R.I.P J.C wish you were still with us,your videos should go down for some kind of Radio Control Hall Of fame or something. It would be nice if the Mini Quad Community Would Get Together And Get you a plaque made in your honor, you are greatly missed.
Awesome video series. Just had my first flight with the Evolution and had no idea what the main battery voltage was. This video explained "how to" in great and unconfusing detail. Thanks :-)
Does anyone else watch his entire commercial before video? If not you should, gotta keep JC in business! Channel security is a must with this one, " the Tube is strong with this one". Ok I'm done nerdin out
Quick tip,you can get into a few more of the factory settings by holding both sticks down and to the left when you switch it on.It'll even let you up the transmitter voltage,I'm wondering if it'll increase its signal strength.I think its very handy.
Nope there are no vibrations. I think they left that out because the motors needed would have made the transmitter larger and heavier. When you hit the low voltage alarms the screen will flash, the sticks light up red, and it beeps.
The new update added the delay option. Right now my alarm is going off like constantly after about 30 seconds of flying. I'm still messing with the options to see what settings give me an accurate alarm. Have you played with it much since the recent firmware update?
I have the turnigy i6 transmitter I thinks its called from hobbyking just a bout a month ago it came with 2 receivers I think my guy used the smaller one... I know this is stupid but what is telemetry?
They just call being able to see sensors on your multirotor "telemetry". The Taranis can see the multirotors battery voltage, RSSI, current, GPS position, and much more. With the Evolution you just get battery voltage.
I too in same boat. I need diagrams and parts or told where to buy. I bought a mode 2 and escs and etc and really left me in the dark for a nooby but determined to see this thru. I will paypal for info as i'm retired at 84 young.
So I'm having some issues, ordered the tgy evo from hobby king on the 10th, still haven't received any shipping info, do they just take forever? On a side note I ordered realacc x210 pro from bangood like a week ago, got shipping info but apparently it's still sitting in China. Please just tell me I'm just being impatient.......
I've never used the i6s but I would imagine the same. The two are almost identical. Of all the receivers I've used with the Evolution this one has worked the best for me.
Miss you JC. R.I.P. I wante to ask you if this is also valid for the X6B and if you knew which channel is being used. I have a Devo 7e with Deviation and it asks me for a telemetry channel. Maybe one of your followers know.
Hi I'm looking everywhere for help I last installed a radio system in a glider in 1981a two channel radio ,man radio systems got cheaper and more complex .l cant figure out how to install the damp thing it's a turnigy system receiver TGY-lA6B 6 channel I dont know I bus SENS or SERVO/S.BUS dose it need it's own power suppy? I have 6 channel jet ,need help install system. Manual for radio control says for beginner's and experience alike, well I'm a beginner, it doesn't give the unixpeance any knowledge in its manual how to install. Do you know any site that I can go to that show start to finish installation for the old farts from the 80,s that dont now this type of systems, I real want to get this system installing in the jet so I can crash it,just kidding I'll have someone help me with that.if you can thanks a million if you cant that's cool to ,anyways thanks, your purity smart,me just a dumb as from the 80ss. Have a nice day.

these videos have been so incredibly helpful...thanks!

Nice vid JC, Thanks
I will hook this up right now. Thanks
Loving this series. Is there any way to get an actual voltage readout on the main screen ?
As of right now no, but I'm sure there will be firmware update eventually to fix that.
Can you display the RSSI in the OSD using the IA6C and the Evolution?
Can these gimbals be installed in fsi6s flysky
Does the led change color when bat is done charging on this
Does the TX vibrate like the Taranis when it hits the alarm?
Nope there are no vibrations. I think they left that out because the motors needed would have made the transmitter larger and heavier. When you hit the low voltage alarms the screen will flash, the sticks light up red, and it beeps.

Project Blue Falcon mind blown💥 so simple, I feel like a moron
Hello, can we connect the battery directly to Voltage telemetry on the IA6C. Just for voltage telemetry
Good ? and i thought the same and was wondering how they powered the rx!
can you do a video explaining the flight modes setup. I am new and it is a little confusing.
I too in same boat. I need diagrams and parts or told where to buy. I bought a mode 2 and escs and etc and really left me in the dark for a nooby but determined to see this thru. I will paypal for info as i'm retired at 84 young.
Any idea how to calibrate the voltage sensor on the receiver?
I don't believe you can.
How to remove Rx alarm for low battery?
Thanks, This helped out alot

As always ... big help Dude!
Does this work on the turnigy i6s
I've never used the i6s but I would imagine the same. The two are almost identical. Of all the receivers I've used with the Evolution this one has worked the best for me.
it does have a delay if you upgrade the firmware
Does anyone know how to get an rssi readout on osd? I am using a Turnigy evolution with the ia6c receiver
RIP J.C 😔

I'm sorry I did not know he dyed I'm truly sorry.
The Alarms don't matter, you can't hear them anyway:(
Very true
tahosrfr I drilled a hole in front of the buzzer and it is much louder

Support the porting of OpenTx to the turnigy evolution and I6s.

How can I get the RSSI from the IA6c to show up on my Betaflight OSD
I haven't found a way yet with any of the Flysky or Turnigy receivers. Still looking into it.
