I think the heaviest drops can be found on the Singapore track at the end of the last lap. The fireworks effect makes my standard PS4 really drop hard in frame rate, well below 50.

Thanks to FIA regulations it's now possible to play F1 games with two monitors.The bezel and border between the two monitors is not a problem any more since the cars come built in with that problem.
What gets me on this particular game is that even with framerate dips on the base consoles, it's perfectly stable, with no microstutters, which can't be said for quite a few games. This is a testament of the EGO engine being amazing.
...while on PC, those stutters are in, and very likely because of the unnecessary usage of Denuvo.
(it connects to online services anyway, so why bother with it?)
UndergroundRevolution sounds about right. Which is why I’m playing most current games on consoles to avoid the bullshit on PC.
It's outdated. Bought five years ago. Denuvo-free 2018 ran on Ultra High, now I see stutters on Ultra Low...
Dayko you must have a pc that’s worth more than 250 bucks. Not all of us can afford or flaunt a 2080ti/i7-9900k, much less even an Xbox one x.
Just because you don’t have issues doesn’t mean others won’t.
Dayko I got my Xbox one s for 250, so no, it’s not necessarily cheaper anymore (and that came with Xbox game pass for 3 months). Keep in mind Xbox game pass now, which makes the value of the Xbox brand far greater now.
That being said, having over 1,100 games for pc, I can tell you that a fair chunk of those are going to go unplayed, despite the fact I got most of them for pennies on the dollar. Free online? Sure. As long as you play the biggest titles (Fucknite, PUBG, DOTA, etc) you’ll have people to play with. Anything outside of that, good fucking luck. PC players flock to the most popular games far faster than anyone I’ve ever seen, and have a hugely toxic attitude towards anyone that is not using RGB PWNED 1000hz MOUSE. I’m being facetious, of course, but not inaccurate.
Whether you like it or not, unless the games you are playing are PC exclusive, and are optimized for PCs (and DRM Free), then you are most likely going to see some kind of issue like this Denuvo shit sharting on lower end processors. Or Windows 10 causing microstutter when Game Mode is enabled or disabled. Or any number of massive possible issues that PCs tend to have.
And now with the Epic Game store snapping up exclusives in heinous fashion, all locked up in the security hole riddled store, and that makes me even more leery of the future of PC gaming.
I only have my Xbox, because I want to play the newest games, without having to fuck with my graphical settings every 30 seconds, or having to worry if the game will shit on my hardware, just because I couldn’t afford a slightly newer but slower CPU (Rage 2 refuses to start on the G4560, for instance).
Don’t get me wrong, I love gaming, period, irrespective of platform, but the elitist shit has got to stop. Let people game on what they can afford.

Scon Videos Yes they do but I've been watching DF for years and really like Tom and David's videos. Since Alex joined Tom has done fewer and fewer videos and been only been in one podcast and that one isn't with the DF crew.
F1 2019 has truly immersed me in the driving and tracks. I love picking a vehicle and time trialing a track. Really like how even time trials is a mini game in itself, by showing you how moving up in rankings. There is so much I still need to learn about this motorsport.
This is my first F1 game after the PS3 version in 2006.
Love it when some developers take advantage to show their creativines on a console that deserved to be push to its limits. OneX

The X is a true beast , unfortunately Microsoft didn't take advantage of it , it arrived too late, when most 3rd party and exclusive studios are thinking or working on the next generation :( .

@pfizer121 Forza horizon 4, big open world runs at 60 fps on xbox one x. Nfs payback runs poorly on xbox one x at 30 fps.
Console Cpu is not a problem with low api and good developer skill.
Red redemption 2 looks amazing even at 30 fps and runs better than ac oddysey.
Spiderman also looks stunning with a lot of details.
Console exclusive show the true power of console.

Personally I think Forza Horizon 4 on the X is the best looking game this gen, but this game does look very nice!
Long story short: Xbox One X beats PS4 Pro. Locked 60FPS, and almost true 4K.
And still if i put the two newt to each other, whrn playing in motion you wont see any difference.. Games are not static 200% zoomed images

The cockpit divider should have been made transparent. In real life, with depth perception, a thin object like that doesn't really block any information, it gets ghosted out by what the other eye can see. Here it looks in the way.
you can actually make it invisible in the settings.

I really hoped that there was VR support for this game. After playing PC2, AC on VR, I do not think I can go back to regular standard screen. That comboed with the Steering Wheel and Pedals is just ...

