S9 Plus is miles better, but I'm in need of an upgrade, and I don't have enough money to afford such a tablet. By trading in my Galaxy Tab S6, I can get the Tab S9 FE+ for $300, which i think is worth it to me as I will use it primarily for art, note taking, and video streaming. I game sometimes, and from the tests I have seen, the performance is enough for me.
I highly suggest looking at the used market ! Nothing really compares to a flagship and the tab s8 from last year has many great deals rn. Maybe you can even try to sell your tab s6. Switching from an amoled display to an lcd might be a little hard for an artist(color accuracy and just the quality) and last year's flagship still has a powerful chipset(better for gaming). But if you want something brand new and don't mind the lcd and lesser performance, s9 fe+ is a great deal.
@@Affogato1128 I've always been unsuccessful in selling and used Tab S6 is still less than the trade in value that Samsung offers, so I'm better off trading in. The best trade-in value is for the S9 FE's, so that's really my only option for my budget. I've gone to Best Buy and tried the tablets out, and the displays are very nice, so I don't think that'll be much of an issue. I don't game too heavily, so that's also not much of a concern either. Thanks for the recommendation, though!

I think the smoothness wow factor was way more noticeable going from 60hz to 90hz. (When I bought OnePlus 7pro). Seems very similar to 120hz to me personally.

Great video! I have the S9FE plus and i really like it, I have tried the s9plus and ultra i think the s9 fe plus gives me more eye comfort when reading at night besides i'm only using this tablet to send out emails watching some movies writting and doing regular stuff.
Can you tell me if adobe lightroom is noticably better on the S9+ ?

Planning to use it for small business, paper work management, contract signing, and as my POS system. Also will use if for undergrad and grad level classes, most everything I use is through Google. Looking at either one to upgrade from the a8 I got just to see if I would like using a tablet. The answer was yes, guessing I'll have to fork over the extra for the 9+ if I want to use and abuse it for a few years with the documents and system storage. Thoughts? I also help manage three other businesses and have 6+ Google accounts on my tablet. The little a8 is hurting. Will also be running a sim card and using the pen a lot. Another one of the reasons I want to upgrade.

I now use an old 10" Samsung tablet to stream Netflix, Disney+, TH-cam, etc. every evening on the couch. I want to move to a slightly larger format, money is not such a problem, especially because I am buying it for the coming years.

I own a small business and im looking for something that can shoot video and photos for insta and my website but also do my sales on and use to update my website and edit product photos i feel like i will need the s9+ but could i get by with the fe?
You certainly could get by with the FE, but keep in mind that the flagship is generally a bit more optimized (both hardware & software - wise) to be more futureproof. You can also consider the S8 PLUS from last year.
What would you recommend for me? I'm not into high end gaming, and even movies I have my own TV for that. I'll be primarily using it for note taking, so having two apps running at the same time. But I want to make the full use of the tablet .
imo you would be fine with the S9 FE and the S9 FE+ (if bigger screen is needed)

I actually use a Tab A8 at gigs, lol. I also use it for Karaoke at gigs. Its always been a bit laggy, but worse now. Tryi g to decide if i should just pull the trigger on the flagship s9 plus, or if the fe will suffice....
The + FE Is amazing don't worry that it is a fan edition it is more than enough :)
@@TeslaFanXRV The + FE is garbage, having used it with every other samsung tablets, I can say that it is extremely slow and has a terrible display. It's nothing compared to the higher end tab S9+. If someone wants a lower priced tablet then the S8+ is still far superior to the + FE model.
I am an engineer who's sketching and noting a lot, and started to learn programming and I need a tablet to serve my needs. Which one do you think I should choose? Will FE cover my needs for a min of 3 years?

Fun fact: The lowest refresh rate for the tab s9+ and s9FE+ is 30hz
The burn-in risk of the AMOLED in the S9+ (I've read that many have had this problem...) makes me lean toward the FE, although I prefer the Snapdragon, and of course I would prefer more full-bodied colors, but the Oled seems like a risky technology.
I'd rather wait for the new generation of non-organic Oled.

Great comparison. If I could offer you some criticism, stop saying the complete name of the devices. Just say S9 plus or S9 fe plus. We know what you're talking about. When you say the full name you tend to speed through it and it's hard to figure out what one you just said. Just giving some honest hopefully helpful feedback.
I appreciate the feedback 👍🏾. I'll take into consideration how I say the complete name so that it avoids any confusion. Just so you know, we (youtubers) tend to do that because it also plays into the ranking of the video; the algorithm still takes into consideration how often it's said, and improves indexing keywords related to this video, and presents it to people who may have used different variations of the name - in simple words: it helps the video with exposure :)
