the most realistic approach to productivity I've seen! Taking into account where your emotions are at instead of the "just do it" approach is awesome.

I love your channel and i am experimenting with your methods :) Creating time blocks doesn’t seem to work for me anymore. I used to be great at it when i was in school and at the university but now i don’t have enough commitment to time. What works for me now is setting a “reminder activity”. For example: i will study one hour in the morning, this hour will start after my first walk with my dog. Doesn’t matter what time i walk the dog in the morning, i just need to study right afterwards for one hour.

This was an excellent and comprehensive overview of journaling! I found Ali Abdaal's advice on the different levels and techniques for journaling extremely helpful. The science behind expressive writing and gratitude journaling was fascinating. I never realized just how powerful writing about thoughts and feelings could be for mental health. Abdaal makes a compelling case for how journaling helps gain control over your mindset. The prompts shared are fantastic. I especially like the Wheel of Life for evaluating different aspects of your life, and the Fear Setting exercise to push past limiting beliefs. The Odyssey Plan also seems like a great tool for clarity on your path. I'm excited to start consistently journaling by using Abdaal's tips. Writing down a few sentences each morning seems like a manageable way to begin. I'll try to remember that the simple act of getting thoughts on paper is the key. Thank you for so many practical suggestions to unlock journaling's life-changing potential!

I am not one to leave comments in the common section, mainly because I don’t always find a video worthy of me taking the time to write something down. But I do feel that this video has really been a gift, because I’ve been struggling with how to time manage, and most of the time I sit down to go do some thing, but then when I get there like go to the gym or try to study or even clean the house I don’t even know what I am trying to do. I just haphazardly stumble my way into a giant task with no clear goals in order and structure in my whole life is, just floating with random tasks to do. But this video helped me so that I can build my life in the direction that I want to. There were some parts that were confusing like step nine with all those add-ons, I did not like those because I did not understand what those things were, and how to even implement those. I also did not understand what he meant by the containers, because I understand that you have to make time to do tasks, or time to work on your projects or responsibilities and block your time, but I wasn’t sure what he meant by filling those containers. But overall, it was a very good video, and he said a lot of mind blowing things like how much time we waste possibly 13 years of our lives. Just task switching.😢 yeah, that was crazy. I am excited to try this nine step system and not look at anything else because as a person with ADHD, I get easily overwhelmed with too much information and I really think that this video beautifully encompasses life productivity.

Just in 1 video I can get this much, not overexerting but it was phenomenal just wow.💜
thanks Ali! These are what I need at the moment after watched thousands of productivity videos =).It's useful and practical.
