I'm so happy, that you did a review on the Multimatic! Yes, a tourbillon is an eye-catcher, but this one seems more "balanced" in regards to the dial. In fact, the insane amount of different textures on the Multimatic, especially on the coral colour version, has made me change my mind. If I bought one, it would be the coral, not the emerald green as I was keen on initially. The reason being, that the coral colour seems to catch those textures more easily and they continually remind me of the "Penrose Stairs", otherwise known as the eternal staircase. I wonder if the design team had similar musings when they were in alpha stage? That texture alone is very very enticing. I've always been drawn towards the power reserve indicator on a watch. If done correctly, it adds so much elegance to a dial, but since I will not dish out the money for a Grand Seiko Spring Drive, this one might tide me over. I think we Zelos fans have been spoiled in terms of lume. Any watch I see is always pitted against the lume behemoth Elshan created, which is of course unfair. As a creature of the water, I take a dim view on it measly 3 ATM. Very dim. However, I also recognize the fact, that this is a dress watch, not a tool watch. But at least a 100 meters would be nice. I actually like the brushed portions sitting tall and proud on the case side 🙂. Yes, they're probably gonna need a polish or two during the day, but well worth it for the imposing, bombastic, almost gothic design language. One could controversially argue, that hints of nefarious architect Albert Speer's work can be found among those silent pillars.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! On balance, the Multimatic is an easy choice for me over the Ultramatic too. I thoroughly enjoy this colorway with its light play and color shift. It does set off the textures too, and the blue accents complement it well. Cheers
Offhand, I want to say it is 30-50m. It should be addressed within the first few minutes of the video in the specs (usually right after movement and before weight). Cheers

First Salmon dial version review on TH-cam! 👍
It's a very intriguing colorway! Loads of color shift. Cheers

@@JonathanTReviewsthe Multimatic II is being offered for less than 560$ on joma. 800 is too much imho
@@eustab.anas-mann9510 I believe Waldhoff has a bunch of discount codes that make the price the same as on joma. I just messaged them and asked.
Looks great, I'm a big fan of salmon dials too.
It can be tough to nail the shade/finish, but I think they did it with this one! Cheers
What’s the water resistance like?

@@JonathanTReviewsthanks bro looking forward for more micro brands video reviews just like this.
All those complications and yet no second hand??? Sorry but that's a deal breaker I won't consider a watch without a second hand 😏
Nope, they left it a two hander, though I believe the movement supports a third hand.
Adding the second hand would make the watch thicker. That's why they left it out.
