- Welcome back to yet another episode of Jives Fishing! Today's episode is a special one - a survival fishing video at Labrador Park Jetty where we bring no food with us and eat only what we catch (meaning we had to fish until we got a decent sized fish). Fishing was very slow at the start but we got lucky with a barracuda that took our live kuning bait, so we did a little catch and cook where we fried the barracuda fillets. We also got a really venomous fish - a stonefish. Do remember to like and suscribe for more of these!

7:15 When i was at Punggol Jetty few months ago,an angler share with me his tips for keeping the small cut prawn more intact by drying them out for a while in the sun..once the outer flesh got a little dried..that's good enough to hook it n cast out..I saw him have a few rows of small cut prawn flesh on a small tray..I never try that way before but seems good idea..

Try to severe it's spinal cord which is at it's upper-neck(back-neck) by using that clever in 1 clean heavy strike. it will kill fish in a 'flash' which is humane. Then proceed to bleed the fish in however ways you want. 👍🏾

stonefishes can survive for long periods of time out of water during low tide, that's how they maintain the disguise of a stone. I'm more concerned about how he held the stonefish, i don't think they are very strong being ambush hunters but they can thrash and if one of those spines got him...
Buddy, you defo need a wind muff for your outdoor mics. It makes all the difference in audio audibility. At the moment your volume fluctuation is wildly erratic
