It's so important we keep our fur babies as pain free as possible during these tough times. Herbs such as turmeric can help ease inflammation and relieve painful symptoms commonly seen in Lymphoma💕❤ Sending so much love to all the pet parents with little ones currently battling Lymphoma

Thank you! I use some supplements as well in my patients and have a separate vlog covering that :) th-cam.com/video/lF7EEl6_rr0/w-d-xo.html

I asked my vet about using turmeric and she said that it could negate/affect the chemo treatment so it wasn't advised.

@@CynsCorner It depends on the chemo protocol your veterinarian is using. If you are looking for herbal support for a furkiddo also undergoing chemo, we can help with a regimen that will take your little one's particular protocol into consideration. 🧡

Will find out Monday if my dog has this. Aspirated the lymph node in neck..swollen only on one side. huge swollen neck lymph node. Infection in intestines, some enlargement in spleen and liver but only one liver number was high..the ALP (314). Bilirubin is normal. platelets normal. Albumin is low. Creatine Kinase is high. WBC high end of normal but had been on Antibiotics for 1 1/2-2 days. She had low grade fever. She stopped eating and was mopey. Started drinking a ton of water and peeing alot. Vet did sonogram, x-rays over entire body, and bloodwork. CDC looked good with exception to dehydrated and infection. sonogram..clean. nothing seen. She seemed to be in pain from intestines. Was given Cerenia, Entyce for appetite stimulator and antibiotics. If cancer I cannot afford chemo. outrageous what they charge. No cancer spots were seen on xray or sonogram. The lungs looked a little cloudy as well. NO coughing at all.on the side of the swollen lymph node her eye is tearing and slight runny nose. She is not exposed to any chemicals, no vaccines, only organic supplements and a homemade diet. No yard chemicals..nothing. I am very worried...

Hi; fortunately, our dog's lymphoma is benign and we have a related question about these lumps, in gereral.
Our dog has a large lymphoma under her chest that's beginning to drag on the ground and this makes her skin stay red under there. Would vet tape, or I was thinking an ace bandage, serve to make that lump one with her body? A support of some type seems needed. Thank You

My 11 year old German Sheppard was diagnosed with lymphoma just recently. Only signs she had was shallow breathing, purple tongue, little color lost, and fluid build up in her chest cavity, lost of appetite, lower legs problem walking. She has does steroid treatment and was working for a week but fluid build up came back. Our vet told us that it was premature lymphoma from test. What stage of lymphoma is she at? and what treatment should she try next?

@@DrSueCancerVet - Thank you so much! We are seeing an oncologist tomorrow. We feel really lucky to have been able to get a referral and appointment so quickly. We might have them run more tests than the initial aspiration done by our vet, because some of her lymph nodes have dramatically decreased in size, with some of them almost back to normal. I suspected reactive nodes after a really bad allergic reaction she had to a wasp sting, the lab said they saw immature lymphocytes. I don't know what you would personally think, but it feels like it might be useful to make sure we are actually treating her for the thing. Thanks again for all your help.

Hello........ Question. My Chihuahua has swollen lymph nodes in his neck. He has no other symptoms. Maybe some bloodshot eyes but honestly not much else.... Little more tired. The vet we take him to has no clue what is going on. He is 5 years old.
    Help.

My 12 yr old pitbull was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. My dog had to have an emergency splenectomy 9 days ago because his spleen was huge & bleeding. Cancer was found running deep into the abdomen & the vet couldn’t see exactly where it was coming from. She biopsied this cancer. We are waiting on the next results to find out if it is B or T-Cell. She is referring us to a cancer center to see if there is any treatment available. However, my dog has been refusing all food for 5 days. He also hasn’t pooped in 5 days. Over the 5 days, we have been forcing special food recommended by the vet. He has been throwing up small amounts once or twice a day. And he is losing weight quickly. Simply put, is it possible for his stomach or intestines to shut down and stop working? I am terrified that he is not able to process his food. He is not throwing all of it up, just small amounts. I am no vet by any means, but when I listen to his abdomen via stethoscope, I’m not hearing any sounds and I could hear sounds about 7 days ago. I can hear the lungs and heart, but nothing in that area. I’m waiting for an appointment to get him some help. Maybe they can do another ultrasound or do some sort of test to find out what’s going on.

My 14 year old lab/Australian Shephard mix, had lymphoma above front shoulder near joint and had it removed about 2.5 years ago, then a new lump came back below front shoulder and just had that removed last Saturday, she also had a growth on foot which was removed also. Blood tests were perfect, she's 14, but I didn't test type. Now I kind of wish I had it tested, not sure what to do now. Thought about cbd oil, or possibly something else to possibly help. She seems perfect, is not in pain and still eats with zero issues. Surgery was 6 days ago and she's back to normal. Even before the surgery, she had the lumps for around a year and as they got bigger I had them removed to not affect joint.

Hi Bill. Are you sure the lump 2.5 years ago was lymphoma and not something benign like lipoma. I ask because lymphoma of the skin is uncommon (5% of cases) and typically multiple masses and typically needs chemo. You can see why I cannot give medical advice on the internet :) It is really important that every lump that gets removed is submitted for biopsy so we know what it it is. I recommend you check out my Why Wait Aspirate playlist all about lumps and bumps. Hope that helps. Sending hugs #Kickcancersbutt

@@DrSueCancerVet it was under skin both times kind of mushy, not hard, foot one was on skin. The vet just said the lymphoma fell apart when she went in to remove it. Maybe she did say lipoma, I hope so, sounds so simular. She did say after removing she got it all, falling apart when removing seems like fat to me, but dunno. She never said anything about I really should get it tested after or after doing anything. My dogs neck has no lumps. I really appreciate your reply!
