I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I'm not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

This should be the design standard for all future creatures, they all have functional depth and do something valuable in both PvE and PvP
Except that I'm still bitter that they didn't rework the Archaeopteryx instead. Now it's even more useless.
But yes! Use in PvP and PvE is fantastic. Even if some creatures are really hard to balance for both.

Yeah. Sinomacrops is perfect for getting sniping positions.
It will be ok for getting to positions but shooting accurately while you’re flying with it will be virtually impossible

I love the Amarg tame method in concept but holy fuck that seems like it'll be the most annoying thing in the world. Especially trying to get one at or near max level. Just horrendous.

Thank you for getting to the point with this video on each new tame, with no nonsense or unrelated tangents on the side, like some other videos. Without all that, it takes you only 6 mins to explain, where as other channels go on for 15 mins.

Ughhh Amargasaurus is gonna be a nightmare to tame
I think the Amargo taming will be buffed so it tames faster, cause its got a similar problem to the stalker when it came out.
Yes, exactly. I think that'll definitely happen as well. That's insane. That amount of work is crazy. I get it's a better dino but if you have to do work that as grindy and ridiculous akin (though not AS bad) to its big sauropod brother (Titan), that's going to piss a lot of people off. I think they'll give it a huge buff for taming.

Cool idea with the Dinopithecus, but Amargasourus is gonna be a nightmare on both PvE and PvP, especially PvP, cause anyone can roll up, slaughter it at 98, and move on, not to mention just how much prep goes into ever trying to tame it
Might see if netting the thing your hunting with the Amargo will help tame it
Also all 3 can be netted which makes deinopithocus a tad easier to tame

These tames are going to be tough but it's good to see some creativity put into them.
I like that there are new taming methods, but I think a baby-steal would be better for Monke.
Amargasaurus is a *bit* complicated. Just a little.
It’s weird tho if u kill all of the dinopthecus but the babies I could have swore it says needs to be at least 2 adults around so does that mean it’s a way to tame the babies possibly when u don’t kill the adults

another way to tame the Amargasourus, just trap them and agro the wild dino to him so he can initiate the first blow and then you can finish the rest, you will not be annoyed while following the Amargo while taming, and it s pretty fun way .XD
I've found amargs and sinos in the desert as well.
The dinopithecus is one of the only creatures that has baby variants in the wild, so I wonder if you could swoop in the the maewing and insta tame the babies. That would allow you to bypass the taming process, but I don't think that's really a good thing

One thing I have heard mentioned is that the starting up ark screen has changed from Gen 2 to ark ultimate survivor edition
For a high level sinamacrops try to bring it out to sea, then get a raft out to it and it will circle around the raft and land on the raft when its hungry. If ur still confused them go watch syntac’s sinamacrops video
There definitely using the amrgasaur etc to test a new taming methods

Very interesting way to tame the Armaga, i don't feel like it's worth it right now cause it seems to take a very very long time. They'll change that eventually i reckon

a note about the Dinopoithecus Babies, you might be able to use a Maewing to snatch them.
Hmm..i wonder, make a trap..kite the amargasaurus there...have like 10 baby gigas..unclaim them...and let him kill them. Check the taming % after.
So for the big monkey.....won't be easy to pick it up with a wyvern,quetzal or hover.
And for the ama. Would it be possible to make it fight your own "unclaimed" creatures on aggressive?
I don't even think it's worth trying to tame a dinopithicus, just tame a maewing and steal the juveniles and babies and there you go, finally a good purpose for the maewing other than the rare case that you find a baby dino during a raid to steal!

you could probably use baby wyverns or baby gigas in a trap to speed up taming the amargasaurus

Wildcard will work on and release anything, but a PS5 update. Delayed from xbox update release to December 2020. Delay from that until gen 2 release, gen 2 delayed 3 months den 2 launch, radio silence, is been months. It's been a year since launch.

The way to tame it easily is to get amar
Is to breed rexes build some behemoth gates and place some there do passive and unclaim them now kill them with your amarg

I think taming pens would still work for dinopithecus, get the alpha in and close door, kill the rest and your good

Yeah amagarsaurus will be painful to tame.One idea is trap it and bring small things like dodos and carbos and see if it wants to kill it.
It only hunts aggressive or territorial creatures.
Maybe eating rare flowers helps

So far a high lvl sinomacrops proves to be a pain to tame so I can't even imagine the amarga.
Don't chase sino, it'll come back to feed after you feed it once.

When the sinomacrops is close enough, could you place a tent over it to keep it in place while you tame it?
I read that it doesn't work, since the tent counts as being indoors and it wont tame indoors.

I’ve lost my sanity with the amargasaurus
Don't know if it's just me but the sinomacrops is not that simple to tame. Been struggling for hours, the taming keeps resetting when it gets to far away.
I tested it for some time today. For me it worked as follows: have chitin in the zero slot, be dismounted and have your mount wait in minimum 50 metres away from the Sinomacrops, if your mount is too close the Sinomacrops will spook and flee. It will also flee if you move. You have to stand perfectly still and wait for it to approach. Then use the taming tracker, otherwise you are likely to lose it. Follow the Sinomacrops, and as soon as it stops fleeing from you, lower your distance to it under 50 metres and stand still, it will then approach you again. Repeat until it’s tamed. I hope this helps, good luck!

i respect the creativity but personally i think wildcard needs to relax a little bit with the taming ideas because some of these recent creatures taming mechanics are just stupidly absurd. Megachelon, armagasuarus, bloodstalker, noglin, voidwyrm, ferox. Some of these creatures arent even worth the pain you recieve from trying to tame.

Well I'm turning my taming speed back to 1000! This new taming is just stupid for solo players, I'm basically a God with my settings and I still can't tame things that easy!
