  • Here is an analysis of a recurring problem that should not exist in wushu: the external valgus.
This is a basic error known in all sports and which is well documented.
Unfortunately, it is very common in high level wushu.
    How is this possible?
Do not imitate, do not believe without understanding.
Science gives you the power of analysis and comprehension.

Very important and good video, I’ve seen numerous athletes do this, ranging from international level to beginner. I injured my knee from poor knee setup for inside 540. Now I practice certain basics very slowly many times to try to perform “correct” knee movements.

Magnificent analysis of a very common problem in sport Wushu and Kung Fu in general. An inspiring work that gives all of us teachers another opportunity to develop safer and more effective exercises and training structures. Thank you very much.

It is also very common in "low level" wushu and it is a rampant problem with the most basic pu bu stances!
