@@LTOutdoors15 Thats awesome man. I think more people will benefit from your video. i pay the 14.99 a year for it but i know you can use it for free. But you dont get as much features. Thanks for the video. I use this for Grindstone Lake here in minnesota its around 150ft deep in some areas but helps you find the depth changes and flats like you were saying. Keep your stick on the ice ~Red Green
@@SnappySnapfire thanks brother!! Its definitely a great tool, I use it to plan every lake I decide to learn. I pay for the app too, I love all the features
I think I found this app 6-7 years ago and thought it was an awesome resource for scouting lakes. I especially like using it on my computer because everything is so much bigger and quicker to use. I also like that the app allows you to change the depth on the map to match the actual depth in case the water level has changed since the map was made.
Hi there,Evening LT sir. Great video & very imformative,Thanks for sharing. Have you already done the other video on other mapping source for finding what species a lake has in it?
@@LTOutdoors15 Hi there,Evening sir. Oh that is what mapping you use for what species in a lake? Kinda wanted to think so as knew you have them at end of your videos.
Hey Ron! It sure is. I rely on those booklets, they have all the stock data and met surveys so it gives a good idea of what fish are in each body of water plus it has great charts and points of interest
I've noticed that a few times too. I dont mind though because at least I'll know there is a depth change of some kind. Some of the lakes actually get dropped in the fall too so the app cant help with that part. I've fished a couple lakes other than vanetten that get lowered every fall
I downloaded it. It's free for 2 weeks. Thanks for the tips bro
You're welcome brother! You'll love it. It's a great tool for any fisherman's arsenal
I've been using it since last season and I love it..
Its definitely a game changer! My buddy rich is gonna use it in Florida soon
@@LTOutdoors15 nice. My buddy Rich turned me onto it last ice season..
@@ericarneil9598 it's great, I've found so many awesome little holes with it. I look forward to traveling with it
@@LTOutdoors15 same here and keep making them videos. I enjoy watching them.
@@ericarneil9598 thanks brother!! I really appreciate that man. I should have some good ones this week😊
Great videos always helping everyone out thanks brother. navionics has always helped me
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I surely try my best, I think every fisherman could benefit from navionics 😊🎣
I been using this App for a few years now and I love it!
It's such a great tool! I've used it a few years too. Figured I'd do a little video on it haha

Absolutely!!! Its excellent!!! I put it right up there with Onx, both excellent tools for all outdoorsman
Looks better than fishbrain.. Very informative 🤙🎣
It's an excellent app, some fisherman log in information too so it can really help
Tawas lake was one of my by far favorite lakes to fish for largemouth and pike.
Mine too, that lake is a blast. Great for big gills too
Good instructional video. How much is the app ?
Thanks brother! It's only 14.99 a year
@@LTOutdoors15 just downloaded it. Very cool. Lots to check out.

BTW, Which video is it that you discuss an app that lets you know what species is in a lake?
I'm going to have to make another. Its lost somewhere in my mass of videos lol. I usually use sportsman's connection books though
Hi there,Evening LT sir. Great video & very imformative,Thanks for sharing. Have you already done the other video on other mapping source for finding what species a lake has in it?
I did last year but I should probably do another one
Hi there,Morning LT sir. Ok thanks,As wasn't sure being this one was a year old. I'll have to look for it.
Never mind I just realized this was my video from last year lol. I need to make another one for sportsman connection

How do you fish it if its just a huge bowl no drop offs or hump, just weedlines?
Now by bowl do you mean it's a super steep drop off?
No just gradual no drop offs acouple beaches and weeds
@@orviskid then I would definitely focus on the weed edges, if those are the only structure points the fish would have to be there
Navionics is great, got it. Ordered a sno dog, can’t wait. I can walk but that limits ya
That's so cool man!!! I'm jealous, I'd love to own one of those
Have Navionics. Waiting for a call from Larks when they get more Snowdogs in.
Where did you order you Snowdog?
nice job on the video, I have found it to not always be accurate on some small lakes, for example may show your in 30ft but are actually in 20ft.
I've noticed that a few times too. I dont mind though because at least I'll know there is a depth change of some kind. Some of the lakes actually get dropped in the fall too so the app cant help with that part. I've fished a couple lakes other than vanetten that get lowered every fall
Ok so what if I pitched my smart phone...
The app saves the spots so when you log in on a new phone theyll still be on there
200 bucks a year! No thank you!
What are you talking about? Navionics costs nothing like that
