Wow I can’t wait for this movie to come out
It already came :)))
@@YourName07 Like almost 50 years ago lol
@@madmaxcentral3858 clearly he was joking.
🤣🤣🤣
I'm going to see it... as soon as my time machine gets outta the shop
It is so weird seeing a Mad Max movie with grass in it for some reason
I dont get this chronology, current Mad Max movies seem to me like spin offs of this main canon
Well if you see part 2 which takes place 3 years after shows semi arid desert...
In part 3 which takes place 15 years later show full desert...
So it's called degradation
@@lanusax Not to mention, isn't Mad Max 2 and 3 post-apocalyptic while the first seems more of society falling apart and lawlessness taking over?
@@PerturbatorFan Mad Max 1 is society crumbling, but I think by the time Mad Max 2 takes place, it's pretty much the same thing, but out in the outback it's worse. The nukes drop between 2 and 3.
@@DomPeriodthank you for the explanation!! I’ve only seen fury road and furiosa and had no clue there was others!
Awesome movie, an absolute favourite of mine, never tire of watching it, oops, that reminds me, I must go and watch it now.
I look when i litle and i gonna look again
Mad Max...Women love him....Men respect him!
Unless the men aren’t straight.
It was a masterpiece of madness, violence and terror. Any subsequent series that surpasses it is merely an add-on.
Low Budget Classic 😎👍
Se estreno en 1980 y fue producida a fines de los 70, que esperabas 🤔
@@paulXD84esta halagando el hecho de q aunq haya sido barata c volvio un clasico 😅
In my opinion the single finest film ever made.
I watch this movie on TCM last 2 months
It's a bloody good film, although Road Warrior edges it slightly for me. Great series!
@@horrorfanandy4647 world warrior is amazing. Depth and story that you get in the original mad Max.
Although the action in road warrior is beyond anything
Just shaded by Empire Strikes Back. Mind you - I have seen Mad Max over two hundred times
What are your thoughts on the modern mad max film?
Mad Max is a great classic with Mel Gibson known for Lethal Weapon, Chicken Run and The Passion of the Christ. This film is more darker than Blade Runner
Does he lose his family in the film?

Produced in Australia by Village Roadshow.
the one and only mad max movie
The best of all
I agree
The first one is soooo boring
This series has inspired Ken Shiro (Hokuto no Ken)!
It inspired a lot more than that.
Yuup ...a lot more Fallout games for example..the whole post apocalyptic genre was inspired by this series. .
I just realized it is called Mad Max because Max is Mad crazy. He's a want a be cop in a apocalypse after society has ended. His car is a two seater, and he can't put criminals in the back. Then the mototcycle cop also can not arrest anyone and take them to jail on his bike. Mad means crazy. He's a psychotic ex-cop who can't face the fact he isn't a cop anymore. Society is gone like his mind. Then notice how he murders speeders instead of arresting them. He's crazy and that is why it is called Mad Max. Cops are psychopaths.
I think Mad is more of irony because as the world fell everyone around him went mad he's not actually mad just traumatized ..he questions it in fury road as who's more mad him or everyone else
Classic movie 🎥
Classic movies are the best 💯
Bubba Zanetti would argue that the Interceptor is his only weapon.
Lol I get it, are you talking about the scene where Max shoots him with his Sawn-off Double-Barrel Shotgun?

I'm confused, Mad Max is the first one from Warner or MGM, and who holds the rights until today?
I have no idea - even the wiki’s page is everywhere lol 😂not sure who hold what movies
@@StopListenThink outside in the U.S.
Only the first one is both currently rights shared between MGM through Orion Pictures unit and Warner Bros. Pictures. Coincidentally, WB also currently holds a worldwide home media distribution rights under licensed from MGM Home Entertainment replacing Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Disney's 20th Century Studios Home Entertainment.
Thanks everyone
@@and43j49 since Warner Bros. Pictures now currently owns the entire Mad Max series even though only the 1979 film rights shared with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer since WB also owns in physical home media worldwide distribution rights on behalf of MGM.
What great music!

"tHeY sHowEd thE wHole mOviE iN thE tRaiLer!"
Even though the movie takes place in Australia decades ago it reflects the USA in the 2020's all too well.
Why does it look like a Horror Slasher Movie???
For some reason, for the American release they decided to dub off their Australian accent to an American accent. Even thought they sound the same to me. Strange fact
What are you trying to tell us, MGM?
Soundtrack seems to be from logans run an MGM production like the first owners of mad max
Do u know the title of this music??
Its good that they made movie in 80s
Masterpiece

Documentary ✅
So no one is going to talk about how much this Mad Max trailer spoiled important plot points and the ending of his family?
That's just how trailers were back then. We haven't really evolved that much either, remember that godawful Batman v Superman trailer that literally put every single scene from the movie in the trailer and went on for almost four minutes?
Sewage entered rivers and seas on average 825 times a day last year
bit close to the truth tbh
Many old movies have predicted events that occurred decades later… even some crazy movies, I think you’re on to something!!!
I’ve seen The Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome, so I decided to go back and watch the original, in which I’ve never seen before. The film is odd….very odd. The dialogue is wacky and the pace is fast. I know that it’s a low budget film, but man. I just don’t think the flick is very good. The best of the 3 is definitely The Road Warrior.
@@leonardorossi5130 English please.
Mad Max has Australian dialogue. It's not english. There is two versions of this movie on DVD in English and Ausie.
@@sleepwalker29 Australians speak ENGLISH because we were an ENGLISH colony. It was dubbed for US release because Americans have trouble with the Australian ACCENT of ENGLISH.

Fury Road is also "true mad max". and Furiosa is an amazing prequel. The original 3 especially the first 2 were amazing but Fury Road and Furiosa are in my opinion better.

Wow, no hate to the movie but this might be the weirdest trailer I've ever seen. It's so...different from what I know of the Mad Max series. There was actually grass and like...normal places of society, not like the dystopian deserts of the new movies.
The original trilogy was about the breakdown of society. From the collapse in this film, to the death and destruction in Road Warrior, and the birth of a new society in Thunderdome.

What a terrible trailer . This was probably the best of the mad max movies. later movies seemed to have lost the plot.
"The maximum force of the future." Worst line ever. Ha.
had to turn this off halfway, dont see the appeal.
Its target market in 1979 was Australian young men. At the time there were practically zero Australian action films so it was a big deal.
@@captainpoppleton gotcha so it’s not that people like it because it’s a good movie but rather cause it’s nostalgic.
Worst movie I've seen, atrocious acting and ridiculous storyline. 😂😂😂😂
Someone ripped Tangerine Dream's Sorcerer theme for this?
Its like a cover of it. Not the actual song.
I was wondering who did this music too, it seems eerily familiar.
