Nice job m8 saw looks good. I have the 10 inch sliding one and must say uts been good 🏴👍
Great review of the mitre saw, just subscribed to you as well, funny though I'm trying to edit one of my videos but always end up watching other videos lol
Thanks mate! It’s always the way when you’re trying to get something done. The lure of TH-cam is always there 😂
Hi Ben, Good review on this Lumberjack mitre saw, look a decent saw for the workshop and not to bad for the price, shame about the vac system don't fit properly, good old gaffer tape to the rescue. Great video Take care
Thanks mate. Gaffa tape for the win as per usual 😂😂
Hi Ben. I have a number of LJ tools including the predecessor to this saw. It has the fixed rails which are fabulous for the UK single car garage. As the saw is probably a Rigid saw and for the US market, space isn't a premium like it is here. The other features like the adjustable mitre gauge are a huge improvement. My previous mitre saw had it and I do miss that. I am shocked at the dust port and at lumberjack for not having at least an adapter to fit but the dust collector will be made by different a company.
I also have the TS1800 table saw which is awesome and have recently upgraded to the cast iron side tables. Absolute must have if you get the saw.
Another good review. Cheers
@SteveDurr thanks Steve, the saw seems to be based on the Dewalt DWS780 but actually more closely resembles the Hercules model from the USA based on the conversations I’ve had with the third party dust port guy. Fingers crossed it’ll sort the dust collection as it looks like it should.
@@lionandbear I think I might know who you mean. I did build a surround for mine but after a move round V2 is now on the ever expanding to do list 😂
Annoyingly the adaptor arrived today! It’s from Travis at Shop Nation and seems to do a decent job. Doesn’t get rid of everything but it’s a lot better than it was due to being so much closer to the blade.
