G'day Robbie. To me on a camping / fishing trip it used to be fish, fish, fish and everything else was second until the last trip up the Buckland a few weeks ago. No mad rush on setting up. No dash for the river for the arvo session. In fact I didn't get the rod out till the 3rd day. I did however still walk the river on the first couple of days and just took photos. It's amazing what you see without the rod in your hand. Things I hadn't noticed before and took some fantastic shots. Sure by day three I was well and truly honed in on the fish all day and the next morning. So I've decided on future trips I'll take at least one day out to actually relax and just soak up the surroundings and not worry about hitting 50 thousand mark on the castometer.
Hey Lubin You're a very patient man. Day 3 I'd be out of there smashing a schnitty down the pub. I also heard the fish biting their heads off back at the boat ramp.
Awesome video on what we have all faced at some stage, fishing on a hard to catch weekend ( for me all to often at the moment with salt water fly fishing ) But as you said Its that "could be big fish" on your next cast that helps push you through on the next trip out. Thanks for keeping it real.
Mate, really enjoyed the video. Couple of lovely fish to soften, what was a tough 5 days of casting and hoping for that big one. And some of that river scenery was just terrific too. The big cod fishing gods will smile again soon 😃👍 Cheers.
Hey Mate, any chance on a boat run down? might be a good vid, explain what when and why. Im in the market myself, and finding buying my first boat very daunting, not knowing anybody that owns one lol
@@thefullscale-fishingadvent2917 great idea. I’ve seen your deck loaded for camping. So good call otherwise one day I would see an in manned 420 renegade idle past hahah!

Nice mate! Reality is you can't nail a beast all the time. It's great to see the condition the fish are in after the floods. Feed City!!
As usual a fantastic video. The production quality is absolutely first class. Well done.
Nice one Lubin, I enjoyed the editing and videography on this one even though the fishing was tough!
Great video mate
Love your VLOGS Lubin. You take us along for the ride which is amazing and one of these trips is definitely on my bucket list.

great watch, what lock no were you at ?
Yes some days it takes hundreds of casts, then suddenly a prize fish.
How wicked bro!
Did you make a drop in higher deck insert for your boat?
saw that too, usually has the middle open, plenty more real-estate to cast from now
Thanks man! Yea built a removable casting platform to store all the gear and make more fishing room.
