With all due respect, you need to edit and retract this video. You kept showing the Can Am Ryker which is NOT a Spyder. The Ryker DOES not feature the same comforts, engine or features as the Spyder. The Spyder has a few trim lines and NOT only chrome, which you mentioned but showed the black. As a consumer this video is confusing.
You're are so right it's no comparison.put the Spyder RT Limited as a comparison.Ryker is a striped down plat toy not even made for long distance driving like the other bikes.
Please let's straighten a couple things up. You state the Harley is for speed but it's the slowest. You talk about the heavy weight of the Spyder but the Harley is almost 200 more. I think you should get your stats straight before you make these videos.
FYI consumers, consider this, the steering of a Spyder vs Harley TriGlide or Honda. Logistically, at high speeds you might not notice but the one wheel in front is harder to steer as you are literally dragging the heaviest part of the bike behind the front wheel and the 2 rear wheels do not move. The Spyder and Ryker is easier to steer, though the Ryker does NOT have power steering.
I have owned and driven a Goldwing with a motor trike kit for 12 years and let me tell you it is the easiest steering trike available. Most kits are hard to steer because they are too big.
The Can-Am is a BEAST in the curves. I am a short, fat middle-aged woman, and unless a rider is really good with a crotch rocket, I can leave them behind in the twisties.
I have an F-3S and love it. It’s not the touring machine that are the Harley and the Honda, but that’s not what I was looking for. My F-3S is a beast! Rotax is a great power plant!
Yes, the RTL is the touring edition that you Ride On. The F3S is the tearing shit up insane asylum on three wheels that you Ride In. Once I've driven my RTL into the ground F3S is all I'll ever ride.
Saw a brand new Hannigan BMW today at Noco Powersports in Fort Collins, Co. today. It belonged to a customer, don't know why he/she was there. It was Beautiful. I met Monte and his wife who own the Hannigan Franchise for multiple states, and is located in Windsor, Co. Monte put a Baja Ron Anti-sway bar on my Can-Am RTL for me. Good guy. His wife is a hoot, too. He did a beautiful blue Gold Wing for her. If you're in Colorado or the states anywhere around Monte's your man.
After my wife and I have rode over 300,000 miles on two wheelers we had to go to three wheels due to her health issues. She has battled cancer eight times and when the cancer in her brain caused her to have seizues we thought if she had a seizure on a two wheeler we might have an accident injuring both of is and possibly others. On a three wheeler our thoughts were that I should be able to pull over and take care ofher needs. The good news is she had brain surgery last August to remove some of the cancer and has not had a seizure since. These days she walks with a walker and walks out in the garage, crawls up on our three wheeler and we go for a ride every day the weather permits. Now our choice of three wheelers. We test drove the Canam Spyder and at 45 mph she was screaming she wanted off. On the Gold Wing trike she said it reminded her of a bicycle with training wheels bobbing side to side on the training wheels. Then we test drove the Harley Daivson TriGlide and things went smooth;y. We are on our second TriGlide now and still enjoying evrey ride.

The hd air vents do not cool down the bike if it gets hot..it helps cool the rider down when moving by allowing the air to flow and the vent is open. The goldwing seat is stock but you can purchase a aftermarket seat like with the regular goldwings
There is couple things missing in this show. 1 Can Am Spyder limited has heated seats front and rear, plus the passenger can control the stereo. 2 the Can Am Spyder has more storage than either of the other bike. 3 The Can Am not only does it have abs, it has stability control and traction control. Which one do you want to be on in bad weather or snow. Did I mention the Can Am Spyder limited is about 10,000 cheaper than the others.
I understand the purpose of the video but I feel the comparison isn't accurate or fair. I say that because the Harley is a purpose-built trike with 2 wheels at the back. The Can Am is the same but has two wheels at the front (I note that others have pointed out the fact that the video features images of the Ryker which is made by the same company and also has 2 wheels at the front but in most other respects has little in common with the Spyder). The two wheels on the front (or reverse trike as some call them) dictate an entirely different way of riding. Finally, the Goldwing conversion, whilst I am sure it is a great job that in many respects is similar to the Harley, is just that, a conversion of a 2-wheeler to a three-wheeler. The Honda engineers and designers went to a great deal of trouble to design the ultimate 2-wheel tourer having considered balance, centre of gravity and all the other issues that go with building an 1800cc tourer. Whilst the extra wheel is great for stability it no doubt changes all the dynamics of the bike so it is not the bike it was designed as. I own a Can Am Spyder, I bought it to replace my Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager which was proving a bit too much to handle for me. I wanted to keep riding and 3 wheels seemed the next best option. The Can Am is designed for just that purpose - older riders who don't want to worry about balancing a big bike. The Harley/Can Am would have been a fair comparison if there had been some test riding and comments on how the two on the front compares with 2 on the back - perhaps that is for a later video.
Not just for older guys or gals. I can still ride any two-wheeler out there. I bought the Can-Am because my wife was nervous riding the pillion on two. Now, it's my machine of choice.
I love how you guys are correcting him. He does this on purpose to get people into the comment section because that drives the algo and makes a pretty poor video perform well above its production and infotainment value. Smart dude.
Maybe you're right. I have a Can Am Spyder F3 and I find it nowhere near as comfortable as my last Harley E-Glide. Spreading the legs wide apart is more painful than comfortable on long trips. If I ever have a lot of money, I'll buy another Harley - a Tri-Glide Ultra.
