- Today we will bring you guys for some Inter-Selar Season at Labrador Park Jetty. This year season is very much different from last year. Ikan Selar or Yellow tail Scads appeared much later compared to last year season. This session is a 3Day visit at Labrador Park Jetty to hunt for Selar, Selar Papan or Kunings. I hope you guys enjoy some small fish action with a little bit of catch and cook.

Basic information:
Bait - Where to get the Prawns?
Tekka Centre Wet Market or check the nearest wet market near you.
You can also use normal market prawns.
Timing - Best time to catch Selar?
First Light (6am - 830am) & Last Light.
Tide?
Changing tide from H-L or L-H
Rig?
5 hook Apolo rig (Size 5) or Sabiki Rig

Nice! Good thing you didn't eat todak sashimi cos our todaks are known to have parasitic worms. Must be quite fun eating your catch at the jetty - adding some butter into the fry would enhance the taste.
Sadly we didnt have the sashimi sauce 😁 The smell of the todak is not so enticing so its a no go for sashimi 🙊

Hi man, you need an air pump to keep them alive. Changing the water when its dirty also keeps the fish alive for a longer time.
Nice. Mix tumeric powder and salt for Selar before frying more sedap

@@AJVMFISHING once upona time, we went to st john island. i saw my friend brought the fw shrimp. I laughed of course! But he caught fish after fish and even outfish my prawn meat. He seldom fish and usually brought back coral fish to keep in his fish tank.
One fine day he asked me where to fish for selar and i remembered lab jetty. He went there with the fw shrimps and outfish the uncles there. When the uncle went to investigate his bait. They were dumbfounded too. Hahaha. He caught atleast 4-5 selar for his consumption.
