I always get excited tearing into old rations. I had an MCI with smokes I was looking at just before filming and at first thought the spoon was from the MCI I had out 😆 Thanks for watching Smitty!!
Apple jelly is my least favorite. But I do like it. I've had a few old MREs that was good. Smitty, C T and I got some from Dude man. They were perfect. Still have a few left. Glad everything turned out well. Great review Jerms.
Jerms is brave once again. I need to do my last Brown Bag meal, but stomach not up to it yet. Cool review friend. Vintage rations are always A gamble. We take what we can get that is good in them. Yours was definitely better than the average meal. Yours is the best one I have seen in A long time. I'M glad you enjoyed, and had some fun sir. I wish we still did the freeze dried fruit. Did you say 1987 Jerms? I was in Boot, Ait, Sniper school and recon school. My first MRE in training.was that turky dinner, it had stuffing. Add water. Chocolate cake cookie, orange drink and coffee and hot coco. With crackers. We had to bring our own salt, pepper, sugar since t h ey never gave us enough. I had my own peanut butter and grape jelly with bread or crackers. I brought q few pop tarts to. That was breakfast! Lunch a cheese burger dinner then dinner turkey MRE.

So shocked this one was so good! Had no sickness from this at all. Definitely risky though. I've never gotten sick yet but I'm not sure I'll keep doing it. I can relate to the old inner tube smell. I've fixed hundreds of old tires in my day.
