Unlimited Models With Turnigy Evolution

- Many people think you can only use 5 different multirotors with the Turnigy Evolution transmitter. If you have more than 5 they think you have to purchase another Evolution. There is a better way. Rebinding the receivers to the transmitter not only allows more models but its actually faster than changing models.

Great video on the Evo! Seems like there's quite a few people having problems with the little FS-A8S Rx's and the Flysky factory guys are still trying the fix them, on V2 now.
cybervid07 if by fix you mean 'wrap it in tinfoil' then your correct. It works but it's not a good fix.
Slick trick. I believe you are correct with the A8S, it binds to the transmitter itself, not the model though I have not confirmed this as yet. If so, yippee, unlimited models.

i have experience flying a diff. model in my taranis well all of my units are fpv racer but it didn't feel diff. because all of my settings on the radio for of my units are the same.. so with this Radio maybe its not a different story at all... =)
Yep thats what I do. All my settings on the radio are the same. Only differences are in Betaflight. So I just rebind every time is switch multirotors because rebinding is actually faster than changing models.
Unfortunately this handy hint doesn't work on the FS-X6B as that has a bind button, but I prefer it over the TGY-i6C as for the swappable u.fl antenna plugs. The A8S is still problematic as it either cuts out or jams your RC inputs briefly.

I'm new to this and just upgraded from a h107d lol to a tarot 120 and bought the evolution controller and a A8s reciever.. when u bind it the way you do do you have to change your trim settings on controller everytime you switch drones? Not sure what beta flight is yet is that like clean flight ? So you preprogrammed your trims onto the flight board?
You'll have to change your trims and endpoints. Here is a video on how to do it.

Yep Betaflight is almost just like Cleanflight, but much much better. Just remember if you want to use Betaflight you'll have to flash Betaflight firmware to your flight controller. I have a video on how to do that. Just look in my Betaflight playlist.

did you install an ibus Flysky receiver? Because it comes with frsky
im new to the hobbie and i really wanna get a holybro shurikan x1 in the future, will the turnigy evolution work with that quadcopter? i am still learning. thanks for any help great video.
It depends on what receiver it comes with, if it comes with any receiver. If the one you are looking at is a ARF (almost ready to fly) it more than likely does not come with a receiver. If its BNF (bind and fly) then it will. If it comes with a Flysky receiver then it will work with the Evolution. If it doesnt come with a receiver then you can buy the Evolution and it comes with a receiver. Then you can add that receiver onto the Shurikan and it will work. Last option is if the Shurikan comes with a receiver, but it doesnt work with the Evolution, you can take it off and put on the receiver that comes with the Evolution.