Currently playing F1 on max settings on my laptop...2012 edition, loving it.
I saw F1 2019 in the store and wow, looks more real than real life. One of the best graphics I've ever seen.

Do you know what doesn't look authentic? Those collisions, I've seen enough F1 to know that the majority of collisions end up with someone's car getting fucked up, where in this, the wheels are perfectly fine, the bodies have nothing on them and the wings remain perfectly intact, is this like Arcade damage mode or something?
Thx for the comparison. However, I clearly notice that performance gets worse after 10-15 laps (at least on PS4 Pro). That was the case with F1 2018 as well. Could you please check that? Thanks.

For those who hate the banding as much as I do. Use ReShade, a third party post processing app. It has a debanding filter that is just a godsend.

But I've missed some differences around cockpit modes. It would be interesting to know if there are FPS differences when using the main 2 cockpit modes which are normally in use for simulation/steering wheel players.

The last F1 ran at 4k via CB rendering on both Pro and X and at 60fps..

F1 2018 dropped frames to around 50fps a lot of the time and was covered in screen tearing on the ps4 pro but ran perfect on the xbox one x.
That cant be helped it is just one of them things, even 1800p CB is to much for the ps4 pro to handle it should of been 1440p native with no screen tearing and a locked 60fps
@@supergamer1870 Wrong screen tearing is not tied to what resolution the game is running. That's more down to VSync, also there's many games that runs at 1800p and up to 4k on PS4 Pro that run just fine. Also there's many games that has screen tearing on the X that wasn't on PS4 Pro and with frame drops. I guess VSync support isn't helping The X or base XB1/S. In many games analyzed, the X dropped frames with screen tearing; Division 1 and 2 being two of the many titles.

Who said screen tearing was tied to resolution! I didn't but lowing resolution can fix screen tearing as the gpu don't have to work so hard.

@@supergamer1870 You the fanboy, tour very response was it dropped to 50 fps when it was shown to drop an avg about 2 to 3 frames from 60fps. Then You then. said CB 1800p was too much for the Pro and should of been reduced to 1440p. Lowering the resolution helps with framerate not screen tearing. Implement some kind of adaptive VSync helps with that. Also, I don't care if you was talking about F1 series only, as i mentioned the XBOX ONE X isn't without fault and in many titles, had screen tearing and frame drop. Just made sure you knew this and not basing the X, as it it doesnt happen on it only just F1 series.

I have both it’s better on PS4 Pro that’s a fact. It’s feels better seems to feel faster for some reason . Looks brighter as well as sounds better . Spent a long time on Xbox one X before I tied it on my PS Pro and I was shocked.
I have both X and Pro and I agree. I think to make games hit 60fps on Xbone S games are being striped back graphically. This is then effecting the copy that the X gets, it's getting the exact same file. If you check the install size of games on Pro and X the pro version will be much larger and that especially applies when it comes to Codemasters games. So Codemasters games 100% look better on Pro. Mind you the X controller is better for racing games and has better feedback. I've found it tricky picking which console to buy particular games for, especially racing games. They look better on Pro but feel better on X.

Is there anyone else who thinks Project Cars and Assetto Corsa are way way better in terms of gameplay and actual driving than Forza 7? I know its more like an arcade racer but even after tweaks, I find the driving to be extremely poor.

No, no and no. I tried both the Gran Tourismo, Project Cars 2 and F1on PS 4 pro, the Forza Horizon 4, F! 2019 and Project Cars 2 on X box one x. By far !! Project cars 2 is the best racing game out there, after the updates - on x box one x. Much more details and physics when driving, more tracks than any other game and much more realism - and it looks great. Inside and outside the cars 4K HDR 10 - 60fps. The other games are fine but can go back to the kindergarden. There is no comparison - that game you totally forgot Mr - but i guess its too much sim for you. Or do you know it??

F1 is my favourite sport, but I just can't bring myself to buy the game more than once or twice a generation, going through a whole career season takes forever and you need to do a few seasons to get the most out of it

I didn't like F1 2018 (PC). I think mostly because of the default fov. The track ahead looked stretched so corners looked distant, distant, distant. . . oh sh*t I overshot the corner. I find spending an hour or 2 on tweaking steering wheel settings cumbersome I didn't have the patience to mess with fov too. According to steam I only played for 2.5 hours. I want VR support too, 2D racing seems boring to me now.

The problem with X1X is the console’s wheel support and the severe lack of buttons available. It makes managing ERS, Fuel, DRS, MFD etc. a lot more difficult and less immersive than it ought to be!
