I’m 11 weeks I can’t even imagine doing that I have hardly any movement with the flexes
Really lol I can't even hardly put weight at 50% in my moon boot on cruches lol and I'm 8 weeks tomorrow 😂lol I also start pt tomorrow. We will see lol I broke 3 bones tore ligaments and had a dislocation. I have 1 plate 8 screws and wires that pulled it back secure in place.

I am at 7 1/2 weeks from my ankle surgery.... been rough ride so far I am learning as i go, been to psychical therapy each time going progress still hurts.. idk if i need find more comfortable therapy to get they are more in depth ????
Always best to have these discussions with your practitioner. Recovery from surgery may take number of months!
May I do the same exercises for fifth metatarsal avulsion fracture? My bone healed around 5-6weeks and right now I can weight bear on the injured foot. Thanks for the helpful video!

These exercises are just general exercises for all types of sprains/fractures and are used interchangeably.
Don’t typically use specific fractures in headings as most people search ‘ankle fracture’. Additionally, there are quite a few!

8 weeks post-op, on partial weight bearing. Had a Bi Malleolar Ankle fracture. Can't get the confidence 🥺🥺
Everyone’s different, protocols are always a guideline. Some people take longer and some are slightly quicker. Allow your body to heal and settle post-op, don’t be too hard on yourself 👍
I am 9 weeks and I’m allowed to put full weight but I can’t do half of this
12-13 weeks post-op. Now I can put full weight on it and I can walk with a cane easily. Hopefully will leave it soon as well.
@@mara1649 - Mara, always remember my dear it's all in the head. Take care of your overall health as well. It really impacts your healing. Vit D, Calcium and K2 will do good if taken once a day and yes, keep moving your ankle to allow blood flow in'it. Physiotherapy is a must to be taken seriously. Take care and if any question, I am always here.
Everyone is different it’s just a guide. Some take longer but doesn’t mean you won’t reach your end goal

Find a decent PT with experience treating these injuries
Sir my ankle is too stiff after plaster,i am doing exercise but its not improving. SO What can i do to improve myself. P.zz suggest
I broke my ankle on June,now I'm 10 weeks post surgery,I can walk full weightbearing but my ankle stiff AF. For me, having PT adjust muscles, tissue and tendons helps speeding up the recovery.

I start pt tomorrow. Been doing some stuff until I get there. Hopefully that gets better. Arnica gel can help with temporary stiffness. It's helped my foot alot . I have stiffness in my foot and ankle. Alot of my is nerve damage after my ankle surgery. I'm only 8 weeks post op tomorrow. I also start pt tomorrow 😊
